*Julia's P.O.V:*
"... You're just so pretty..."
Me?
Me?
Is this a joke?
I blushed... once again. How many times was that now, like twelve?!
Why is he calling ME pretty. I don't get it. Why is he being so nice to me.
I bet I'm on the show 'Punked' or something.
The last time I was called pretty was by... Josh.... Ew. He makes me sick. I haven't believed I was "pretty" or "cute" or anything in that category. I just feel... ugly, unwanted, unattractive. I don't like looking in the mirror. I don't like my reflection. And that's all thanks to... him.
"You're blushing again." Niall said softly, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"I do that a lot, don't I?" I laughed.
"I think it's cute." Niall said.
Cute.
Ha.
That's really funny.
"Can I ask you something?"
"Go ahead." He said.
"Why are you being so nice to me? Like why do you wanna hang out with me and stuff....?"
He took a minute to answer. He just stared intently at the road in front of him and then replied.
"Hmmmm, well ever since you bumped into me that night, I fell in love with your personality. You seemed so laid back. It's not that often that I get to have a normal conversation with a girl without them screaming in my face. And then we just kept bumping into each other, so I figured, why not get to know her?" He laughed.
I felt kinda bad for him. I get that he wants a girl who's calm and collected, but why me? Who would ever want me?
Then we stopped. In the middle of the road. It wasn't a busy road, thank god. We kinda looked like we were in the middle of no where.
We both exchanged glances.
"Let me guess, no more gas?"
He nodded his head.
"Fantastic. Where are we?!" I laughed.
"Somewhere..." He laughed.
"Oh boy... Are the paps still following us?"
"Nope. They've been long gone. I just lost track when I was talking to you."
My heart beat increased. Gosh, how I wish I wasn't so untrusting.
I blushed. Good thing it was dark.
"Hold on. I'm gonna make a phone call." Niall said getting out of the car.
My eyelids were becoming heavier.
'Stay awake. Stay awake. Please stay awake.' I thought.
"Okay I called someone to come pick us up." He said getting back in the car.
"Good." I replied curling up in a ball and resting my head on the seat. My head felt heavier and heavier until it rested on something.
Niall's shoulder.
At this point, I was too tired to care. I let sleep take over my body.
