I woke up the next morning, feeling tired over the little chaos yesterday. It felt good, actually. These changes doesn't feel so bad. But the only thing is, today is school day. Not really a fan of it.
After stretching in all poses on the bed, I let out a sigh. I looked over to the clock, 6:30 am, school starts at 7:15. Ema and my school, Hinode High is a good one. But not one of the best. While Mika went to Bright Centrair Private Academy which is one of the best school in Japan. She's a smart one, isn't she?
After staring on the ceiling, I remembered my best friend, Mitsuo. Recently met him the day before we moved into Sunrise Residence. Oh how I miss that boy. The dorky, cool, funny, gentle, cheeky guy I can trust in everything since 6 years ago. He went to a really great school, Hirano Academy. I'm working really hard to get that scholarship. I really want to meet him often. But before that, I should go to school now, shouldn't I?
I pushed my soft, warm blankets away from me, forcing myself to get up. The struggle is real.
I opened my curtains and let the sun ray seeped into the room. The scenery was breath taking. Opening the windows, the cool breeze of the morning hit my face softly. Taking a deep breath, I went to the showers. Done in around 20 minutes, I wore the school uniforms and then stood in front of the mirror.
The hair. It needs to be nice yet not too casual.
Might try to let it free.
Nope.
Maybe try braids.
Not my hair day.
After trying on lots of different hairstyles, and my hair started to tangle, I finally got the perfect one.
Why didn't I think of the simple high ponytail? Man, I wasted my time. I looked to the clock again,

Shit I'm late.
Wow you're so fast, Rei.
I ran down the stairs and reached the living room.
And you forgot your frikkin bag, Rei. Up the stairs! I ran back up and stumbled a lot of times. My face could be bruised right now but I don't have time to check. When finally reached to my room door, I took some time to get my breathing even. Then after I got my bag and almost throw it away when slinging it on my shoulder, I ran back down. But before that, my day cannot be a day if I don't crash into someone and hurt my butt.
BAM I crashed into one of the brothers. Good job, Rei. On the first day. Good. Job.
"Oh my god I am so sorry!" I said trying to pick myself up. After I focused on my view, I saw Subaru on the ground.
"N- no it's fine. I'm good." Subaru said. I held out my hand and pulled him up.
And why does he have to be heavy? Almost fell, but didn't. Thank you, world.
"I'm really sorry, I am late and oh shoot I'm dead! Bye Suba-nii!" I looked to my wristwatch and flee from the scene. I can see that he was trying to say something but the attempt failed. I felt my cheeks heating up when remembering what happened earlier. Wow I'm such a mess.
While running down towards the kitchen, I saw Ukyo, Wataru, Yusuke, Mika, Iori and Chii on the table.
"Well you're late as always." Mika scolded.
"Hehehee thanks for the compliment." I grinned. "Well let's go, shall we?" I asked.
"But onee-chan you haven't eat your breakfast!" Wataru said concernly.
"It's okay Wataru-chan. I'm already full." I replied. "Full with air.." I mumbled to myself.
"I'm going with my classmate, Iori okay?" Mika said. I looked towards the guy named Iori. Blue-ish grey hair, hazel eyes and calming smile.
"Wow another classmate in the family, huh? That's so cool!" I replied. Iori and Mika smiled back. Such a small world to have lots of the family members in the same school.
"Okay we're late. Let's go? Let's go!" I cheered. I looked towards Yusuke and found him averting his gaze. I really don't mind much. So then we girls waved to Ukyo, Wataru, Mika and Iori while the red hair Yusuke just keep walking without looking back. Not really that happy today, are you Yusuke?
We went on a train, having me, Chii and Yusuke the red hair going to school together. I always hated going on trains. It's always so crowded and it's just so annoying.
The train arrived and we stepped inside. Because of the crowd, Chii is pressed up against Yusuke. Which what my reflex would do, is to slip between both of them.
"It's kinda cramp in here, huh?" I said looking up to Yusuke and smiled. He was dayum tall. Almost cramp my neck.
"Y- yeah.." Yusuke replied, avoiding my eyes.
I know that now I am pressed up againt a guy, but it's better than seeing my sister, Ema being in that situation.
Yusuke started up a conversation after a long silence for the 4 of us. He asked us about our feelings about the sudden amount of siblings. I remained silent and let my sister talk. I heard the intercom announced the next stop, which I recognized as ours.
I poked Chii gently and told her that we've arrived. She nodded and told the brother. After the train door opened, we walked out of it and we were running towards the school. I mean, the school gate will be closed in 5 minutes!
We finally saw the school building in our sight. The bigger the school in our eyes, the closer the school gate to touched the other side of it. And boy did we ran like Sonic.
I jumped dramatically; like in those cartoons ya know. Reached out my hands, trying to stop the gate from moving any further. Good thing I didn't look like a fool and fell on my face. But everyone's expressions was... Quite amusing I could say.
Yusuke's eyes was wide open. Little shine in it. Chii stood there speechless. After an awkward silence, she clapped. Thanks, sis.
My face felt so much heat that I have to go to the restroom and splash some cold water.
I went to class and with felt the same atmosphere like every day, I sat with a loud sigh beside the guy I've been sitting next to since the start of the year, Yoshihino.
"Hey what's up?" He asked while leaning his head on his arms on the desk.
"Ahh nothing much. Just almost missed the gate and lost my life from out of breath." I replied nonchalantly.
"You're still alive so you're good. Just put aside those bruises on your face." He said laughing at my stupid, tired face.
"Thanks, Yoshi-chan." I sighed. He chuckled.
"But hey, have you done Math?" He suddenly asked.
I gasped. Checked my bag and pulled out Mathematic book,
"SHHHHHI—"
(Chii PoV)
Bell rang meaning it was time to go home. And now my home is no more the old one. How I miss that average yet cozy house. The Asahina's household is still uncomfortable for me. But I'll blend in eventually.
Packed my bags and went down a floor to Rei's class. Yusuke was following me not far behind. Reaching to her class, I saw her waving at her guy friend, Yoshihino. He got that good looking face. Spiky black hair, green eyes with that charming smile. Looking at him reminds me of Mitsuo, Rei's best friend. Such sweetheart and a very smart guy. What a dream boyfriend he is, indeed.
"How's your day?" I asked looking at her.
"Math teacher made it bad." she pouted. I laughed and pat her head.
We went straight home with the train. Not as crowded as the morning, but still cramped.
Arrived at the front door of the mansion, or I should start calling as my house now, we saw Ukyo at the kitchen.
"We're home~" Rei spoke up.
Ukyo smiled gently at us. "Welcome home." he replied.
Ukyo told us about Subaru's 20th birthday tomorrow and that we're gonna have a birthday party for him.
"It's been awhile since a party, eh?" Rei chuckled.
Yeah, it's been awhile since we celebrate any birthdays with the whole family. How I miss those days. I think I forgot how it felt like. It's quite sad to think about it, but I'm sure it's a fun time..
After having a little chat with Ukyo, we went up the stairs to see no one. Juli jumped at us and greeted us happily.
"I'm going to my room." Yusuke said lazyly.
Juli looked at him intensely while hissing, after a few moment, he sniffed around.
"Shh, I can smell a wolf." We all walked to the nearest sofa to see a guy sleeping on it. And this guy is the one that we had seen on the television.
"Fuuto Asakura, huh?" The name escaped my mouth.
The pop idol might have woke up by my voice. Oops.
He raised his arm to his head, looking up at us, "Who are you people?" he asked drowsily. He looked to us three, and suddenly shot up.
"You, red head! What the heck are you doing here?" He pointed to Rei.
"Well, idiot. If your brain are still trying to catch up, I'll tell you." Rei said clearing her throat.
"This beautiful girl right here, is your new sister. Another one is still at her school. And I'm here working as your new maid." Rei said nonchalantly.
"Don't tell me you are....." the pop idol started to say.
"Yes, moron. I am your sister." Rei said while stomping away to her room.
My expectation for the pop idol to react is to be mad or something he would do to rage, but it turned out to be a small smile carved on his face.
