                                 Tʀᴏʏ

Fucking meat balls! Holy shitironi! I'm shrimping! I mean.. simping.

"You look really sexy." I managed to say without stammering.

She wasn't just sexy, she was beautiful. Radiant and breathtaking. She wasn't overdressed or covered in too much makeup. She was just perfect. I would remember her being this way forever.

She smirked before replying "I was born sexy."

"Yeah, yeah you were." I chuckled softly and just looked deeply into her eyes.

Her cheeks flushed slightly and she bit her bottom lip. "You seriously want to use this five minute date just to stare at me?" She questioned with a cheeky smile.

I could stare at her until my eyes were still in my head.

I grabbed her by the hand and ran towards the car, opening the passenger door for her. She smiled and got in. I closed the door softly and waved at her friend who stood on the porch with an admirable smile on her face. "Good bye Angel. It was lovely meeting you!" I said with a polite smile before climbing into the car and driving away.

Within fifteen seconds we arrived at the restaurant in the next street. I jumped out and ran around the car to help her out. "Come quick." I said to her, grabbing onto her hand and running into the restaurant.

We immediately got seated and three men stood alongside the table waiting for our arrival, each one with two platters in their hands. "Chinese? Asian? Mexican?" I asked through quick breaths. "Chinese please." She chose politely. I nodded at the man with the Chinese platters and he placed a bowl of BiangBiang Noodles before each of us. "Yum!" I exclaimed cheerfully as I dug in. She smiled, putting a fork of noodles into her mouth.

"Ahem!" I cleared my throat. She looked up at me through her pretty eyelashes. "Tell me dream girl, do you have anyone special in your life?" I asked, looking up at her.

She smirked then leaned in a bit closer. "Maybe, Maybe not. You'll never know." She remarked slyly.

I chucked at her response. "Actually, I think I already do. If you had someone special in your life, you wouldn't have agreed to see me tonight."

She shrugged with a smile then looked down at her watch then back at me.

I grabbed some cash from my wallet and smacked it down on the table. I jumped up and grabbed her hand again, running out of the restaurant and over the street to the ice cream parlor stand. "Strawberry? Vanilla? Chocolate?" I suggested different flavors and she yelled out confidently "Chocolate chip!"

I smiled awkwardly at the ice cream man, hoping he'd have chocolate chip flavored ice cream. He smiled and handed us two chocolate chip ice cream cones! "Thank you! Thank you so much!" I thanked the man. We walked away and down the street whilst licking our ice cream cones. "What's your happy place?" I asked her. She stopped and stood still, her eyebrows raised at me. "Happy place?"

"Yeah, like something you do that makes you happy? Something you do whenever you feel scared or confused or even angry sometimes, you go running to that happy place hoping to feel better. What's yours?" I asked again.

She smiled then looked down at her feet. "I have many happy places." She answered, looking up at me again.

"Name one?" I asked looking deeply into her eyes. I had many happy places too but I felt happiest when I was her. Maybe it was a bit too soon but I couldn't shake the feeling off. Sure, I had only really been three minutes with her but I couldn't help but feel like she was going to be a forever happy place.

"Books." She answered after a few seconds.

I smiled at her and we continued walking. "Favorite book?" I asked curiously.

"The fault in our stars." She answered, taking another lick of her ice cream. "Believe it or not but I've never actually read it. I've seen short clips of the movie on YouTube but that's it."

"Wait, so, you've never actually seen it or read it before yet it's your favorite?" I asked in confusion and she nodded in certainty.

"Sir!" The man from the ice cream parlor ran towards us and notified me with a nod. Oh, yes! I handed him our ice cream cones and he walked away again.

"Wha-"

"Dance with me." I interrupted her.

She rolled her eyes, mad that I had robbed her from finishing her chocolate chip ice cream cone.

"Will you please dance with me dream girl?" I asked again in a pleading tone.

She smiled then giggled. "There's no music silly!"

I looked down into her mesmerizing green eyes and stepped closer towards her. "Music please!" I called out to the musicians that have now surrounded us.

She looked around at the musicians in amazement. My eyes still stayed focused on her. She was stunning, her skin glowed under the bright streetlights, the moonlight breaking through her hair as her eyes glistened with happiness.

"May I have this dance dream girl?" I asked a third time.

She looked up at me again, bit her bottom lip then nodded.

I placed my one hand on her lower back, making her freeze and step back. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean-" I tried to apologize but she stepped closer towards me again, taking my hand and placing it on her lower back again, then placed hers on my shoulder, our other hands holding onto one another. We swayed for a while and I twirled her, she laughed and I smiled. We slowed down to the rhythm of the music and she rested her head on my chest.

"You dance beautifully." I complimented her dancing, and she smiled, looking up into my eyes again. "Who taught you?" I asked and her smile disappeared for a millisecond, then she smiled again and shook her head. She opened her mouth to speak but got interrupted by one of the musicians who walked up to us. He handed me a bouquet of flowers. "Thank you." I thanked him and he ran back towards the rest of the band to pack up.

"These are for you dream girl." I said, handing her the flowers. She closed her eyes and smelled them before smiling. "Thank you pretty boy." She thanked me.

In our last remaining seconds of our five minute date, we just stared at one another, our faces merely inches away from one another. She was up on her tip toes and my eyes were now closed. I could feel her breath on my lips and just as I was about to lean in to taste her..

"Up! Your time is up!" She exclaimed with a cute laugh, making me roll my eyes but then smile immediately after.

I looked up at the setting sun. "Let's get you home then." I said.

"No!" She yelled out. "I mean..."

"What's wrong?" I asked in confusion.

She looked down sadly but then quickly made eye contact again and smiled softly. "I could just walk. It's okay."

There was something strange about how she'd act sometimes, like she was hiding something but at the same time that seemed almost impossible, she was one of the most confident girls I've met, perhaps the only one.

"Walk? Alone? No way! I'll drop you." I insisted.

She hesitated for a moment then nodded and walked towards the car, making me follow from behind.

I opened the door for her and she climbed in. I walked around the car and climbed in too.

I inhaled deeply, about to start the car. "Shit!" She cursed underneath her breath, slightly frightening me.

"What's wrong?" I asked with great concern.

"My flowers! I think I left it behind." She held her head in her hands.

"Don't worry, I'll run back and get it." I said trying to get out again but she pulled me back. "Thank you, thanks for everything. It's been the loveliest five minutes of my entire life." She thanked me. "Anything for you dream girl." I told her, kissing her hand softly.

She blushed with a smile and I smiled back at her before stepping out the car and running back to where we had danced.

I looked around and asked if anyone had seen it but the bouquet of tulips weren't anywhere. No one had seen it. The flower shop had closed so I couldn't get her a new one. I didn't want to see her sad either. I spotted some small flowers on the side of the street and picked them. Once I've picked enough, I ran back to the car and got in.

"I couldn't—"

I found myself alone in the car. She was gone. She just disappeared. Okay Cinderella, I thought to myself.

I noticed that she had left me one of the tulips which were in her bouquet, along with a piece of paper with her number on it.

I couldn't believe it at first. She left her number behind! I smooched the piece of paper before starting the car and driving home.

All the way I couldn't stop thinking about her, her smile, her laugh, her body swaying alongside mine, her head resting on my chest, her hands in mine. Everything about her was fascinating. I really liked her and it almost seemed impossible that a girl as perfect as her would go on a date with someone like me, a Harry Potter nerd.

My phone chimed with a notification, another Instagram comment on my latest picture which Luke had taken of me earlier today. I didn't understand why Luke had put me on this crappy app but it was starting to get really annoying. I turned my phone on silent and pulled into the driveway of the big mansion.

I entered the house to hear laughter and chattering. I followed it into the dining room and saw dad and a younger looking lady sitting opposite one another at the dining table.

"There's my son!" Dad exclaimed once he noticed my appearance.

"Hi dad." I said walking towards him and the lady.

"I didn't expect you to be back so early." He admitted nervously.

"I only had five minutes dad!" I complained jokingly and he chuckled.

"Five minutes huh?" The lady asked with a smirk, which slightly reminded me of dream girl's.

"Yeah, uhm I'm Troy." I introduced myself, stepping closer to the table and putting my hand out for her to shake.

"I'm Anna, Anna Peters." She introduced herself, shaking my hand. A charming smile plastered on her face. There was definitely a resemblance there. Or maybe I was just so in love, that I had started seeing her face in everyone else's.

"So son, when shall I have the honors of meeting this feisty girl who has my son wrapped around her little finger." Dad asked.

I turned to him again. "Don't be silly dad, it's only been five minutes. Literally." I joked.

He grinned before taking again "Silly or not. I'll definitely meet her very soon, that's for certain." He glanced at Anna and she smiled at him in approval.

Okayyy then.

"I have to get to bed. I have school tomorrow. It was nice meeting you Anna. Goodnight you two." I excused myself before walking away to my room.

I placed the tulip on my bedside table and collapsed into my bed, pulling my phone out of my pocket and quickly adding the number she had given me, to my contact list
