"Honey! We're home!" Theodore jokingly called out to everyone who were in the penthouse as he and the girls dropped all their bags down in the living room considering they were now living there with their friends.

"Wow it's not like you can do that louder is it?" Isabella turned to the tall and older teenager with her eyebrows raised joking along with him as she fed Nathaniel his milk and luckily for her the baby already had his nap so she did have to worry about his yelling.

"Hey it's the first day of senior year. Can't blame us for being just a bit excited for that." Theodore shrugged with a small chuckle as the girls rushed over to Isabella looking over to the adorable baby in her arms.

"Yeah well for you guys it is senior year but for the rest of us it's the first day of freshman year." Isabella nodded over to Theodore with a small grin as she handed the best friend duo the baby knowing how much they loved him too while everyone gathered in the living area hearing extra voices.

"Well it's good you four took the pre-college program so it won't be that confusing." Nikki looked over to the slightly older teenagers remembering how they spent all their summer in the program.

"That's true. Plus we got friends on the campus so if anything they could help us." Joshua agreed, explaining how they would make their way around their now college campus and if anything they could always ask Jasmine, Charlotte, and Andrew as he leaned on the couch.

"One thing I'm good with is that we get to choose what days we want to attend." Skylar shrugged with a small smile enjoying the fact the four of them even though they chose mostly different classes but they did get one same one. "But was it a good idea to have them the same day?" Holden asked the three considering they do still have part time jobs and other responsibilities to fill aside from school.

"Oh crap."

"What's up?" Francesca questioned Isabella after she let out a small comment which did catch everyone's attention. "I just realized this is my first time in actual school to study, you know aside from helping Cory in the classroom." Isabella dropped her shoulders seeing the new sort of stress this may have as she handed Nathaniel his toy but this just made her think how she would have to be used to studying in person instead of a computer screen.

"How long has it been since you've been in public school?" Theodore looked over to the raven haired girl considering he realized they never really asked her. "Literally almost six, seven, years now. Oh gosh I'm actually going to talk to other people." Isabella responded widening her eyes quite a bit before she stood up moving Nathaniel to his play area as the whole group including her laughter together at her joke.

"You guys are going to have to take notes and show us how things are over there considering we're gonna apply there." Nikki reminded the four considering they had agreed even before everything they would be attending the same university.

"Will do. And speaking of going somewhere remembering you guys are taking my brother to school with you. Connor wake up! You're gonna be late for class!" Skylar chuckled over to the girl before reminding the high school seniors who nodded towards the blonde.

"I'm ready! No need to yell!" Connor yawned as he walked out the theater room having them all turned to him in confusion especially the older teenagers considering they never heard him go in there.

"Why were you in the theater room?" Holden furrowed his eyebrows towards the youngest teenager, seeing as they all thought he was in his room all night not downstairs in the theater room.

"Hey yesterday was the last night of summer, gotta have a movie marathon at least." Connor shrugged with a smile as he rocked back and forth with his eyes half closed having his older sister roll her eyes knowing he would be tired the whole day.

"Go brush your teeth. Theo is going to drive you guys to school." Skylar slapped her younger brother with a pillow that Franseca handed her which she gestured for.

"Ugh why does this school have to start this late?" Connor complained as he slowly made his way to the staircase so he could go to his bath room.

"You're in an hour difference." Isabella furrowed her eyebrows as she looked over to her best friend's little brother who took every step very slowly trying not to rush himself.

"I'm actually going to have to babysit him till he graduates. Ugh!" Skylar huffed with a head shake as she headed to the kitchen having everyone softly chuckle towards the blonde before Holden followed after her.

"Oh speaking, taking care of someone. You guys are going to help Riley, Maya and their friends, right?" Joshua knowing that his niece and Isabella's sister along with their friends wouldn't know how high school would be.

"Oh trust us we have everything handled." Theodore nodded over to the couple as he shared a smile with Nikki and Francesa as they three knew exactly what they were going to do.

"Okay we're not sure what that means but we gotta go. We have to drop off Nathaniel with my mom before going to class." Isabella furrowed her eyebrows sharing the confusion with Joshua since the two had no idea what they were planning.

"Yeah you guys do you just make sure they're safe along with Connor." Joshua explained to the three shaking his head before he headed over to Isabella helping her with Nathaniel and his items.

"See you guys later." Isabella waved at them as she took her and Joshua's bag while Joshua had Nathaniel and his bag soon enough they were out the door.

"Should we have asked them?"

"I think we should have but I also think we would have more questions."

"True."

"Come on you can do this." Jasmine tried to assure Isabella who was face down on the bed in her and Charlotte's dorm room after she finished most of her classes.

"I know right now it's fine it's just. . . wow I'm so not used to having none of you there with me." Isabella agreed with her knowing it wasn't the classes that were on her mind but the fact that she had to be on her own and she had to admit over the three years she hasn't been used to being alone.

"Hey I know what you mean. When Charlotte and I got here we barely had any classes together. It was so freakin' weird not being next to each other." Jasmine patted Isabella's shoulder remembering how difficult being in a new place and most time not being with her best friend.

"It literally is because since everything I don't really remember being on my own just for it bit. . . now that I'm saying that it sounds so sad." Isabella sighed before she took in her words which had her to lift up her head staring at the wall in front of her.

"I'm actually kind of glad you got people you feel comfortable to have by your side cause you even told us before making up with Joshua and meeting Skylar and Holden you were pretty much on your own. Having people around you is a good thing." Jasmine smiled as she leaned back on her bed looking over to the raven haired girl.

"I know that I guess if just one simple day is worrisome for me then how is it going to be for Maya and her friends." Isabella sat up seeing her point but she knew all her mind was on was the friend group.

"Come on, Vicky, I'm sure they're totally fine. I mean Theo and the girls are going to look after them, no? Plus you can't always take in their worries and make them yours. It's not going to help them and most definitely won't do anything for you." Jasmine tried to have her friend understand her plus she could see what she was doing.

"I know, I know, I can get used to this which it's not very hard, just different. And I'll make sure to just focus on the work won't be that difficult." Isabella tried to make it sense in her mind knowing she would have to focus on her own schooling rather than the others.

"Yeah you know what would have made your school time easier? If you listened to Andrew, Charlotte and me and did not take an extra class in your freshman year." Jasmine nodded over to Isabella with a sarcastic smile as she started to fix up her bag considering their class would start soon.

"Hey it's just one extra class, what's going to be the harm in that?" Isabella shook her head with a small shrug getting her bag as the two headed out the dorm room but Isabella really didn't see what could happen.

"Girl it's barely the first day you don't see what this extra class can do to you during the whole school year." Jasmine raised her eyebrows remembering how her, Charlotte and Andrew saw what happens with it and the stress that it came with.

"It's just one extra one in the morning and I need as many credits as I can get. I have a kid to take care of." Isabella looked over her friend who couldn't help but give her a look with a head shake knowing how this would go.

"You're going to see what we mean in no less than a week and when you do I'm not gonna feel bad saying "I told you so", okay." Jasmine held her hands up explaining what might happen as the two guided their way through the groups of students around them and though she knew Isabella would try to do her best it does get people stressed out.

"Ugh fine you can say that." Isabella huffed knowing she was only going to go more into detail if she didn't stop the conversation now thought Isabella knew she was going to hear more of it later on.

"Oh honey I wasn't asking. Just telling you early."

"Yay. . ."

"Here you go girls this should help you." Katy set down two smoothies for Isabella who decided to finish up her homework outside of Topanga's along with Skylar while Joshua and Holden stayed back with Andrew who was helping them.

"Thanks Mama Katy." Skylar thanked the older blonde as she took the smoothie and she was grateful that it was her favorite strawberry smoothie.

"Thank you Mama. You know you don't have to keep taking care of Nathaniel, we can take care of him while you work." Isabella smiled towards her mother before she offered Katy seeing as she was carrying around Nathaniel in a baby straddle.

"Oh it's fine baby you guys just get your work done and relax." Katy grinned, making Nathaniel giggle before she entered Topanga's while the two best friends shared a look with one another.

"You think that your mom loves being a grandma a bit too much?" Skylar raised her eyebrows over to her best friend after she was sure that Katy was inside the cafe.

"Yeah I know and I'm glad she does but this does make me nervous and a bit scared. I feel like literally everyone is waiting for Josh and I to announce something." Isabella sighed, setting down her pencil as rubbed her head seeing how much Katy loved having a baby around.

"Oh a baby or a wedding up next?" Skylar teased her best friend with a small smirk knowing all the talk the adults had for Joshua and Isabella though some of the time it was just for laughs they had to admit they were excited to see what was up for them.

"I know you are joking but that actually has been a conversation. Josh's parents are wondering if he'd pop the question soon. . . you know after not chasing him down after finding out about the tattoos." Isabella explained to the blonde remembering how Joshua was telling her about what his parents were thinking about.

"Ugh don't remind me about that. My parents literally freaked out for hours after not only finding out Holden and I got married but I had tattoos." Skylar huffed, setting her drink down as she rubbed her head remembering how that night was being handled with all the situations happening.

"I guess they were more upset about not knowing than you actually doing. This being for both situations." Isabella leaned back on her chair as she commented remembering the expressions from their parents.

"And you're right. They were more upset with not being at the wedding, which we don't even remember clearly doing, or being there with me at least for the first one." Skylar agreed with her best friend as she leaned back on her chair as well thinking back to the conversation she had with her parents.

"And it's a good thing you explained the meaning behind them so they understood more." Isabella added in knowing the meaning the tattoos Skylar had were for her and how special you were.

"Good thing they let me explain. Also now thinking about it I didn't ask before but how was your guys' trip?" Skylar nodded over to Isabella seeing as she was glad her parents let her explain at least but then she remembered she had something to ask.

"It was so fun. It was amazing to just be having the three of us by the beach and oh my gosh seeing Nathan taking his first crawl was so adorable. We played music, had our own small dance party and had so much beach fun. " Isabella grinned looking back how they spent their summer and it felt very special to them.

"It sounds like you guys had a lot of great family time but the question is did the two of you have your own fun time?" Skylar commented before she had a smirk playing on her lips knowing that Joshua and Isabella could have had their own adventure after Nathaniel was sleeping in his crib they took.

"You can put that smirk away. No, we didn't do what you are thinking about." Isabella shook her head as she pointed towards the blonde whose smirk turned to a frown quickly.

"How come?" Skylar frowned knowing though the vacation was a family time the couple was also planning some romantic moments together.

"Well it was more about spending time together and we could only really afford a beach house with one bedroom so. . ." Isabella tried to explain what happened and though she and Joshua wanted some more time alone they were okay with just having family time.

"Ugh this was supposed to be both a family time and a romantic time for you both." Skylar huffed crossing her arms which had Isabella chuckling considering she seemed more upset than her and Joshua.

"Don't worry I'm sure we will soon." Isabella nodded with a small laughter as she placed her hand on Skylar's shoulder who was grumbling but soon just joined Isabella laughing.

"Also on the topic of couples, how is it being married?" Isabella asked the blonde with a small smile seeing as the couple did actually get married.

"Well it still just feeling like we're us and I kind of like that it just feels right but we did always invision us having an actual wedding ceremony and the party so we're going to wait a bit before we do all of it." Skylar smiled thinking about how everything has been so far but all in all they wanted a day to be theirs and they're fine with the wait.

"I'm sure it's going to be an amazing day for you guys when it comes to it." Isabella agreed with her best friend as she knew that they would have their moment and special day.

"I hope so and good thing for the wait though because it gives me time to plan. Maybe something classic or princessy." Skylar nodded knowing what she hoped to wear and the decorations around, she was always glad that she and Holden had a similar way they wanted their wedding.

"Have you ever planned what your wedding would be like?" Skylar looked over to Isabella wondering if it ever crossed her mind how she would picture her wedding.

"When I was little I literally planned every single thing. At some point I wanted a kind of big wedding but I always pictured an outside wedding maybe in the Spring." Isabella smiled as she looked ahead almost like she was picturing how everything would look like.

"Well it's a good thing that we have an idea of what we want so it won't be that difficult." Skylar chuckled seeing as it seemed that they both had an idea which did have Isabella to join in.

"Oof almost forgot we still got work." Isabella shook her head looking down at the assignments they had to finish for the next time they go to class and she also reminded Skylar who had her eyes wide.

The two talked here and there as they got their assignment of course they talked considering they could really not do work without talking to each other but it seemed as they wouldn't get it done anytime soon as someone decided to join in.

"I have an announcement for you both." Connor startled the girls as he walked down to the cafe placing his arms over their shoulders with a grin.

"I thought you were at the penthouse." Skylar furrowed her eyebrows looking up to her younger brother wondering why he was out in the cafe knowing he would rather be inside building things.

"I was but I finished my assignments which may be something you want to try and do." Connor shrugged as he sat on the bench beside them though he did have to annoy his sister before anything which seemed to work.

"So what do you have to tell us?" Isabella raised her eyebrows towards the younger teenager considering Skylar huffed rolling her eyes annoyed at her younger brother.

"I had made some friends." Connor smiled as he leaned back on the wall while the two best friends looked over to him in surprise considering he got friends so quickly.

"Really? That sounds great." Skylar asked him, seeing as she knew her younger brother was a people person but he never really made friends that quickly before.

"Well kind of." Connor nodded slowly as he thought about how everything seemed to go as soon as he was invited to the friend group.

"How come?" Skylar furrowed her eyebrows wondering why her brother seemed a bit hesitant but what was confusing was that he knew how to have good friends so he was kind of confusing her.

"They got into an argument and kind of broke off." Connor responded thinking back to how his whole day ended up being but all he could do was follow what they were doing.

"So what did you do?" Isabella looked over to Connor in question which was exactly what Skylar was wondering so the two leaned in hoping he would actually explain a bit more.

"I went with the group the pretty girl who is smart was in. That's all bye." Connor shrugged answering the girls but then he just stood up and left them with still a lot of questions.

"A pretty girl who is smart?" Skylar questioned looking over to her brother's retreating steps before turning to her best friend who was staring at her almost like asking what her brother was talking about.

"What? He's the one that needs to explain more. I got crap out of everything."

ღღღ

"So why did you guys tell us to pass by here before our third class?" Holden asked Jasmine and Charlotte who guided him and Skylar to their dorm.

"Oh we're just hoping if you can explain to us this." Charlotte shrugged slightly with a small smile before Jasmine opened the dorm revealing Isabella and Joshua sleeping on the floor of the dorm room with their hair all messed up.

"How long have they've been here?" Skylar furrowed her eyebrows as they all entered the dorm room with confusion not even noticing they were there before.

"Oh Josh was here talking with Andrew while Vicky went to her first class but once she came back and Andrew went to class they immediately got to sleep." Jasmine explained what was happening when the couple got there yet they weren't sure what to do.

"Yeah they wake up when they have to go to class but once they have a small break they come back here and sleep." Charlotte added in considering the couple has been coming back and forth which every time they got to the dorm they had a quick nap.

"You know this may be because Nathaniel is teethening all day yesterday they were trying to get him to sleep but he was crying all day Josh had to go out and get some teethening toys." Skylar nodded remembering how the other day Isabella and Joshua were freaking out.

"Okay that explains these two but how come you two don't look so tired. When a baby cries everyone hears it." Jasmine turned to the couple with confusion still playing on her face as she didn't see why they were full of energy.

"They sent us to our rooms." Holden answered with a small sigh as he told them what the couple who was currently sleeping said to them though that didn't help the girls.

"What?" They questioned furrowing their eyebrows wondering how or what really happened last night.

"We were going to help them but they told us it was okay and literally shoved all of us into our rooms saying, "You guys go to sleep you have to wake up early" and that was it." Skylar dropped her shoulders with a head shake as she placed her arms on her hips recalling what happened the previous night.

"It's only the third day of college. Plus we told her the extra class can get overwhelming especially for freshmen." Charlotte crossed her arms looking over to the couple who was still in a deep sleep not even moving a bit after hearing their voices.

"Did these two forget that they're not your guys' parents?" Jasmine questioned the couple as she pointed over to them wanting to know if their friends all of a sudden thought they had more kids.

"Yeah you know I think that just flies their minds now. They have been focusing on school and making sure Nathaniel is okay. . . one time I tripped and they gave me a candy, it was a good one though." Holden went on explaining them more but that just surprised and confused them more so.

"That is sad and this is a wake up call. Wake up!" Jasmine nodded over to him before she looked over to the sleeping couple yelling at them to wake up.

"The milk is in the fridge!" Isabella exclaimed as her and Joshua quickly sat up hearing the yell but once they noticed where they were they could help but sigh.

"What time is it? Did we miss a class?" Joshua questioned as he ran his hands through his hair while Isabella was trying to wake herself up though it wasn't easy considering she barely even was able to sleep.

"A couple minutes before we have to go to class and no." Skylar shook her head letting the couple know they were fine but the ones that were already awake sat down on the beds waiting for the two.

"You guys are taking in too much and it's just the third day of classes." Charlotte looked over to the couple who were barely able to keep their eyes open but the rest of them were ready for the couple to disagree.

"No we're totally fine just a bit tired." Joshua waved off their concern as he and Isabella stood up with almost assuring smiles though they could all see through that and for other reasons.

"So why is Bells swaying side to side as if she has a baby in her hands?" Holden raised his eyebrows pointing to Isabella who was pretending her bag was a baby having her stop before looking down in her arms.

"I'm just used to doing this." Isabella tried to find a reason with a nervous smile before she put on her backpack normally but the couple was getting raised eyebrows from their friends.

"Look we totally got this all handled." Joshua turned to their friends trying to assure them as he wrapped his arm over Isabella's shoulder trying to keep them both up.

"What you two got is stress and too much on your plate." Jasmine crossed her arms looking at the couple who shared a look with one another knowing they were right but at the same time they had gotten used to everything.

"It's just the first couple of days of school it hasn't been a week." Isabella had explained knowing the first couple days of a new place would always be challenging for anyone.

"You guys need help!" The four shouted at the couple which did really wake them up that was for sure but they really couldn't disagree.

"Look guys Belle's mom is going to babysit Nathan for a couple hours longer so we can get some assignments done. . . which we really didn't really ask and now I'm getting worried cause my parents want to facetime to see Nathan more." Joshua let the four know that they didn't have much to worry about but then he thought about how his parents and Isabella's parents were getting.

"I'm telling you it's like they're expecting for big news soon." Isabella turned to her boyfriend reminding him of a talk they had and though they do see it in their future they don't know what their parents are thinking about.

"And I don't want to say it but you guys were right about the extra class. I'm going to change it out later this week." She looked back to her friends knowing what they were saying was true which had Jasmine and Charlotte turn to each other before turning back to the couple.

"We told you so!"

"Yeah yeah let's get our classes."

ღღღ

"Hey, May, what's going on?" Isabella smiled softly as she walked into her younger sister's room after talking to their mom at Topanga's who said she was going through a hard time.

"I really wished we didn't go to high school." Maya sighed lifting up her head from her pillow hearing her older sister's voice and seeing how she was having her day Isabella instantly moved over to her.

"Why does growing up have to be so hard?" Maya pouted as she laid her head on Isabella's head thinking back on how the first couple of days already messed with her friend group.

"I guess it just wants to prepare us." Isabella shook her head knowing exactly what Maya meant and when she was looking at her sister she could see how much those days have impacted her.

"Wish we didn't have to grow apart from people." Maya looked down trying her best to not let her tears drop considering she had already thought she left enough out earlier but she could already feel tears down her face.

"I get it but hey May don't worry because the right people are always going to come back and I have a feeling you chose the right people." Isabella brought Maya in for a hug knowing she needed one but she also knew her sister made an amazing choice.

"Love you Iz."

"Love you too May."

"Want to go to Topanga's and get a smoothie?" Isabella turned to her sister knowing she may feel a bit better after having her favorite smoothie and snack.

"Always up for a smoothie." Maya chuckled softly as she wiped her tears away going over to grab her jacket before the two headed out.

The two made their way through the busy city sharing laughter with each other and catching themselves up with what's going on in their lives since it's been a while since they have had a catch up moment with each other.

Soon enough the two got to the cafe of course they saw Katy over the counter making Nathaniel laugh having the sisters share a look with each other before they chuckled heading to their mom.

"Ma, you do realize at some point you're going to have to let Iz take Nathan home." Maya reminded their mother seeing as she had wanted Nathaniel around all the time and they could see she loved being a grandmother.

"Oh don't worry eventually she can." Katy chuckled glancing over to her daughters before turning back to Nathaniel but later on frowned seeing Isabella holding Nathaniel.

"Fine I'll get to work." Katy huffed before grabbing her notepad going over to the customers having the sisters laugh with a head shake heading over to their favorite seats after they got their smoothies.

"I can see why you and Josh think she wants another baby around." Maya nodded over to her older sister seeing the point her and Joshua made.

Isabella agreed with her sister before the two went back into their own conversation but of course they often got distracted by Nathaniel though who couldn't.

Moments passed and as it was getting dark people started to leave until it was only the sisters, Katy and Nathaniel left though it seemed someone didn't quite get the memo.

"Oh sorry sir but we're closing now." Katy turned to the entrance seeing a tall man enter the cafe having many emotions playing on his face while the girls looked over to him in confusion considering they never saw him around.

"Uh yes sorry I'm Liam, I was just looking for someone and a friend of mine said that they come here a lot." The tall man probably in his early twenties tried to explain to Katy while Maya and Isabella shared a shrug turning to Nathaniel.

"Well, who may that be?" Katy shook her head offering a small smile hoping she could remember someone he might mention though it would be tough considering lots of people pass by.

"Oh her name is Isabella Torrez." Liam responded to Katy which had the three quickly turn to him with confusion considering neither of them ever really met him.

"That would be me." Isabella handed her sister Nathaniel as she stood up while Liam instantly turned to her and Isabella was hoping she'd recognize who he was but she was sure she'd never met him.

"You're Isabella?" Liam asked with a hopeful expression which wasn't helping Isabella at all it was only bringing more confusion but she did nod.

"Hi, I'm Liam Carter and I think we may be siblings."

"Excuse me, what?"
