I keep checking my watch to see the time and this stranger is by my side saying God knows what as my mind was totally off him.
" I am begging you to please let me help you. I'm sorry for what I said. I know you're in a hurry. So, please". He said. Seeing I don't have any other option. I hopped in and let him did the job of closing my door. He went to his side and entered closing his door instantly revving the engine to life.
" Thank you for letting me help you".
I'm the one to said that to him actually but nevertheless I'll go with that.
" Well, you are welcome". I said looking outside the window.
"So, do I get to know your name?". He asked.
" No". I said.
" Wow. You are really a straight forward person".
" Well, I don't like beating around the bush. So, yes I am a straight forward person". I said still looking out.
" Please though. Just your name". He pleaded.
" My name is Hannah. Born and brought up in kaduna State and a final year student in kasu". I said all that still looking out.
" Wow. I wasn't expecting you to say all that but thank you". He said.
" Well, young man.... I shifted my gaze now to his face, I like disappointment". I said keeping my eyes on him and God of mercy, is my face on fire.
" You know, pictures last don't you". He said and I became embarrassed of myself. He caught me ogling. I again shifted my gaze out.
" By the way my name is Alameen. I based in Abuja. I came here to meet someone". He said and I couldn't say a word as I'm still in shame. I didn't say anything till we arrived in school.
