Claude said

Athanese flinched when he saw the annoyed look on claude's ikemen face
" Y-yes your majesty ? "
Athanese asked unknowingly sluttering. He pulled felix sleeve so that he can bring him a little near to claude
" Can't you walk by yourself "
Claude asked. Athanese nodded his head in response and signaled Felix to put him down. Felix glanced at Athanese and worriedly put him down. Athanese shifted a little since his wounds on his legs were giving him a hard time to walk.
Athanese just smiled to hide his pain and asked as politely as possible
" Come here "
Claude said . Athanese tried to walk but after taking two steps he lost his balance and fell.
' shit .... I messed up '
Athanese though as he tried to stand up but he couldn't stand up at all
" I.... I am sorry "
Athanese said. He knew he didn't do anything wrong but maybe it was his habit or something else but he just felt like he should apologize. Claude stared at Athanese who was struggling to stand up. Claude sighed and picked him up. He gently threw him beside the now sleeping Athanasia.

Athanese was scared when he raised him up for the second time and felt like this would be the last day he lives but when he came in contact with surprisingly comfy and soft bed , he felt relaxed. He glanced around and saw Athanasia sleeping soundly with a smile plastered on her face.
' She is probably dreaming about Diana. '
Athanese thought as a smile came on his face when he saw his sister sleeping so peacefully. He then felt like he forgot something . He looked around and saw Claude staring at him
' i-is my head finally gonna fall of my n-nape '

Athanese didn't notice that his sleeves and pants has moved up a little while getting thrown in the bed. His bandages and bruises were now revealed. Claude narrowed his eyes at the sight of this state his son is in

Claude asked sternly
" W-what your majesty ? "
Athanese asked confusedly and when he caught the glimpse of his hands he felt scared. Scared of what claude will do to him.
*gulp*
" A-ah , t....this "
Athanese said sluttering. Felix had a frown on his face as he watched the rare interaction between father and son.
" It's nothing much your majesty "
Athanese said while pulling down his sleeves .
" Don't ignore my question . I asked who did this ? "
Claude ordered with authority clear in his voice
" M....my etiquette teacher "
Athanese replied while looking down ashamed. He felt like he would get hit or maybe killed when he saw Claude reaching for him but when claude patted his head , Athanese felt an unknown feeling of warmth wash over him.
Without realizing , Athanese had tears pouring out of his eyes nonstop . He tried to rub it off but he couldn't , he just stayed there crying while his head was facing down with shame.
" I .... I am sorry "
Athanese finally croaked out these words while crying. Felix and Claude watched him .
' why are you the one to apologize when you did no wrong .. your highness '
Felix thought.
" So troublesome sleep "
Claude said as he casted a sleeping spell on Athanese. Athanese went to sleep and dreamt . Dreamt about diana .
" Felix , why did I not know about this"
Claude said as he glared at felix
" His highness told me not to mention about this to you , Your majesty "
Felix replied as he looked down ashamed
" Go and take care of him after this"
Claude said and Felix nodded his head in response.
" It seems like the princess is having a nice sleep "
Felix stated and he glanced over the prince who just fell asleep. Athanese has a neutral expression over his face while sleeping
" The prince looks similar to your majesty when sleeping "
Felix said and chuckled little
" You're full of nonsense these days "
Claude replied as he played with Athanese's hair and used his magic to heal his wounds. Felix just chuckled again .
' the prince will surely warm up to his majesty soon '
Felix thought with a small smile painted on his lips while looking at Athanese sleeping peacefully.

Two years later
The twins have grown splendidly , after claude decided to punish that etiquette teacher and the maid , it became clear to everyone that they both are treasured by the Emperor equally.
Now , cute little Athanese is getting dragged by Athanasia to visit claude because she wants to eat some snacks and when she goes there with Athanese there would be more sweets so that's why now our prince is getting gently dragged by his older sister .
" Athy please slow down "
Athanese said and Athanasia nodded her head. They walked there hand in hand. Athanese smiled when he caught the glimpse of his overly excited sister.
Athanese and Athanasia now stand at same height. Athanese doesn't get sick as often as he used to and he is a healthy child. Athanese has also been getting magic lessons and has always been praised for it.
When they reached Claude's room , Athanasia barged in and smiled happily
" You're here "
Claude said as he glanced at Athanasia who ran up to him cutely
" All of a sudden I wanted to see papa this , thiiis much ! "
Athanasia said as she stretched her hand to show how much she wanted to see him

Athanasia asked and when Athanese didn't reply they two looked at Athanese who was spacing out and looking at the ceiling mindlessly.

" Hmph , seems Athanese didn't want to come "
Claude said as he looked at Athanasia and smirked

Athanasia said as she pouted and shook Athanese .

Claude just sighed and told the servant to bring the snacks.
When the servant brought over a tray of sweets , Athanasia's eyes brightened and she was literally drooling over sight of the sweets

Claude asked as he looked at Athanasia who is drooling over the sweets. Athanese just chuckled and replied
" It's tastier because she is eating with you Father "

Athanasia mentally cheered and started stuffing the sweets inside her cute chubby cheeks. Athanese also started eating his own cake in small bites.

Athanasia said as she stuffed a cake inside his mouth. Athanese cheeks were puffed when she stuffed that cake inside his mouth.
' Kyaahhh !! My brother literally looks like an ultra level ikemen '
Athanasia said as she stuffed another cake inside her mouth and stared at Athanese who was having difficulty chewing . Both of them were chewing the desserts with cheeks puffed like chipmunk.
" It always suprises me you two don't have chubbier cheeks "
Claude said as he smirked a little

Athanasia thought as she looked at Claude who was taking a sip of his tea elegantly.
" You didn't meet anyone in the way here , did you ? "
Claude asked to the twins
" Meet someone , who ? "
Athanasia replied. Athanese was just staring in the air and just pretended he didn't exist when he wasn't able to take part in the conversation
" If you didn't meet them that's fine , you two should continue to ignore them in the future "
Claude said as he took a sip of his tea.

Athanese and Athanasia thought in sync . After Athanasia was done eating her cake , she went out with felix. Athanese and claude are the only ones in the room. It's wasn't awkward but it wasn't clearly pleasant silence either.
" Father "
Athanese asked to break the silence. Claude hummed in reply
" Father , do you want to see a cool trick I learned "
Athanese asked as he wanted some praises from claude. Claude said ok and Athanese concentrated his magic to float the chair nearby.
When the chair floated , Athanese had stars in his eyes and looked at Claude expecting a praise or a head pat.

Claude thought as he looked at his son who has grown imaginary ears and a tail which was waving expectantly .
Claude smirked and patted his head
" You did good "
Claude said. Athanese leaned into his father touch and felt really nice.

Athanese said and smiled brightly. He also went outside with rose who was walking a step behind him. They two were about to strike a conversation but something caught their attention.
Athanese saw Athanasia and Felix talking with someone with white hair and noble attire. When they got a little closer , Athanese could recognize who was that man.

Rose sighed and smacked the head of Athanese

Athanese said as he caressed his head and pouted
" Pay attention to your surroundings , your highness "
Rose said and smiled . Athanese sighed and walked towards Athanasia since he could no longer avoid this situation.

Roger said as he bowed to show his respect. Athanese smiled in response
" It's a pleasure to meet you too , Sir Roger Alpheus "
Athanese said politely and did a small bow.
