BLOG ENTRY TWENTY-TWO: In two days, our school is having yet another overrated dance.
This one is sort of like prom, only a helluva lot classier. Long dresses are mandatory, as are black tuxedos. I'm at a cross roads: go and look hot as heck. Or not go and be the only one who didn't. The entire school is a buzz about it; I hear the word "ball" passed around as if it's an actual object, not an event. All the girls are showing their friends pictures of their dresses and all the guys are trying to figure out which girls to take.
It's all a mess really. I can't wait for it to be over and get my community service hours in for cleaning up afterwards.
(They should change the name to Overrated Ball.)
