We went us to his room and layed down after I took off my work clothes and put on one of Vinnie's shirts
I laid down next to Vinnie and put my head on his chest with the support of my hand.
"What's the real reason Vinnie?" I asked
"Real reason for what"
"Duh the reason you got all scared of me today" I said and he huffed placing his hand on his face
"Some guys went to your house. I'm assuming to kidnap you. Luckily I was coming to check up on you," he said
"Y/n I was scared of my life when I saw them leave your house. I thought they killed you" I heard his voice crack
I picked my head up and look at him with a tear rolling down his face and wiped it
I don't think I've seen him cry before especially like this
"Well I know what can cheer you up. How about tomorrow we go and hang out with my parents" I said and his face brightened up a bit
"Sure but I gotta tell you something about them"
He told me my parents were far away from here and a about 2 months ago the Gambino's tried to kill them over money
I was shocked but definitely not mad because Vinnie tried to save them
We decided to go tomorrow and check up on them.
*Next day*
I woke up first and got ready then woke up Vinnie and he was hard to drag out of bed to even go

We got in his car and he drove a long way out of the city
We finally got there and I hoped out the car waiting for Vinnie and when he came up to me I grabbed his hand
We went to the door and I knocked
And knocked
And knocked some more
"Vinnie you sure this is the right house?"
"I did drive them here try opening the door" he said and I did which was suspiciously unlocked
My parents always locked their door
"Hello?" I asked out while searching the house and Vinnie did the same but without the calling
Vinnie went to go search the rooms and soon called me
"Hey babe" he called from the back
"Yeah what is it" I said walking in his direction to see something horrific
It was my parents
Dead
I screamed and went up to my mom and dad hugging their lifeless bodies
They were pale and flies were flying over them like they've been sitting here for days
"Call the cops" I yelled and Vinnie did so to which they soon pulled up
They asked us questions and we answered truthfully other than why they were out here
The drive home was silent
I went to the backyard and stood out there to get myself together
"Princess are you ok" Vinnie asked placing his hand on my shoulder
"Those same guys that killed my parents tried to kill me that day" I said angry that those dots connected together
"Whatever revenge plan you have get rid of it. Your not getting involved no more with the us" he said and I looked at him in disbelief
"They literally killed my parents I have the fucking right" I yelled and he rolled his eyes
"No and that's my final decision" he said then walked off
I threw my shades to the ground and stormed off to my car and drove off
