I growl failing to get my eyeliner straight for the 7th time. I am about to just give up. Hawks came in raising a brow, "Going somewhere?"
"Clubbing"
"Ah, its Saturday. I'll get ready"
I glare, "I think I'm good. I don't want you coming. I spent literally all day yesterday with you"
Friday was literally a day of none stop proximity time. The only other thing was I gave him a shoulder rub which he just complained about because he didn't conciter it a massage. I did try to bite my tongue though. He was right. I have been kinda mean. He's not a bad guy. I'm just jealous cause he seems to get everything handed to him.
"Who are you to stop me? You said I could before"
"I changed my mind" I huff wiping off my eyeliner again
"Fine. Whatever" he rolled his eyes.
I went back to my makeup when he leaned over my shoulder, "What bird brain. You're popping my bubble"
"Man you really suck at that"
"Out if you're just gonna make fun of me"
"Hop up on the counter. I'll help" he snatched the eyeliner from me.
I shook my head but did so. He leaned forward but huffed setting his hands on my knees spreading them so he could step between them to get closer.
"Close your eyes"
I do as told. I could feel him applying it. His other hand grabbed my chin to keep me still.
"Now open" I open looking at him, "Good, I'm gonna do wings so don't flinch"
I relax trusting him. He leaned in closer fixing a line. We were just inches apart. He finally leaned back finished, "Done"
I turned to look in the mirror seeing how good the lines were. I try to turn to face the mirror more but remember Hawks is between my thighs after briefly squeezing him turning back.
"Better be careful. I could take that as an invitation" he chuckled lightly. He had a light flush while he stepped out from between.
"Sorry, just trying to turn" i check out the liner trying to mask my own flush. It was really well done. It looked nice.
"You really gonna wear that little dress?"
"I think it looks good" I scoff
"You're not wrong. Just a bit much don't you think?" He looked over the counter at my makeup
"We are going to Exive so I thought I'd dress nice"
"Its fitting" he grabbed one of my lip colors, "Wear this one"
The color matched nicely with the rest of my look so i couldn't deny it. I took it from him and applied it. I handed it back to him to put back. He smiled leaving the room seeming satisfied with himself a few seconds later.
Sus but whatever. I finish getting ready as a knock at the door sounds.
"I'll get it!" Hawks beat me to it.
"Hey, is (Y/N) ready?" I could hear Yuki at the door
"Hey baby bird, looks like your friend is here" Hawks turned to me. He was emphasizing words like friend and the random nickname
"Thank you, I'll be getting headed out"
"Wait" Hawks stopped me by the arm.
I looked at him confused until he suddenly gave me a peck on the lips, "Don't forget your lipstick incase you need to reapply" he muttered lightly placing the lip tint tube in my hand.
My face felt like it was on fire. He stood up straight and set a hand on the top of the door, "Have a good time"
I hurried out. My brain was swirling. I want to be pissed but that peck stirred something in me.
The club was loud. I was having fun dancing and having drinks. I locked on target. This guy was adorable with curly brown hair and chocolate eyes with mocha skin. He had a slight afternoon shadow that was so attractive. I dance over to him before we start dancing together.
He was fun. Little touches and looks. I I had my hands around his neck while his were on my hips dipping towards my ass.
The song changed suddenly making us change our beat. It didn't take much for he to recognize the song as "I wanna party" why does it have to remind me of that dumb bird brain.
I closed my eyes to just move to the music when I heard sudden shuffling. I turned to see the crowd parting as that same bird brain walked over.
What I originally saw as a carefree smile turned to a scowl once we locked eyes. I let my hands slide down to the man's chest. He gave my jawline a few pecks before I pushed on him and he looked up meeting Hawks glare.
"Looks like I found you chicken wing. And who's this guy?"
"What does it matter?"
Hawks stepped closer making the guy move away from me, "Trust me, this isn't a fight you'll win, now scram"
I watched the brown eyed beauty run off while Hawks turned to face me, "So playing kissy face with some other guy?"
"Hawks you know I-"
He pressed a finger to my lips darting a look to the side. I caught glimpse of the phone camera and sigh, "You trying to make me jealous?" His hands met my hips pulling me close against him.
"You haven't been paying attention to me, what do you expect" I wrap my arms around his neck, "his facial hair reminded me of yours"
"I think you just like making me jealous don't you? Want me to chase you all around town?"
"Maybe"
He leaned in meeting my lips. I turn to the side shortly after the kiss even began to end it, "Playing hard to get? You really want me to chase you" his lips went farther down leaving lazy kisses on my neck
"Right now I want you to follow me" I grab his hand and lead him to one of the back rooms.
Once the sound proof door shut I huffed, "What the hell is wrong with you?"
"What? I decided to go out. Good thing I did too. Could have been a PR nightmare if I didn't show up. And who's your little friend? Going out with some guy who shows up to the house yet when I find you, you are with some other guy!"
"I wasn't recorded or even fucking recognized until you showed up with your big ass wings"
"Are you trying to ruin my image? Talking like I'm an unattentive boyfriend? Out theoretically cheating on me?"
"What do you want me to say? Sorry?"
"Yeah, say fucking sorry" he growled
"Fine, oops I fucked up. We are both seen in a bad light currently so id say its fair. I just wanted to have fun and let loose"
"No no no, I have a better idea" he smirked messing up my hair, "You are gonna make this up to me"
I try to fix my hair frusterated, "What do you mean?"
"Just a fun little lie" he messed up my hair more, "lets make your mascara run"
"Nu-uh. Not happening. I will not have that implication on my name"
"Would you rather running mascara or ruffled dress?"
"Neither! I am not going to imply I had sex with you to the public, in a club room no less"
"So you'd rather imply you are cheating on me with whatever guy comes along? Make people think you are unfaithful?"
"No but-"
"How about mascara and dress? I'll take your panties too"
I swing my hand giving him a firm slap. He hissed in a breath cupping his cheek.
"I am supposed to look innocent, I don't need fans trying to lewd me"
"I can see you as a lot of things but innocent is not on that list"
"I..ill smudge my lipstick"
"If you just smudge it, it will look weird"
"Then what do you want?"
"leave prints like last time" he smirked shaking his head like the answer was obvious
I groan in frustration but nod. He tilted his head, "wait, I have my lip tint"
"Its gotta look real" he rolled his eyes, "This is the first showing of PDA we've had in public. I bet we have at least 7 camera trained on that door. If its not believable we'll be in hot water"
I sigh putting it away and giving light kisses along his jaw.
"Wow, you suck at this huh?" Hawks jeered, "Its like you're trying to stamp me"
"Shut the hell up" I growl meeting his lips leaving them strained the same color as mine.
I moved down to his neck. His cologne smelled good. He was warm as well. I grabbed his shirt pulling him closer. He stumbled and we fumbled against the wall now. It felt amazing just letting go for a second. I just want to feel the rush of someone against me.
I let myself indulge and bit at his neck leaving 1 good mark. Hawks jumped and backed up covering the mark with his hand, "What the hell?"
"You said make it look real. That's pretty fucking real"
"I said leave lipstick marks not a bite mark"
"Im... admittedly a little tipsy" I look away not wanting to keep eye contact embarrassed.
He suddenly dropped to his knees attracting my attention he grabbed my leg making me jump trying to put it down, "What are you doing?"
"Payback. Trust me, I'm placing it where it isn't likely to be seen"
He lifted my dress slightly and started leaving little kisses on my inner thigh.
"Hawks No" I flush deeply trying to keep my dress from flashing him. His kisses were followed by little sucks making my legs start to shake.
I grab his shoulders to keep balanced. He finally left a dark hickey on my inner thigh seemed satisfied before he ran his tongue over it.
I smack his shoulder and he let's go standing up, "Fair and square"
My face was flushed deeply by this point while I avoided eyecontact. He ran a hand through his hair and finally opened the door to the room.
I quickly fix my dress before following him. He was right about the cameras. I only caught a peek before his wing wrapped around me and he guided me through the club.
"Hawks, let me go"
"Nope. We are going home. I paid your tab before I approached you"
"We took Yuki's car"
"I've got wings. Today we are supposed to fly together anyway"
Oh fuck. I am not prepared to fly. I'm in a dress. Will everyone see up my skirt? Shit what if he drops me? God what if I'm too heavy for him?
A jacket was placed on my shoulders drawing me from my thoughts, "Its gonna be a little cold but I'll fly slow"
"Can't we just walk?"
"Itll be fine. I promise" he reassured picking me up like a princess.
"W- wait I'm heavy and-"
He rolled his eyes, "You're light as a feather"
"Im really not. You'll get tired of carrying me, and what if you drop me?"
"Then I'll catch you" he shrugged before taking to the skies.
Panic came first. I gripped his shirt scared to look down. It wasn't till a few minutes passed I finally peaked an eye open.
Everything looked amazing from this view. I tighten my grip looking at the city lights. The sheer height scared me though.
"You know it's better to look at the stars"
I take Hawks advice looking up. They were gorgeous. Being so high up the light pollution was almost none existent.
I relax letting my grip on him loosen. I heard him chuckle lightly, "Guess what?"
"Hm?" I hum turning to him
"Trust fall" his arms released me.
My panic skyrocketed. I chocked out a scream of panic flailing slightly.
I only fell for a minute before Hawks caught me mid-air.
"You should have seen the look on your face" he started laughing
Tears stung at my eyes before I started breaking down clinging tightly to him, "Please put me down, please" I choke through a sob
"Kid?" Hawks tried to look at me but I clung to him tightly burying my face in his neck.
It wasn't long till he set me down. My legs buckled making me fall on my knees sobbing
"Oh my God, kid I'm so sorry. I didn't know that would scare you so bad" Hawks apologized trying to rub my back.
"You're *hic* such an a-asshole" I choke out
"I'm so sorry. I promise I won't do it again. I was just having a bit of fun"
"That's your idea of fun?!" I shake my head trying to calm down.
"I know it was a dumb idea. I'm a bird brain right? Come on. Let's calm down" he wrapped his arms around me pulling me close, "Im such an idiot" he mumbled against the crown of my head.
"Can we just walk... please?"
"Yeah, no problem. Let's walk"
He crouched down infront of me motioning his hands back.
"What are you doing?" I wipe a few of my tears sniffling
"Hop on my back. I'll carry you"
"Im heavy"
He rolled his eyes at me and motioned me to get on again, "Come on kid. I don't want you walking in heels. The sidewalks in this area aren't the best. Anyway I owe you. Conciter me your personal pack mule for the evening"
"But your wings-"
"Trust me, they're fine. You've ruffled my feathers far worse"
I chuckle and climb on. He stood up packing me by the legs. I lazily wrapped my hands around his neck letting them hang loosely on his torso.
"Worst trust fall ever" I sigh
"But hey, you seem to be trusting me now"
"It was still a dick move"
"Im not denying" he shrugged
Alcohol, dancing, and now crying from panic all caught up to me as the adrenaline faded from my body leaving me just tired. I slowly drift off on Hawks while he walked.
