"You gon' knock? Or am I gonna have to do it?" Zee asked Alaina, an eyebrow raised.
She had finally decided to meet up with Danny and just clear the air and Zee insisted on going with her incase he tried anything funny.
"Girl relax. I was gonna do that" Alaina said.
"Says the bitch that been staring at the door for the past ten minutes" she replied smartly and Alaina rolled her eyes. She took in a deep breath and lifted up a fist to knock.
She knocked three times before the door opened a little and Danny stuck his head out.
"Lay?" He asked, confusion evident all over his face. "What are you doing here?". He opened the door even wider and Alaina's eyebrows furrowed at his appearance. His shirt appeared extremely wrinkled and he looked kinda disheveled and rumpled.
"You asked me to come- you good?" She questioned. It wasn't like Danny to be so.....off.
"Yeah. Yeah. Come in" he held the door open and stepped aside for them to come in.
"I thought you'd come alone" he said, looking at Zee. He didn't like how she tagged along. He was hoping to Alaina alone and maybe convince her that they were meant to be together.
"Problem?" Zee raised an eyebrow at him, sass evident in her tone.
"Nope. None at all" he answered.
"Mhmm" she hummed, looking around distastefully at his living room. She already knew what he wanted. She was just there to make sure it didn't happen. She didn't trust Alaina enough to leave her alone with him. After all, her best friend was quite...... sensitive. She was certain all Duffy had to do was bring up their memories together and Alaina would start doubting her decisions again.
Plus she was sure that Dipsy had somebody else in the house. She had watched a lot of movies like this. His suprise when he saw them at the door. His disheveled look. His eyes constantly darting towards the hallway that led deeper into the house. It all added up. He had another bitch in the house.
And Zee was determined to find her.
"Can I use the bathroom?" She asked, interrupting him.
"Yeah. It's right down the hall. First door to the left." he told her and she nodded. This was the perfect opportunity to scope around and find the side piece.
She quietly moved down the hall and was about to open the door to the bathroom when she heard a light thud coming from behind the door right across the bathroom.
"Fuck" a voice cursed lowly.
Ding ding ding.
She found her.

"I just honestly don't feel us anymore" Alaina explained to Danny.
"How could you say that Lay? We've been together for a whole year and you just gon' throw all that away?" He asked. "It's your ex, isn't it?"
"This isn't about Roddy, Da-"
"Remember how you cried when he left you. He left you because he didn't believe in your dreams. He didn't support you. I did. I was there for you. And now you wanna leave me for him?". He paused to grab her hands in his. "We were so perfect together. Don't do this to me" he pleaded.
"I'm not doi-"
"I love you, Lay" he said, inching closer as he held eye contact with her. She had to admit his eyes were nice.
But they weren't green. And they weren't Roddy's. That seemed to be enough to get her out of it.
"No. This isn't happening" she shook her head, standing up from the couch.
"Why not?" He asked, standing up too.
"Look Danny, you're a nice guy and all
but I just don't love you anymore. And it doesn't have anything to with my e-" she was cut off by a knock on the door.
"You expecting anybody?"
"No" Danny answered, standing up to go open the door. As soon as he did, a woman briskly walked in, a sleeping child on her hip.
"What the hell happened?" The woman asked, her free hand on her waist. Everything about her was just radiating anger. "You was supposed to pick Leia up from the day care two hours ago!"
"Woah. What's going on Daniel? Who is she?" Alaina asked, standing up.
"Daniel Dwayne Simmons, what the fuck did I tell you about bringing them bitches up in this house?!"
"Who the hell you calling a bitch? Who the fuck do you think you are?" Alaina got defensive. She'd be damned if she'd let a random woman come in and call her out her name like she knew her or something.
"I'll tell you who the fuck I am. His fiancée" she answered, showing Alaina the ring on her finger.
"Not with that ring you're not" she spat.
"Now lemme tell you sum' you bi-" the random woman, Danny's alleged fiancée, was cut off by a high pitched scream coming from inside the house. Then Zee walked out, gripping a dripping wet Naya tightly by her hair.
"Found her!" She smiled victoriously.
"You gotta be shitting me right now" The woman groaned. "Are you fucking serious Daniel?"
"Okay can someone explain to me what the fuck is going on?" Alaina asked. The plot twist had gotten a little too much for her.
"Gladly" Zee started. "See I knew Mr Hollywood was anything other than perfect so I did a little snooping around and I found this tramp hiding in one of the bedrooms" she explained and Naya gasped.
"You take that back!" She demanded.
"Shut up bitch!" Zee spat and threw her forward, making her crash into Danny.
"Now you're back to fucking with the white bitch again Daniel?" The woman asked.
"Again?" Alaina repeated.
"That's right" Naya said. "Danny and I are together. We've been for six months now". She hugged onto Daniel's arm, a smug smile on her ugly face.
"You know what? I knew you wasn't gonna change. You can say goodbye to Leia cause you are never seeing her again" his fiancée said, her voice shaking as she referred to the sleeping infant on her shoulder. She shook her head and walked out of the house.
Even though Alaina knew nothing about that woman and she had done nothing but call her names and insult her since she came in, all she wanted to do was run after her and comfort her, tell her everything was going to be okay.
"Anyway......" Naya dragged on. Zee had had just about enough of her whiney voice and if Alaina wasn't gonna beat her ass, she most definitely would.
"What you waiting for Lay? Walk your skank ass outta here". But before Alaina could even react or talk back, a sick, satisfying, crunching noise filled the air as Zee punched Naya right in the nose.
