Addison Cullen knew something bad would happen and as she spotted Isabella from across the lawn she knew she was right, Edward saw the intensity on Bella's face making him pause in his tracks as she moved towards him, their eyes meeting the look on her face practically screamed 'we need to talk' as she contuined past the group into the dark forest that borders the school. He watched her disappear in the trees and then took a step forward completely ready to follow the human until his honey-blonde brother cut him off as Rosalie tightly grabbed onto his arm "Edward please don't go" she pleaded only to be ignored. "He's already there" Alice gently removed the blonde's hand knowing her brother was too far gone to be stopped.
"Edward please don't do this" Addison tried as he began walking once again, "Edward if you do this- I'll... I'll never speak to you again" it physically hurt her to say those words knowing they would have no impact and she had already lost her brother. But it still hurt Addison when he didn't even glance back at her, he contuined moving until he was nothing but a speck in the distance. Was she really that easy to leave behind? Was her brother really done with her because he had found his blood singer? She never once shoved him to the side for Jasper. "Oh, sissy..." Alice's voice cracked as she noticed how broken her twin looked, "you know what, screw him we're skipping the rest of the day and he can walk home" Rosalie wrapped her arm around the eldest twin with something swimming in her golden irises. "I think we need a little shopping spree, and hey, we can stop at the little shop you like, you know the one with all the crystals" Addison nodded with a small smile, she was grateful for her sisters, "we are invited right" Emmett teased as they began their walk to the car.

Verdi opera was blasting throughout the house as Bella and Edward entered the kitchen where the entire family minus three were moving around the space, preparing elaborate platters of Italian pastas and antipasto, Esme rolled out pizza dough fanning tomatoes around it in an instant while Rosalie chops up some vegetables completely disinterested. Esme noticed Bella and stopped her task emanating maternal warmth, "Bella, we're making Italiano for you" Edward shoved his hands in his pockets noticing the three missing people especially Addison, he missed her but he was the one who shoved her away and now he just had to deal with the consequences. "This is Esme, my mother for all intents and purposes".
"You given us an excuse to use the kitchen for the first time, the only one who's used it is Addison when she bakes" and as if she heard him (which she probably did) Addison teleported into the kitchen scaring both the human who jumped and Emmett who hit his head against the kitchen cabinets, Rosalie couldn't control the small smirk that painted her lips when the human jumped out of her skin, she honestly loved her sister's power. "I heard my name" Isabella couldn't help but watch as the small girl moved around her family with grace that would make the best ballerina bawl but she knew that Addison took ballet classes and she saw the old newspapers on the walls from all the ballet's she had been in from Swan Lake to Faust. And her voice, oh her voice was enchanting to Bella, so sweet like the sweetest honey imaginable with a sultry tone. Isabella watched as Addison boosted herself onto the kitchen counter beside Emmett as she sipped at the animal blood she had just poured into a seafoam green travel cup.
"Seriously Addison" Carlisle warned knowing his adoptive daughter was just trying to rile her brother and the human, "oh come on she's dating a vampire, she should get used to seeing us drinking blood" Isabella felt the strong urge to add something. "It really doesn't bother me" but it did, Bella was uncomfortable at the thought of Addison drinking blood only a few feet in front of her, "Addison buys animal blood from the butchers" Carlisle added washing his hands with a dishtowel. "Mr. Derek Morgan gets baked goods every month and I get animal blood without any questions, comments, or concerns" Addison joked making her father smile glad to see her joking instead of snarling.

"Anyway I hope you're hungry" Esme smiled at the human changing the conversation "she already ate" Addison's smile dropped as she leaned against the cabniet setting down her glass "oh no" she mumbled mostly to herself as the sound of glass shattering echoed through the kitchen as the angry blonde dusted away the shards that were stuck on the fabric of her gloves "perfect" she practically growled. "I just assumed-because you don't eat you know" Isabella stumbled over her words trying to explain herself as Addison began to clean up the glass shards, "of course, that was very considerate of you" Esme replied throwing a stern look towards the blonde. "Ignore her, I do" Addison rolled her eyes at Edwards's words knowing that they wouldn't calm the blonde but only make her anger worse.
"Yes, let's keep pretending this isn't dangerous for all of us" Addison made quick work of tossing the glass into the trash can before picking up the fallen vegetables and tossing them before she moved next to Emmett a small smile tugging at her lips when he tossed an arm over her shoulder as they watched the scene highly amused. "I would never, ever tell anyone" Addison rolled her eyes once again, humans are unpredictable, it's hard to tell when she would slip up and tell someone. "Un giorno farai un errore e lo dirai a uno dei tuoi amici pettegoli" Addison chose to speak in Italian so the human couldn't understand a single word of what she was saying, "fammi un favore e sta' zitto" Edward growled making Isabella stare at the two confused.
"The problem is, you two have gone public now..so..." Emmett spoke up bringing them back to the conversation they were having before the two Cullens began speaking in another language. "Emmett" Esme warned making Addison speak up no longer staying quiet or speaking Italian "no she should know the truth, Eddie had no problem telling her the truth before so why hide anything now" Rosalie nodded at the small girl glad to have someone openly on her side of the conversation. "The entire family will be implicated if this ends badly". Isabella's reply hangs in the air uncomfortably and Addison feels the need to force Edward to look at the human because all of this was his fault. "Oh badly, like where I become the meal" Emmett choked on his laughter no longer holding back as Addison rubbed her temples feeling like she had lost several brain cells and Rosalie agreed with the brunette.

"Hi, Bella!" Addison straightened up at the sound of her twin knowing her mate wasn't too far behind "oh thank god someone sane" she muttered as Alice leaped over the rail holding a bouquet of wildflowers, Jasper following behind with less enthusiasm, Addison made sure to grab her forgotten drink as she moved towards her husband gladly accepting one of the purple flowers Alice held out for her. "Oh you do smell good" Addison almost choked on the animal blood at her sister's honest words as she leaned against Jasper's chest feeling his arms snake around her waist, "and you're Jasper right".
Isabella noticed that Jasper was uncomfortable with her presence, he wasn't acting like Addison and Rosalie were no he was just uncomfortable around her, "pleasure to meet you" he ignored her hand leaving his arms around Addison like she was an anchor keeping him grounded. "You must excuse Jasper, he's our newest vegetarian", Carlisle said making Isabella's confusion slowly disappear but she was still slightly confused. She couldn't help but watch as Addie handed him the cup like it was a normal thing, she couldn't figure out why the couple interested her so much, maybe it was because they seemed so perfect for each other, soulmates is what Edward called them, and then she wondered if her and Edward could be like them in the future.
