my body quickly sat up in bed as i held my head tightly. I wouldn't conclude that it was a hangover, but it was definitely something that the alcohol had caused last night.
Tiredly, I grabbed my phone as the bright light flashed in my face, wait why was it still dark-?
As I squinted the phone screen soon became clear leaving me to collapse back on my bed in distress.
03:23am
It was still early morning, and there was no doubt about it; I wasn't getting back to sleep.
Next to me lay Chaeyoung, still looking peaceful and somehow still looking beautiful even though she was in a deep sleep. Would be nice to be able to relate. I chuckled to myself while trying to reach for my jumper.
Now I had moved I was quite thirsty so I attempted to climb over objects on the floor without making a noise, which somehow I managed. Now for the harder bit of getting down the stairs without falling-
There were no lights on and it was still pitch black as I tried to find my phone's torch. Why wasn't it turning on.
"Torch cannot turn on when you're in low battery mode" flashed on my screen making me throw my head back slightly in annoyance. Maybe I was going to fall then.
Soon I clutched safely onto the banister of the stairs and I stood for a moment trying to put my phone in my jumper pocket.
"What are you doing up?"
The sudden speech caused me to jump out of my skin as my right foot slipped a little causing me to start to lose balance. But before I fell a hand quickly supported my back.
"Woah careful you almost killed yourself."
"Who is it, I can't see in the dark."
"Who would you like it to be."
"Mingi." I stated satisfied with my answer, I did not want anyone but him to see me falling down the stairs and in this current messy state, good job the lights were off.
"Nope, I'm not Mingi. Guess again."
Just the fact it wasn't Mingi, caused my heart to already accelerate noticeably.
"Felix-?"
"Damn you really are a bad guesser."
When he said that I quickly knew who it was. His whisper was so unidentifiable it made me nervous.
"Jeongin..."
"So? Answer my first question."
"Which was?"
"What are you doing up."
"Oh well erm- I'm thirsty so you know."
"Wait hang on."
I heard some movement and suddenly light flashed into my eyes causing me to yelp a little. Soon though was followed by his laughter.
"Man, you really do look a state don't you."
"Shut up, it's not like I have anyone to impress."
"Anyway could you get me a drink too while you get yourself one."
"Sadly I'm not a housemaid here but, I'm sure if you walk downstairs and head to the right, you can find something called a kitchen."
"Hey, bit rude."
"And you calling me a state wasn't."
He sighed and so I sighed back immediately after him.
"Why am I even still standing here." I muttered quickly getting the light from his phone to stop shining on me.
Slowly I started to make my way down the stairs as I heard his movement following me.
"So I guess you chose to fi-"
He quickly pulled my arm pushing me back on the sofa entrapping me underneath him as my heart did a loop and my body became electrified.
"Jeongin, get off."
"You aren't like other girls are you."
"Shut up, just because I stand up to you?"
"I don't know why but every-time I say something to you I find it fun to tease you because of what you will say back to me. I find it exciting."
"If this is one of your attempts to make me fall for you it won't work."
"Oh really but... I seem to think I've already won this bargain."
"Me? You're the one who wouldn't stop kissing me in last nights dare." My tone shouted a little but I quickly lowered my voice remembering the time.
"So you're saying even though how close we are right now, you don't want to kiss me?"
The light from his phone was laying on the floor shining up onto his face as I saw his pupils dilating.
Now he was a little distracted I grabbed hold of his forearms pushing him over this time so I was pinning him down on the sofa.
"Never."
I moved closer to his face and smirked.
"Aweh has my bully fell for me."
I wanted to keep a brave face and try to pretend I wasn't effected by him.
He flinched but soon scowled trying to get out of my grip.
"Wait so the question I should be asking is, now I'm this close to you, do you want to kiss me again?" I asked him.
He looked up again and I started to smile.
"And what if I did." He said suddenly which shocked me causing my hands to sweat a little.
"What if I wanted the rumour you made to come true."
"Then I guess you will have to forget about it because that's never happening."
"What if we made a deal?"
"Another-"
"Pretend to date me for a week, properly date me, and if you fall for me in that week, then I win. However if you don't then, fine, I will leave you alone, for good."
I felt his breath touch my face on his last part of his sentence. Somehow I actually couldn't tell if he was lying when he said he wanted to kiss me.
"Fine but what are the terms, I know there will be some rules." I asked him.
"You have to do everything that a normal couple would do, you also can't tell any of your friends that it's just pretend."
"Pff and this is just for a week?"
"Just a week."
"This will be too easy, you mean I can make you stop bothering me just from doing this."
"I promise you it will be harder than you think."
