"They killed my Tara. They killed my baby girl." I hear Taras mum scream and I walk towards the voice as I look at the blood covering my skin when I reach her I see her cradling what seems to be a pile of guts
"Tara?" I whisper as I drop to the floor crying. When I reach the bar that night I walk into the bathrooms to try and get the blood off of me. But the sound of someone coming in from behind me had me spinning around
"Pam" I cry startled but she just looks at the blood staining my body
"I need you" she says before she grabs my arm and we're in a completely different country and I watch as Pam stands in a circle
"What are you doing?" I whisper trying to grab her arm but she shakes me off
"We watch Deer Hunter." a man says in a russian accent before he turns to Pam "What is your name?" the man asks and I watch as he spins the gun between Pam and another man who I'm guessing is Deer hunter
"Go fuck yourself." Pam hisses and I watch as the man smiles and the crowd goes crazy
"The lady "Go Fuck Yourself. Challenger go first." the man says before handing Pam the gun and then I realise what's happening
"Pam you can't do this" I hiss and she sighs
"I have to, now listen to me you make sure the bullet doesn't hit me" she whispers and I nod before taking a step back and I watch as the gun click
Tell me what's going to happen? I ask the voices
Move the bullet with your mind they whisper and i nod and Pam hands the gun over to the man. I know I can't let him die the first round because it would be too obvious
"I've survived 27 times." he says and I watch him smile as the gun clicks
"Twenty-eight Allah loves me. Does your god love you?" the man asks Pam and she smirks grabbing the gun back
"Nope, my god fucking hates me." she hisses before clicking the gun again and I feel the bullet move closer
"The world is ending. You need to make peace with your god." he says grabbing the gun off her
"Everyone I love leaves, everything I touch dies... so forgive me if I don't share your faith in my lord. Tell you what. Your god and my god can go to a motel and have a circle jerk for all I care. I'll be in hell having a three-way with the devil." she hisses and I feel my body tense as I feel the bullet click into place and I know this is it for him
"Your words are hollow. I can see the love and pain in your eyes. Because this feeling... right now... makes you closer to God, no? Makes you know you're alive?" the man says and I watch as he holds the gun up to his stomach and I take a sigh
"You're dead." Pam whispers looking to me and I nod quickly
"No, I'm not. I'm alive." he says but the bullet shoots him and he explodes into goo. I hear the people shout and cheer around me and Pam grab my arm as she forces me to walk up to another man
"So where the fuck's my maker?" she asks
"This is who you have to see." he says handing her a piece of paper
"We're trying to find Eric?" I whisper as we walk away and she nods. As we walk into a new place it's just as loud as the last one and looks like a market or something but Pam starts speaking a different language
Tell me what they're saying I ask the voices and they start to translate
"I'm looking for Najat." Pam states and the man chuckles
"My daughter, for you. She's not sick. Only clean blood in North Africa is child blood." he replies but then Pam switches back to English
"While your daughter does look delicious... I'll pass." Pam states though I can see the hunger in her eyes
"When was last time you feed?" the man asks
"We'll be fine. Just the information, please." I say stepping up and his eyes move over me
"What are you?" he asks and I smirk
"Just the information" I bite out and he quickly hands Pam something that looks like a map
"There must be some mistake." Pam cries before bringing the paper to her chest
"No mistake." the man states
"He would never--" Pam says and I shake my head
"Never what Pam" I hiss
"My information is accurate. What you do is your choice." the man says before storming off and I immediately follow
"What the fuck are we going to do now?" I ask when we're outside
"Not we, what am I going to do? You my precious angel are going to head back to your town and wait until I return Eric safely. I doubt he'll ever forgive me if you got hurt in the process" she whispers and I shake my head
"I'm coming" I hiss but she smiles before she disappears and I sigh
