I got her name in Secret Santa. Now I am more nervous. What should I buy for her? Are there particular things she likes?
"You seem shocked." Seulgi noticed me.
I looked at her, "I was just surprised to see who I got and I don't know what I should get for her."
Seulgi hummed, "Well, anything that comes from the heart is highly appreciated. They won't complain, I promise. Whoever that is, she will appreciate what you will give to her."
"Thank you." I folded the paper again and put it back inside my pocket. Seulgi and I are strolling around Seomun Night Market, hoping to get something for the person we picked.
"No biggie" She smiled again
"Heol, you look like a bear." I voiced out which made her chuckle.
"I get that a lot, honestly."
"No wonder your nickname is Seulbear," I said, remember what Suzy said before. "Is Irene gave you that nickname?"
She shook her head and smiled, "She wasn't. When we were in kindergarten, Hyun Unnie actually met this person before us. Then she met us, she also introduced us to her first friend. They were so close which I think is adorable before. They seem suited for each other. When she introduced us to her friend, she told me what you've said."
"What?"
"Heol, you look like a bear. That's what she said. She also gave the nickname to Irene Unnie since Unnie was like 'How about me? Not giving me a nickname?'"
"What's the nickname though?" I asked.
"It's related to Bunny since she said that Unnie looks like a Bunny. And she's not wrong. Hyunnie looks like a bunny, even now." Seulgi said. "Her nickname is -"
"Y/N?!"
I saw Soojae holding a bottle. "Heyy"
She looks at Seulgi who's standing beside me. "New girlfriend?"
"W-what? Nooo" I denied because she is mistaken.
"Wow, Y/N. I didn't know you came here in Daegu to snatch all pretty girls." Soojae acted as if she's crying. "The first time we met, you tried to ask me out. I feel bad for rejecting you since I, a beautiful girl, broke your heart."
"What are you trying to say???"
Soojae is out of her mind. Help meee!
"Then you brought a beautiful girl too, to our cafe. Is that how who showed me you're trying to move on?" Soojae faked sobs. She looked at Seulgi and held her hands. "I'm sorry because of me she's playing with pretty girls' hearts."
"Are you out of your mind?" I asked. "Are you high?"
Soojae pulled back and let go of Seulgi's hands. "Nah, just kidding. But I'm surprised to see you here."
"Hi, I'm Soojae. I was just kidding with the part of she asked me out." She said.
"But not with the part that she brought a beautiful girl in our cafe." She whispered to Seulgi.
"Yah! I heard that!" I scolded her.
"I'm Seulgi Kang, her new friend." Seulgi politely introduced herself and smiled. Soojae was stunned to see her crescent eyes.

"Are your friends all beautiful?" She tried to whisper to me. Tried because Seulgi still heard it which made her laugh. I shoved Soojae away from me.
"Yah! Why are you even here?"
"Shopping, duh" She rolled her eyes. "I was looking for my mother. She's buying something when I saw you two here. So I came to say hi."
"Honeyy" She looked in its direction and that's probably her mother.
"We're leaving now. See you and Merry Christmas." She started walking away, when she realized something, she turned her back to us again. "When you're free, take her (Seulgi) and that pretty lady to our cafe. Mmkay??"
"Mmkay"
"She seems nice" Seulgi uttered.
"Yeah, she's like Suzy." I said.
She hummed, "If we put them together in one room, it'll be a mess."
Her comment made me laugh, "I know right?"
"Do you want to split up?" Seulgi suggested.
"Sure, since I already have something in my mind. I just need to find a design that will get my attention." I agreed. "You must have something in your mind, too."
"I do," She nodded. "Then let's meet here. Let's also exchange numbers."
We did what she said. I gave her my number as she gave me hers. After that, we took separate paths.
"Seulgi seems nice." I told my parallel.
"Watching the interaction made me feel.... that she is nice." She responded. "Was she this warm and comfortable to be with? I would only look at her before as if she will take the Princess away from me, not knowing that she is the one for her. I'm not even in place to be jealous."
"It's all in the past now. We can't change it." I answered while looking around.
"But it made me realize that the Princess is in the good hands."
"Hey, do you think that the Princess will end up being with you if the wizard never came to the scene?" I asked. I'm really curious about this one so I couldn't help but ask.
"Maybe? Maybe not. There are a lot of possibilities. She can fall out of love as time goes by and fall in love with Seulgi. Or her love for me will remain. A lot can happen but we don't know what will happen in the future. But we never know it, since it's not the path we took. The path that leads her to Seulgi's arm." She said. "If we fall out of love, I would be devastated and questioned my life. I think I chose the best decision for the both of us."
"How about the one for you?" I asked.
"That's why I want to know her." She answered. "Because I feel guilty."
"How would you know if someone's your soulmate?"
"I'll tell you who it is when I confirmed it."
I stopped in front of a small store. It's a store for jewelry. I decided to buy her a necklace since I feel like I want to give her that.
"Welcome." The Old lady greeted me. I greeted her back and proceed to look at the necklaces.
"Is there any particular necklace design that you want to see?" She asked.
"Flower" I uttered without knowing. It just came to my mouth like I know that she likes it. The Old lady showed me a variety of designs. I scanned it and saw a flower necklace.

The lady nodded and picked it up.
"You chose the right design."
"I did?"
"Yeah"
"Why?"
The knight didn't respond. After paying for the necklace, the Old lady gave it to me and smiled.
"I hope you choose the right decision." She said which gave me chills. I awkwardly laugh and thanked her once I received the bag of the necklace. "Take care of her."
She said once again.
"Uhm excuse me? but who?" I couldn't help but ask. She gave me a small smile.
"Your soulmate." She said. "Now that the two of you met again, this time - it's your time. Your time to meet your soulmate came."
Our time came?
"I will. Thank you." I bowed and quickly left the store.
"Who the hell was that?" I asked the knight.
"Someone, very important"
"What do you mean by that?"
There she is, always giving me the silent treatment when I'm asking.
"There are things you shouldn't know. So I won't answer your questions."
"How about this question?" I asked, "What happened to that Dark Wizard?"
"He got reincarnated as a monkey"
It made me laugh. People around me would have thought that I've gone crazy but who cares?
"That's some nice punishment. Well deserved."
From my spot, I can already see Seulgi. She looked at me and happily waved. I waved too. She's holding a tote bag.
"I'm assuming we got what we need to get?"
I nodded, "Yes"
"On my way here, I saw street foods. I'm really hungry. Should we get something to eat?" She asked.
"Sure!"
She grabbed my wrist and dragged me with her.
Once I got home, I quickly pack what I need to bring. I took a bath after that.
I instantly laid my back on my bed. Seulgi surely ate a lot as if the dinner wasn't enough.
I took my phone and saw my Aunt's message. I remember I sent a message that I won't open the library since I'll be spending time with my friends. I have unread messages but I only opened my Auntie's.
Auntie:
Glad to know you're making friends. To your question- Of course, you can. Speaking of friends, in the storage room, there's a box there. It is yours. Get it anytime you want.
Right, I remember that I used to live here. Then mother got a job in Seoul, she has to take me with her.
I'm really tired. I'll check them after Christmas. My eyes were about to close when I remember something. I took my phone again and check Seulgi's messages.
Seulgi:
Heyy, I just got home.
Are u home alreadyyy?
Helloooo??
I replied, "Sorry, took a bath. But yes, I got home safely."
She instantly replied back, "Alrightt, good to know. It was nice spending time with you. See you tomorrow. Goodnight"
"Likewise, Seulgi. Goodnight."
