Khiry(Narrated): These partners, no. These historian figures, The knight of Treachery, the third prince of Charlemagne, & the huntress of chaste were part of my dream. If they know about the dream-like Astolfo mentioned, then maybe it was fate that put us together.
Astolfo: So, she is the chaste huntress in her time.
Khiry: Yeah.
Mordred: Does she look like this in your history?
Khiry thought about her in statue form.
Khiry: None in the history book from the description right in front of me.
Astolfo: What is the history of the golden apple?
Khiry: Lots of symbolism on apples: Both Mythology & Religious. Greek, Norse, & Celtic. There is tradition, legends, & folklore to it.
Atalanta started to wake up from being knocked out by the guards. She then looks up to the three as Khiry then sees her woke.
Khiry: Are you ok?
Atalanta looks around to see that the guards, who captured her, were gone.
Atalanta: Yeah. I'm ok. Where are the knights?
Khiry: The knights that capture you? We took care of them.
Atalanta: Really?
Astolfo: What happen to you?
Atalanta: Well, I was summoned before the first wave to try & protect the village in Siltvelt.
Astolfo: Siltvelt?
Atalanta: Yes. It is a kingdom full of demihumans. Anyway, when the first wave appeared, my master gave me a mission to protect as many as their kind. There was another human who helps me. However, when I ran up to him, his life was taken. I have managed to keep those knights from taking so many of them from a district.
Khiry: I have a feeling about that.
Khiry pulls out a symbol of the three heroes.
Mordred: That?
Atalanta: That was on one of the knights.
Astolfo: That looks like the symbol from Melomarc. Wait a minute...
Mordred: Why would Melomarc do this?
The four servants are thinking about the events of the past.
Khiry: The King.
Mordred, Astolfo, Atalanta: ?
Khiry: It all makes sense now. The king must not like the demihumans, but the queen & this noble wants to get on Siltvelt good terms. Since the noble's death, everything falls apart. The king sends his mercenary to destroy the district.
Astolfo: What about the Shield Hero?
Khiry: Maybe his distrust & hatred happened in the past with other Shield heroes.
Atalanta(Mind): Shield Hero...?
Atalanta: Of course.
Atalanta approach to Khiry.
Atalanta: Where is the Shield hero?
Khiry: Your new Shield Hero is my pen pal friend. Why are you asking me?
Atalanta: Because he was supposed to be summoned at Siltvelt.
Khiry: Sorry, but the king of Melomarc went behind the queen's back & summoned all four heroes.
Mordred, Astolfo, Atalanta: WHAT?!

Mordred: Yeah! Other kingdoms need them.

Khiry: My name is Khiry Cleveland. I'm... the new assassin.
Atalanta: You're the guy I saw in my dream.
Astolfo: You too?
Mordred: Now that you mentioned that, I have a dream about us.
Khiry: All four of us are staring at a flying fortress, right?
Mordred, Astolfo, & Atalanta look at Khiry very seriously while Khiry looks to be confused.
Astolfo: Hey, partner. About that flying fortress...
Atalanta: It is a Noble Phantasm called The Hanging Garden of Babylon.
Mordred: That Noble Phantasm belongs to the Assassin of Red. She is bad news.
A vision then pops inside his mind to see A elf-like woman with a sinister smile holding a green poison drink as she is staring at him.
Khiry: The world's oldest poisoner look like that? An elf woman with a smile to steal men's hearts?
Atalanta: Yeah.
Mordred: What does your history have her look like?
Khiry shows them a thought bubble picture of Semiramis.
Atalanta: She is very different.
Khiry: Her name is Semiramis. She is famous for personally led a party of soldiers to seize a key point in the defense, leading to the city's surrender.
Astolfo: Wow...
Atalanta: No wonder she knows tactics.
Khiry: Well, she was a queen. & a widow. She was married to Onnes, one of the king's general until he committed suicide.
Mordred: What led to his suicide?
Khiry: When King Nimus fell in love with his wife, he threatened him, causing him to hang himself.
Atalanta: Hmm... Khiry. You said the Shield Hero is your friend, right?
Khiry: Yes.
Atalanta: Very well. I will join you on your adventure.
Astolfo: Really?
Atalanta: IF... he beat me in a foot race. From here to the district.
Mordred: A foot race?
Khiry: What happens if you beat me?
Atalanta: Death.
Mordred & Astolfo: Death?!
Khiry: I accept.
Mordred & Astolfo: Partner!
Mordred: Are you crazy?!
Khiry: Do I have a choice?! Either she joins us or not. Like the king, the Red Archer has distrust in men because of her own father. Isn't that right, Atalanta?
Atalanta is surprised at Khiry when he heard her name from him.
Atalanta: You knew my name. How much do you know about me?
Khiry: I do love my history. If I have to race you to recruit you, I'll do it.
Atalanta & Khiry stand shoulder as they are getting to race each other.
Astolfo: On your mark... Get set...
Atalanta & Khiry look serious.
Astolfo: Go!
Atalanta & Khiry dashes to the district, leaving Astolfo & Mordred where they started.
Astolfo: Partner...
Mordred: Let's go.
Mordred started walking, causing Astolfo to follow. Meanwhile, Atalanta & Khiry are running fast as they are still neck & neck. Atalanta then look at Khiry.
(Note: Atalanta runs like Modern Sonic while Khiry runs like Classic Sonic))
Atalanta(Mind): He is really catching up to me.
Khiry looks at Atalanta & smiles.
Atalanta(Mind): Let's see...
Atalanta & Khiry then push their speed to their limit. However, Atalanta is a little faster than Khiry as they enter the destroyed district. they stop as Khiry took a deep breath & lets it out, then looks at Atalanta.
Atalanta: You lose.
Khiry: I know. I can't best someone who is given the title, "Goddess of Running."
Atalanta: However, I will join you on your adventure.
Khiry: Huh?
Atalanta: Normally, you would die, but seeing how much you care for your friend, who is the new Shield Hero, I will join your team.
Khiry then smiled at her. He then sends a party request to Atalanta. She then accepted.
Astolfo: Partner!
Khiry & Atalanta turn to see Mordred & Astolfo coming towards them.
Astolfo: Did you win?
Khiry: No, I lost.
Atalanta: This is a test to see if he would really die to save his friends.
Mordred: I'm glad.
Khiry, Mordred, & Astolfo then look around the district to see how it is now in shambles.
Astolfo: So, this is the district that the king destroyed.
Atalanta: Yeah. What left of it?
Mordred: You know, I wish there was some way we could help with this district.
Khiry: I know a way.
Khiry pulls out Spring Envy & then finds the spot that has the soft soil. He then found it & put it in the ground. He then runs to the others as the ground started to sprout... a flower. The ground then sprouted grass fast, all type of flowers, plants, fruits, vegetables, & herbs. It is starting to cover the district. Atalanta is astouned to see this.
Atalanta: I... You would this...?
Khiry: After what the king did, I feel sorry for what happened here. So, I decided to make it up by giving this district its green touch.
Atalanta look at the apple tree & see the green apples forming for the right picking.
Khiry: I just needed a place to get some water. Huh? What is that?
Everyone see on the apple tree a piece of stone is stuck there. Atalanta then jump & grab an ancient tablet from the tree. We then look at it & see magic writing on there.
Khiry: Let's take it back the potion shop to see if Medea knows anything about this.
((DONE! KHIREY RECRUITED ATALANTA. HOWEVER, THEY FOUND A TABLET. WHAT DOES IT SAID? UNTIL THEN, STAY SHOCKING!))
