Josie's POV
I returned back to my hotel room with Emiliana, Nessa and Taylor. They kind of witnessed what happen but only I saw what Michael was doing when I opened the hotel room. He was kissing some other girl ? "I'm just not understanding. What was all the chase to be with you if he wanted to still mess around with other girls?" Asked Emiliana. I shook my head. "Well maybe everything was a misunderstanding.. the way he treated her was too good for him not to be done with his 'messing around' phase" added Taylor.
"Well i say you go to his show". We all looked at Nessa like she was crazy for saying that. "If you show the other girl that you were bothered by not going to the show then she thinks that she wins and has one up on you. Plus i did hear her say your name and mention that somebody paid for her flight for her to get here" she said. I was confused. "How could she know my name if nobody knows we are dating?" "Well if Myke was playing that game of wanting to be with you two at the same time don't you think she would have found out about you?" Said Emiliana. Everyone just kept putting in their opinions & theories about the situation. "Well i still think this whole thing was a misunderstanding" added Taylor. "Well either way im not going to the show. For what? I already told him that I didn't want to be bothered by him and to give me some time alone to think"- "to think about what? If you don't even know the whole story you only know what you saw and that was like two seconds" interrupted Taylor.
"Okay how about we go to the show and see if anything suspicious is going on". I thought about it. "I just don't think that's a good idea. I just feel like I don't need to find out anything from behind his back. I want him to tell me everything before someone else can get the chance to tell me". I said. "And you think he's going to do it"? Asked Nessa. "Well if he cared about me like he said and showed to me then he will tell me. If he doesn't tell me the truth then I know where I stand, and the relationship will have to go in the trash". The girls looked at me with wide eyes. "What? It's true. I've already been through so much with my ex that at this point I don't have time for any shenanigans". They nodded their heads in agreement. "She is right. And hopefully he does tell her the truth because thats what she deserves".
I wasn't going to cry over the situation but it did catch me so off guard. Everything's going well and then boom, I find him and some girl kissing. I looked at the time and it was already nighttime. At this time the show was already starting. Was she at the show? I had to stop myself from overthinking stuff. The girls and I decided to get dinner delivered to my room and watch whatever was on tv.
and before we knew it they went back to their hotel rooms and I fell back to sleep.
Myke's POV
The show was over. I took a couple pictures with some fans who had a vip pass and went on about my night. I was looking for Rafa to talk to him about Amanda. "Yo Myke you killed it out there" and there he was. "Yeah thanks let me ask you something. Did you pay for Amanda's flight to get to me". He sighed. "Yeah I did. She told me you weren't taking care of your kid and a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do". At this point I was angry. "Why would you do that. Why does our situation matter to you in the first place"? Rafa always is getting in my business and even time after time telling him i don't like it he still does it. "Well I just thought"- "no my personal life doesn't concern you. If you're gonna keep that up I don't want you to be my manager no more".
I remembered how Amanda knew Josie's name as well. "And you told her about Josie's didn't you"?
"I dont want you to get distracted with Josie"- "so you fly out the mother of my child to come see me and get in the middle of Josie and I.. but yet you ' don't want any distractions ' "- I shook my head. "Thank God tonight was the last show. I don't want to work with you anymore". Rafa looked so surprised at my words. "But the contract"- "the contract, nothing. You've officially crossed a line and I don't need to be around people like you". I told him. And grabbed my stuff and left.
As I was heading back to the hotel my only thoughts were Josie and how I was gonna tell her how a had a 1 y/o child, if she didn't already find out. I just hoped that she would be understanding and that this situation would not ruin the future of our relationship.
I got to my room put away my chains, showered, wash my hair and put on some Nike shorts with a white tee and sprayed some cologne on. I got on the elevator going down to Josie's room.
Josie's POV
I was woken up by a knocking sound on my door. I looked at my phone and it was about to be 12 a.m. I wouldn't be surprised if it was Michael. I opened the door and there he was. "Michael it's getting late and I was trying to sleep"- "just give me a chance to explain it everything to you honestly". I wasn't gonna lie he did look extra good tonight for whatever reason and not only that, his cologne ? was like music to my nose. I can't believe I just said that.
I sighed. "come in". He came in and shut the door behind him. I turned up the lights a slight bit since it was dark. We sat on the bed across from each other and he started talking. "I'm not sure why I didn't tell you this from the jump but I do have a child and the woman you saw earlier in my hotel room is the mother of my child". He seemed disappointed to have not told me everything from the beginning. Even though pretty much we still are in the beginning of our relationship, after all it's only been a couple of weeks. He explained to me how he met Amanda in Puerto Rico and how she was with him before his fame and that they obviously have a history together.
"I still have and always will have respect for Amanda because she is the mother of my child. We were on and off and then I decided to break it off officially but I guess she thought I wasn't being for real this time. I ended it because I felt like I just need someone who would understand me more, someone who is secure, and not only was my woman but was my friend. And with her I just didn't find that after a while".
I had asked him about their baby and if he was being the best father he could be. "We had a baby a year ago. A baby boy who is the love of my life. I'm always with him when I am not working. I pay for everything when it comes to him and Amanda never has to spend a dime". He went on about how having the baby changed him as a man and has impacted his career in a positive way.
The way Michael would talk to me about his baby moms and his child really showed me how respectful he is because never once did he say anything bad about Amanda. It also showed me how responsible he was as well. "Overall I am sorry you had to walk into Amanda kissing me. She kissed me and I tried to pull back and then you walked in and yeah ... it was just messy". It was silent for a bit.
"I do know that Rafa had some part to do in that whole thing though". I was confused. "Wait your manager"? I asked. He nodded his head. "Yeah he paid for her ticket to get here and see me. I feel like it was all just to get a reaction out of me. Ever since I've been dating you all he's been saying is that you're going to be a distraction to me. I just don't understand why he doesn't know how to stay in his place. Because if I wanted to hear how you could be a distraction to me I would just ask my father. Either way I'm grown enough to make my decisions". He seemed a little annoyed about the situation. I would be too. "That's why I fired him" we both looked at each other and laughed. "No but all jokes aside I now need a new manager".
"I understand if you would not want to be with me anymore because I have a child and bigger responsibilities to deal with". I admit it is something I would have to think about. like If this goes deeper and farther eventually I would have to meet his baby boy, and Amanda and it is a big responsibility. But for the short amount of time that I've known Michael he's always proved himself to me and has put in effort into this relationship. "Well I accept your apology. And if we are going to be in a relationship i feel like we need to tell each other the important stuff before anyone else can tell us. I appreciate your honesty. And yes I still do want to be with you".
His frowny face turned into a smiley face. I can tell I make him super happy just like he makes me happy. He leaned in to give me a kiss. I know my relationship is my relationship but I already know that Emi, Taylor, and Nessa are gonna ask me to spill all the details. "Now Im going back to sleep cus I'm tired" I said. "Me too" he said arranging the pillows. "Oh yeah how was your show". I asked as we were cuddling.
Even after all the talking him and I were doing I still couldn't believe he had a kid. At this point I was having a whole conversation with myself in my head. If I'm gonna date a older guy he's obviously going to have bigger responsibilities than me and in this case it is a baby.
