"Whatever keep your secrets"...

February 21st, 1920 Philadephia, Pennsylvania
Addison Marie Brandon's eyebrows furrowed as she watched Mary Alice pounce on another unsuspecting doe immediately digging her sharp teeth into the poor animal's neck, "I thought vampires fed on humans?" she was still unsure of what her twin was actually doing or what their plan was in Philadephia.
Mary Alice straightened back up wiping the blood from her chin with anoddly bright smile for just killing several innocent does, "I've already explained this sissy"...
Addison Marie rolled her eyes as she crossed her arms over her chest to seem even more dramatic, "ah yes, I forgot, you had some vision of some vegetarian vampire who feeds on animals and we're gonna find them and live happily ever after... Still doesn't explain what we're doing in Philly".
Mary Alice chose to ignore her twin sister's sarcasm knowing that she would cheer up when the mysterious honey-blonde arrived at the diner, "aren't you thirsty Addie?"Alice had a point, Addison's throat was burning worse than the venom but she chose to spend her time watching her twin murder the innocent animals in the woods.
"Oh come on sissy, come and prance through the woods with me unless you're too scared"... Addison Marie never was one to back down from a challenge and she did really want to feel the wind through her short locks once again...
"Those are serious fighting words" her words were a teasing growl as she leaped from the small ledge playfully pouncing on her twin sister like a lioness, both of them rolling in the dirt, their loud laughs and squeals echoing around them...

Addison Marie sat in the same bright red booth in the same small diner, she was still waiting for the same someone... but the problem was she didn't know who the hell she was waiting for or why she was waiting for them... She had grown used to the constant stares and rather loud whispers from the other humans in the diner who were curious wondering who she was, what she waiting for, and why...
Mary Alice had tried to convince her that they would find some vegetarian vampire family and they'd live happily ever after but Addison was beginning to lose hope... Although she often found herself falling into a daydream as she stared at the cup of coffee in her hands...
In the daydream, Addison Marie was sitting on a comfortable look couch talking to someone, she never could see who because they were blurry but she was smiling in the daydream... And she desperately wanted that dream to be true...

"Allie-Cat if you would just tell me who I'm waiting for-" Addison Marie knew the childish groan was a bit... well childish... as she tossed open the fridge reaching for the orange juice jug filled to the brim with animal blood from the butcher's shop but she was tired of going to the small diner every single day and coming home with nothing and no one...
"Trust me, you'll know him when you see him" Addison groaned once again resting her forehead against the wooden countertop tired of hearing the same words every single day, "that's what you always sayyy, say something different please"...
Mary Alice knew her sister was losing hope but she couldn't tell her about the honey-blonde because she wanted her to actually be surprised when she saw her true love for very the first time. "Because it's the truth sissy, have some patience".
Addison Marie huffed with annoyance as she lifted her head and rested her chin on the counter, glaring at her twin before giving up on the topic and moving to pour herself a cup of blood, "whatever keep your secrets"...

January 23th 1948 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
The cliche cheerful bell jingled as Addison Marie Brandon walked into the same boring little diner alerting everyone to turn around and stare at her as she shook off the rain droplets before walking towards the same bright red booth sliding to the end so she could stare out the window. She was losing hope... or maybe she had already lost hope that someone was coming perhaps she was always meant to have the weird feeling of being incomplete besides she had Mary Alice what more could she possibly want?
Addison Marie could see her own reflection in the glass, bright amber eyes staring as the little rain droplets slide down the glass, she had always found rain beautiful... There was just something poetic about the sky crying, something that made her feel at peace...
And as she stared outside at the humans bustling down the streets she could feel something in her mind click, a forgotten memory... She remembered dancing in the rain, she remembered feeling the water soak her clothes and hair, the goosebumps rising on her skin as she spun around in the streets.
✰✰✰
Addison Marie had always found something beautiful about dancing in the rain despite it sounding cliche... While Mary Alice had no issue claiming her love for fairytales and romance, she preferred to keep silent about her fantasies especially her fantasy of dancing in the rain with her one true love even if it was cliche...
The cheerful jingle of the bell echoed through the diner breaking Addison from her thoughts of the rain, she used to quickly look towards the door when that loud bell rang through the diner, but now she took her time knowing it would just be a regular customer and not the person she was waiting for...
When Addison Marie finally craned her neck to looking something inside her stomach began to feel warm, it wasn't the cliche butterflies swarming around in her belly, no... what she felt was different, just an overwhelming sense of calm as she stared at him...
He was tall, way taller than her 5'5 frame, muscular and lean with soft-looking honey-blonde hair that fell just above his collar, and he was covered in scars that were barely noticeable to the human eye, they looked like bite marks... But it was his eyes that made her breath somehow manage to get caught like a bubble in her throat...
They were a rich burgundy color but they weren't hunger-filled or savage no... they were pained and scarred filled to the brim with regret and self-hatred but still so comforting with bruise-like shadows underneath...
Addison Marie knew him... She didn't know how or where but she knew the mysterious honey-blonde...

A/n~ Jasper Whitlock is officially here and not in dream form! Little heads up, Addison and Jasper are both going to be smitten right off the bat and not understand why.
They won't get together immediately well not technically... you'll see what I mean eventually... It's just going to be a love at first sight.
Anyway, feel free to comment any thoughts or criticism. <3 Jade
