February 20th, 1920 Stone County Lunatic Asylum 3:15 a.m
Addison Marie Brandon's brown eyes snapped open as a warm hand clamped over her mouth muffling the scream that threatened to escape, "Addison! It's me, calm down" Mary Alice whispered shouted trying to calm her older twin...
But she herself was shakey worried about the bloody-thirsty tracker who had finally caught their faint scent, "James. He's coming soon, we have to go now"...
Addison knew she had to hurry as she slid on her stained white sneakers before wrapping the burgundy cardigan around her body. She was practically trembling as Doctor Emerson placed both his hands on the twin's shoulders speaking in a hushed voice...
"Stay quiet and stay alert at all times if you hear someone run into the woods and don't look back understood" the twins nodded interlacing their pinkies to stay grounded...

Addison Marie couldn't help but stare into the different rooms as she followed closely behind Doctor Emerson, each patient was barely asleep tossing and turning letting out small whimpers and groans much like she did when sleeping on the lumpy mattresses.
She held back a scream of terror feeling Mary Alice's hand tighten around her wrist as one of the patients pushed himself against the door holding tightly on the metal bars, all she could focus on were his eyes they were black and cloudly from the lack of sunlight and full of crazy.
"Patients are escaping! Patients are escaping! Take me with you!" he cackled waking the others and soon the screams and taunts were deafening, making her feel like her ears were bleeding...
Addison's grip tightened on Mary Alice's wrist dragging her along as she rushed down the dark hallway "don't look back Allie" she ordered pushing open the wide double doors stumbling down the stone steps.
The Asylum became smaller and smaller in the distance until it was no longer visible and only then did the two stop running...

Addison's Marie placed her hands on her knees feeling her chest burn from all the running but she didn't care, her smile was bright as she inhaled the fresh air, there was no bleach or mold, no smell of blood or death. Doctor Stephen Arden couldn't hurt her anymore and neither could his guards, she was finally free.
"Addison! Alice!" Doctor Emerson's voice was a hushed shout as he shoved past the tree limbs "we're here" she called unable to stop smiling as his figure appeared in the moonlight, she tossed herself into his open arms feeling happy once again.
"Thank you, Henry. You did it, we're free"...

February 20th, 1920 Doctor Emerson's house 4:30 a.m
Addison Marie didn't know where she was, all she could remember was Doctor Emerson biting into the soft flesh of her neck whispering the same words over and over "I'm so sorry"...
The venom burned and made her body convulse each second like someone was pouring gasoline in her veins before setting her ablaze, her hand carelessly slapped against the wooden floor reaching for her twin.
Mary Alice was the first one Henry bit cutting her off mid-sentence and making Addison Marie panic and scream as her twin limply fell to the ground, her hand finally found Mary Alice's lacing her fingers tightly through her sisters both of them holding onto each other during their time of agony...

February 20th, 1920 Doctor Emerson's house 12:30 p.m
Addison Marie knew someone was in the house or room, her brown eyes had fluttered shut long ago as the venom contuined to spread through her body refusing to re-open but she could still sense the dark and unwelcomed presence, she could hear the low growls as someone leaned in-between her and her sister.
"It's always such a shame when you don't get to taste your prey" Addison couldn't move, couldn't open her mouth to scream, "Doctor Emerson wasn't so lucky" she could feel an ice-cold hand stroke her face like she was a dog before he was gone.
And somehow she just knew it was James...

February 20th, 1920 Doctor Emerson's house 1:40 p.m
Mary Alice sat on the black leather couch in what she guessed was their creator's house, she couldn't remember anything other than the burning pain of the venom coursing through her body and she remembered that she had recently escaped from an asylum but every memory before that was gone and as bad as it sounded, she hoped it was the same for Addison...
She didn't want her sister to be plagued by the asylum or by the horrible experiences, she just wanted her sister to be happy again...
Mary Alice wanted her to be energic and carefree like when their mother was still alive and breathing, she wanted her sister to dance freely again while she sang songs.
Alice began to find herself wondering why the change was taking so long to finish, she wanted to leave Biloxi, Mississippi as soon as possible, her premonitions had intensified after the change and she finally saw the mysterious honey-blonde Addison was dreaming about.
Mary Alice saw the honey-blonde stranger with Addison Marie both of them were madly in love like something out of a fairytale book and she saw a happy future with a vegetarian vampire family called the Cullen's, now all she needed was her sister to wake up.

February 20th, 1920 Doctor Emerson's house 2:00 p.m
Addison Marie felt different, each sense was heightened, she could hear the birds chirping from miles away, the sounds of different animals rustling through the forest, and the smells were intense the old dead lilies, musty books, and the overwhelming scent of lavender and citrus.
She could see the dust particles floating in the air as she slowly sat up but none of that mattered as arms tightly wrapped around her, as Addison hugged her twin she tried to remember who she used to be, everything was gone, memories of her mother and father, her little sister, the experiences at the asylum the whole slate was wiped clean.
Only the little details remained her age, her twin, and somehow she could remember dancing in the living room while Mary Alice sang songs but everything else was gone...
"Allie I can't remember-" Mary Alice shushed her cutting her whimper short as her sister gently played with her hair, another thing Mary Alice had noticed about her sister that was different after the change, her hair had thickened...
"Sissy it's okay this is a good- no this is a great thing, it's a chance to start fresh, and I know where to go"...
