My thoughts were cut off but my phone ringing

-the phone call-
"Hey baby sorry I missed your calls, but I just want to let you know that I am on my way" I hear him say
"Oh ok um did something happen? I- are you ok?"
"Yeah I am fine I act-"
"He was helping me kill a spider because I was to sacred to do it." I hear him getting cut off by her voice
"Oh um I am guessing you are leaving her house and coming over here?" I asked even though I know the answer
"No I am coming with you guys.. I hope that ok with you." Her high pitched voice spoke
"I thought it was supposed to be a date like just with me and you" I asked with a chance of hope he will change his mind
"We can go on one next week I promise" he said another lie
"You said that last time though" i mean it's just getting old at this point
"I know I know but this time I am telling you" he said
And my dumb self believe him
"I am pulling up see you soon"
"Ok bye"
-end of call-
I walk out of my house to see her sitting on the front sit. Meaning I am going to have to sit in the back. Yay.
"Hey baby" he said to me
"Hi vin" I was reaching to give him a kiss when she put her head on his shoulders.
"Oh hi y/n" she said
"Hi Emily"

"Why are you all dressed up" she asked
"Well bc me and vinnie where going to a fancy restaurant so i dressed up. Why?"
"Oh you didn't tell her vin vin. We are going to BBQ" (a/n: I was trying to think of something that you can get dirty from and that's what came to mind)
"Why didn't you tell me this when we were still at my house vinnie" I looked at him
"I must of forgot but if it helps you look really good" he says trying to sweat talk me out of being mad at him
"Well do you still have those extra set of clothes?" I asked looking around his car
"Ooo sorry but I was cold so I took it"
I swear she is trying to get killed
"Oh ok then"

"No it's fine she was cold so you gave her then it's fine" I cut him off bc I was just done being in second place. I mean I am not one to get like this, but ever since Vinnie and I stared dating she makes sure she is always there. Even when it's supposed to be the two of us Emily is always there.
-time skip to the place-
I took one look in that place and I knew I was over dressed. I mean this is just my luck.
We get a table and of course Emily makes SURE Vinne is sitting with her
"Sit with me vinnie" she is acting like an 5 year old
" I kinda want to sit with y/n" vinnie says but miss.Gurl will get her way
" she will be fine come on pleaseeees"
"Are you ok with it" he asked me
I don't know why he did but whatever
"Yep"
"See now come sit"
This whole time I felt I was the third wheel. Me feeling like the third wheel when my boyfriend is right infront of me. I just can't sit here and be ok with this. I need to go.
"Um I think I am going to head home" I said picking up my stuff. I knew I was leaving so I got an Uber.
"What why? Do you not like the food? Are you sick?" It's sweet to see vinnie actually caring
"Um I am just not feeling good, so I am going to go and rest" I said standing up
"I can take you home. I don't want you in an Uber by yourself" he say standing up with me
"Vinnie she is a big girl she can handle it" the girl says
I swear I saw her smirk and put it away right when vinnie look at her
"Yeah I will be fine vin. Stay I will be fine" I reassured him
"Ok if you say so" he went to give me a kiss on the lips but I turn my my head so it will land on my cheeks
"Oh um that was meant for your lips" he says
"Oh sorry.." I reach to my tiptoes and give him a kiss on the cheek
"Bye"
I left before he could even say anything. All I know is that I am done being in second place
Vinnie Pov:
That was wired
Maybe she didn't want to get me sick?
She seemed fine

"Vin vin let's have fun. Y/n would want that right"
"Ig" I said still trying to figure out what's wrong with my girlfriend
"Now let's go the bar" she pulls me up and bring me over to the bar they have in the restaurant

After a couple or a lot of drinks I start to feel weird. I knew it was time to go home. Emily wasn't as drunk as me, but she had a few to. Well anyways I felt a tap on my shoulder and see it's Emily.
"Hey Emil-y at yo-u ready to g-go?"
"What we just got here stay a little"
"I have to get back to y/n I haven't seen her all day, and I just want to hold her, kiss her, make l-"
I was cut off my someone kissing me and I thought it was funny so I started laughing. But then they pulled me back in. Then I realize.

Y/n POV:

There was a video out of vinnie kissing Emily. At the same place they decided to go to. The same place where vinnie and I weren't supposed to be at bc we were supposed to have a date night. WE not me and him plus Emily. I am alway second place. And it shows
-the next morning-
I woke up to a knock on the door. Well more like pounding then anything.
"Ok ok I am coming don't shit yourself" I laughed a little when I said that but once I open up the door my face dropped.
"No" I told them and close the door, but of course they stopped it
"Just please listen please"

"What" I asked
"Can I come in" he asked like I was going to do that
"No, whatever you have to say you can say it right here" I mean he doesn't need to be in my house to tell me bull
"Ok look I don't remember what happened that night and when I woke I saw the video all over tiktok room and everything. It meant nothing to me, and I know I wouldn't do that to you. Please babydoll you have to believe me. I would never want to hurt you in anyway shape or form. Can we just work past it. I can't lose you" he was on the verge of crying, but I guess he was trying to hold it together.
"Vinnie you don't get it do you. I am always second place to her, and everyone seems to see it but you. It hurts me when I think we are going on a nice date and boom she there, or when we see each other what seems like never because of her. I mean have you ever thought about how I felt or feel about having her around. I mean HELL Vinnie it's alway her. When she needs this you go to her, but what I needed you hmm where you Vincent. YOU WERE WITH HER!! The day my mom and I got into a big fight and I called you bc I needed you where you Vincent hmm answer me" I look straight into his eyes so he can see all the pain he cause
"With her"
"Right and you said that you will come over in an hour or so. Did you come when you said you were?"
"No"
"Right bc she needed you to spend the night bc she was "sacred" and you believed her. I mean you forgot our anniversary because she needed you. And l'm done. I'm done being second to her. I AM THE ONE DATING YOU NOT HER. Sorry, but it seems like I am the third wheel to yall. And maybe thats how it should be. Maybe we should br-" I was cut off by lips on mine.
As much as I wanted to forget about everything I can't. Those are the lips that touched hers.
I pulled away wiping my lips, and I can see the hurt in his face which doesn't even compare to the hurt in my heart.
"You kissed her vinnie I don't want her DNA on me" I told the boy
"Y/n please don't leave me please. I will try better and be the better boyfriend for you. I won't talk to Emily anymore. Just please let's work this out." He got on his knees
"We can't work out something that's was already broken to being with" I said
I bent down and wipe his lips then gave him one last kiss. I was going to pull away when he pulled me back in.
"I am sorry but I can't be second place" I pulled away and close my door. I sat down by my door hearing his cries.
I will always be second place to the girl best friend.
Vinnie POV:
She just left and I miss her touch, her lips, just everything about her. She was right I wasn't always there for her. But, she was there for me. I am so stupid for letting Emily get in the way of me and y/n's relationship. Speaking of Emily I hear her call me.
"Hey v-
"We are no longer friends. Don't text me. Don't talk to me. Don't even look at me. We are done. You cost me way to much. Bye" with that I hung up and blocked her.
I was still at y/n door step hearing her cry which mind me cry bc I know I cause that.
"Y/n, I am sorry for everything I cause. I can only wish that the next guy that comes in your life treats you way better then I did. I love you" there nothing more I can do, so I left in hopes that one day we will meet again.
