?????? Pov 1st person (before)
I had wondered off away from the group walking through the woods but I forgot how to get back so I just continued walking past the old run down town
We had just came here to search for resources when I heard a scream it was kinda feminine so I quickly walked in that direction to see 10 zombies had attacked a small woman who was already dead by now but they saw me,because I wasn't even trying to hide
They ran to me so I sprinted away running past house after house, building after building,I ran past a shop and I thought I saw someone in there but before I could think I had reached a dead end in the path with no where to go I started to get really stressed,I let out a panicked breath
"That's it I'm dead"I mumble to myself,getting ready to put my fist up because I was not going down without a fight,I mean it would have been a lot easier if I brought a weapon instead of standing here without a weapon
Just as I was about to swing my fist my thoughts where cut off by another person,with a f/c hoodie and ripped jeans.they where slightly taller than me,he was holding a baseball bat and swung it at one of there head having blood splatter everywhere.
It all was happening so fast first he killed 4 of them ,got tackled to the ground,managed to kill 2 of them on the floor then the rest standing up which he did a cool flip to get up
I was in awe at how fast this strange man could moved and thought out every action perfectly
Once he finally kill them all he took a second before looking at me and I immediately started writing down in my book,this was something I didn't want to forget this it was a strange experience
"Are you ok?"He asked quizzically
Y/N pov 1st person
"Y-Yeah" the person said rubbing the back of there neck
I observed them move they had pale white skin and sun glasses with one Lens broken out the person also wore a face mask that was also scuffed. he had a torn up suit on but it still looked smart though not really suitable for an apocalypse.he held a note book that they just scribbled down something in it
"Are you?"The person asked back
"Yeah just a few scratches"I say the adrenaline slowly wearing off
The more I looked at him he looked like a child which probably had no clue on how to survive on there own
"So what your name?"I asked
"It's mark but call me R-Ranboo" he said holding out a hand which I kindly grabbed and shook
"Well you can call me Y/N-" I reply but was cut of to more sounds of walking a bit away to which made me grab his hand and pulled him along to the little store I had hid in for 2 years now
Once we got there they where about to say something but I looked slightly down at Ranboo and held a finger up to my mouth signifying to not speak but once the sound of foot steps got further and further away I slowly moved my hand away from my mouth letting a comfortable silence fall over us
Soon The light in the sky began to slowly disappear as the sun was setting as a warm red and orange covered the sky
"Do you have a place to stay?"I asked Ranboo grabbing some medical supplies for my arm
"Yeah, but I don't know how to get back to it"Ranboo responded
"It's ok if you want I can help you find it tomorrow?"I say,wincing in pain as I put disinfectant on my cuts then wrapping it in bandages
"Thank you" they said excitedly
"What pronouns do you want me to use for you?" I ask, the reason I asked was because I didn't want to misgender them
"Oh he/him "Ranboo replied,the sun had completely set by this time leaving us in the dark with only a small light
I got genuinely curious when I saw that he wore a face mask with sun glasses I wanted to know if he know why he did
"Why do you where a face mask?" I ask bluntly "if you don't want to tell me thats fine"
"Oh I just get facial dysphoria and it helps " he replied in a awkward tone
We continued to talk for a bit longer and he told me about him and vice versa
My eyes wondered out side"Yeah well you should probably sleep it's getting late and tomorrow I will help you find your way back"I say softly,looking back at him as he scribbled done more things into his note book
He obviously noticed me looking because he spoke "I have memory problems because of where I live so I write stuff in here so I can remember it when I go back" he replied with a smile before I passed him a sleeping bag ,that was slightly to small for me,then he lay down in it on the floor
I looked at him laying there peacefully usually in an apocalypse it's you or a group against the world but not for me I guess.I just got this instinct to help Ranboo he may be tallish but he told me he was still a minor so I feel kinda bad he has to live like this
I stayed up all night because I know I was about to pull 3 all nighters in a row (don't do this btw,it's just suffering) and I wanted to make sure he was ok
I had just been sitting here thinking about all that has happened ok the past few years
I was so lost in thought that the sun had begun to rise as I slowly slipped into a sleep knowing that it would be safer to now,the night time was always the most dangerous
Before I knew it I had fallen into a light sleep leaning against the wall
