Aight who cares? She's cute and that's all that matters. Never left my team the moment I got her. So anyway, after like... 100 hours of playing the game I decided to make a fanfic. And its about best girl!
I'm planning this to be just scenarios full of wholesomeness. So no plot, but maybe there would be 'plot' ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

"Alright, I'm going now!"
You shout from the front door. You turn to see your mother smiling at you as she sees you off. She walks towards you and places her two hands on your shoulders. Her eyes seemed reminiscent.
"You grew up so fast." She sighed. "One day you're wetting yourself over a few slimes and then now you're setting off to Mondstadt to join the Knights of Favonious."
You cringe. "Mom, I'm pretty sure the time that's accumulated is enough that people would move pass things like that."
"Maybe this time he'll cry when he sees a Mitachurl instead!" You hear the laugh of your sibling from the other room.
"Shut up!" You shout back.
Your mother's face shifts from a smile to a bit of worry.
"Do be careful, alright? I heard the monsters these days are more vicious... it'll ruin your look and lower your chances."
You cringe once more at her last comment. You turn away in embarrassment. "This again..."
She rest her cheek on her hand as she teasingly worried. "Despite having so many girls in the village you somehow managed to go through your teenage years without a girlfriend."
"Arrghhh, I'm just gonna go now!" You groaned and stormed out a bit flustered.
"Fufufu~ You gotta do something (Y/N), girls don't just fall from the sky."
You dash away from the house and your mother's teases. A bit annoyed that the farewell devolved into this, but you know that she's just doing it to stop herself from getting emotional.
And you head off to a new chapter of your life. Unknowing that fate will soon prove your mother wrong...

Truth be told, despite always wanting to move to Mondstadt and join the Knights of Favonious, you don't really know what you're aiming for here. As broad one's childish dreams can get, you sometimes end up not thinking about things like long term plans. Maybe eventually being a captain would be nice, but there's also being an alchemist. But at the moment you feel like just going with the flow and being in wherever the events lead you in.
Arriving at the Mondstadt, no matter how much you've grown, it seems the city walls were always enormous. With windmills being the only thing that stood taller, the city was surrounded by walls and a vast lake. You entered the place by walking through a stone brick bridge, you see some knights, future comrades, standing guard by the entrance.
You stand in awe, gleaming at everything. Excited for what will happen next. You already start to picture yourself in armor, raiding a camp of hilichurls. Maybe even taking down the abyss order, you never know!
Unfortunately you were to deep into the fantasy as you fail to notice immediately a gasp. You indeed heard a flap of some sort of wing, but you passed by a little boy playing with some pigeons that you assumed it was just that. You never excepted it had came from a person.
"Look outtt!!" You hear someone shout. You raise your head to where the voice came from but to only meet something that knocks you to the ground.
"Ow... What the hell?" You groaned. You felt someone on top of you.
You were met with someone's knee pointing right below your neck, with an added discomfort of them wearing boots. Their thighs pressed against your chest as they tried to pick themselves up.
"I-I'm so sorry!!" They apologized as they helped you up. "A-are you hurt?"
"Ah...no it's..." When you got up you meet eyes with her. Her gold eyes worriedly stared around you, seeing to see if she had hurt you. She wore something similar to a jumper, with a red hood. A headband with a bow that reminded you of a rabbit. It took you a bit to notice that you were staring for a bit too long.
Though she didn't seem to mind, or rather didn't notice as she continued to scan you. She let out a gasp as she grabbed your arm. It seems during your fall you had scraped your elbow on the ground. Just a little scar, a bit of bleeding but nothing you couldn't handle. However the girl seemed to be nervous.
"Oh no I hurt you!" She frowned. "Come on! I'll try to treat you!"
"Wait no its really no—" There was no point as you were now being pulled away from the city and to a nearby tree.
The girl in red sat you down as she reached for a bag strapped in her belt and pulled out a pack of bandages.
"S-seriously this is fine you don't have—Ahhh." A winced as you felt the sting of a disinfectant being applied to the wound. The girl then placed a bandage over it and patted it a bit after finishing.
"There! All done!" She gave you a big smile.
"T-thank you..." You smile back but couldn't help but looking from her in fluster. "You didn't have to do this much."
"Of course I have! The Knights of Favonious will always help out anyone in need!"
"Eh? You're a Knight?" Your eyes widen when she mentioned it.
"Hehe, yes I am! An Outrider to be exact! I'm the best one the Knights have!" She smirked proudly only to be disheveled right after. "—Well I'm the only Outrider... But it still counts!"
"Only? How come?" You asked.
"Well it's not easy for one... and ever since the leading Outrider left, everyone else began to either change or retire."
"Do you ever get lonely?"
She looked down, smiling meekly. "I can't think that, I'm happy that so many people are depending on me. Thought it would be great if someone would join in— but until then, I'll do my best and help everyone that ever needs me!"
Like a switch being flicked, her enthusiasm seemed to return in an instant. You couldn't help but let out a chuckle as you saw her stance. You both stare into each other until she seemed to be remembering something.
"Ah! I just remembered why I was in a hurry! Oh no Jean's going to be mad! Ah—I'll see you around!" She waved at you before dashing off.
"Hey!" You called out to her. "Uhh... I'm (Y/N), what's your name?"
She turned around and smiled one last time and winked. "Outrider Amber! Just say the word if you ever need my help!"
And with that she ran off.
You still had a smile plastered on your face. You look back to Mondstadt and continue from where you left, but now with something new in your mind.
"Outrider huh? Doesn't sound bad...."
