SM Confirms That Kinga Won't Be Participating In NCT 127 February Comeback

Last year, SM confirmed a NCT 127 comeback with their 2nd Japanese Mini-Album "LOVEHOLIC", which will be released in February, 2021.
With NCT 2020 coming to an end, many NCTzens were happy to find out that NCT 127 is the first sub-unit to release a comeback, coming back as a 10-member group prior to the NCT 2020 comeback.
With no information about the comeback whatsoever, SM released a statement at 6PM KST today, stating that NCT's female member, Kinga, will not be participating in the upcoming NCT 127 comeback.
In the statement, SM confirms Kingas' hiatus from NCT 127 comebacks as she wants to focus on solo work and her future big events.
❝Hello, this is SM Entertainment.
We want to inform NCTzens something about NCT 127's comeback "LOVEHOLIC", that is supposed to be released in February of 2021.
SM staff and NCT's female member, Kinga, had a meeting last year, and had came to the conclusion that Kinga will be on hiatus during NCT 127 promotions this year to focus on her solo work and other big events for this year.
It was Kingas' wish and decision to do so, and we will respect her decision. So, "LOVEHOLIC" comeback will be promoted as a 9-member group, and as of now, 2021 promotions will continue as a 9-member group.

Many NCTzens and ChoiZone are very supportive of her decision, stating that "she needs to rest". Although it seems like Kinga won't be resting this year, fans are happy that at least her NCT promotions are cut down to let the idol rest.

Kingas' comeback is sooner than excepted!
With SM's confirmation that NCT 127 will be releasing their second upcoming Japanese mini-album in February, 2021, Kinga released shocking news about her upcoming comeback.
During a vLive, Kinga confirmed that her Japanese extended play will be released on January 24, and fans are now more excited.
Without SM's permission, Kinga continued to state that the album will have five songs that were written and produced by the artist, and that the new upcoming album will be called "SORROW".

SORROW just dropped but it is already a bop!
Kingas' music video for her second Japanese single and title track for her first Japanese mini-album, VOICE, just dropped and already hit 50 million in the first fifteen minutes of its release!
Not only that, but her entire album just dropped, with SM confirming that the album had more than 50 million per-sell copies, and there is more copies to be sold.
With the release of the album, Kinga still took time to post a story on her Instagram where she stated; "SORROW is not just my Japanese debut extended play but also a birthday present for my younger sister, Karina. Happy birthday, dear sister! This one is for you!"
SORROW is a Japanese album that was fully dedicated for her sister, and if that's not the cutest thing ever, then I don't know what is!

Taemin And Kinga Talk About Why They Are Still Not Married

Just recently, Kinga and Taemin both got interviewed by an American interviewer for iHeartRadio through the laptop screen.
The couple talked about their journey from their friendship to their engagement, and how they feel about being a couple in "SuperM", as well as in the K-Pop industry. The pair also played games and showed the viewers how well the pair now each other!
Although the interview was all nice and wonderful, the interview got high YouTube views for the question that has been circling around the K-fans for ages.
Kinga and Taemin both announced their engagement in August, 2020 through hand-written letters, where they explained that they got engaged on Valentines Day in 2020.
After a year of the couples engagement, many fans are wondering why the couple are still not married. And even though many thought there was a huge reason for not being married yet, the answer was actually more simpler than fans thought it would be.
Taemin revealed that the reason they aren't married yet was because they couldn't find the time to take the days off for that day. Since it is something that takes time, the pair revealed that "because of COVID we didn't want to take the risk and get someone sick, but also because we didn't have any time. 2020 was a busy year for the both of us, with our multiple comebacks, and Kingas' outside work from her groups, we just didn't have time to sit down and discuss the wedding."
Fans are overwhelmed with "uwus" at how the pair considered other people's health as well as their own during this pandemic, and were also shocked to hear that the couple couldn't take any days off for this special day.
It seems like we'll just need to wait a little bit longer to see this pair married!
Kinga To Debut Under New NCT Unit

Yesterday afternoon, SM posted a statement which stated that NCT will be debuting their fifth sub-unit.
So, what's new about this fifth sub-unit and why is NCT's fandom so excited about this debut?
The answer is simple, NCT is debuting their first girl unit where Kinga will be debuting as the units' leader, and most likely, the oldest member. Fans are very happy about this news as Kinga will finally have some female members to accompany her.
With Kingas debut back in 2013 as a soloist to her debut as the only female member in NCT U & NCT 127 in 2016, fans are very happy to hear the news that Kinga will finally have some girls in the group alongside her.
This is probably one of the greatest news that the groups' fandom heard ever since Kinga debuted with NCT.
