I tried my best to act normal around Tod and Sam. Luckily the restaurant was a bit packed so I didn't have to interact with them very often. The end of my shift was approaching and as I was walking towards my table with a tray of food I overheard Tod talking to someone
"Sir, I'm not allowed to answer that"
"Just tell me where she is and I'll leave you alone"
I turned around to figure out what was going on and my breath got stuck in my throat.
Yoongi.
In all black with his ripped skinny jeans, tattoos on full display, and a fresh haircut. He had dyed it black and had gotten an undercut, he was wearing black sunglasses and his vape pen was in his front pocket barely peeking out.
He was holding a bouquet of flowers and looked pissed and he tightened his jaw. My heart started beating fast
I wanted to jump him on the spot he looked so fucking sexy. I put the food down in front of my customers and carried my empty tray towards Yoongi and Tod
"There she is" Yoongi smiled
My heart fluttered and I felt myself get turned on by the seduction and possessiveness in his voice
"Hey..what's going on?"
"I came to get you from work but dick head over here wouldn't tell me where my girlfriend was hiding" he came over to me and wrapped his arm around my waist pulling me in tight, his cologne was intoxicating. Before I realized what he was doing he kissed my temple "these are for you babygirl" he mumbled seductively into my ear making me blush as he handed me the flowers
"Thanks" I smiled as my face got even hotter
"Of course"
"This is your boyfriend?" Tod asked sounding shocked
"Yeah, and you are?" Yoongi asked defensively
"My name is Tod..I'm her coworker.." he mumbled
"Oh" Yoongi scoffed and turned his head to me "ready babygirl?"
"I just have to wait until my table leaves and then I can go" I said shyly
"I'll wait in the car then" he kissed my cheek and smacked my ass before walking away. I stood there for a moment completely dumbfounded and confused. He opened up the suicide doors on his car and got in
"Wow..that car is fucking sick" Tod said amazed as he watched him through the window "what does he do for a living?"
"He runs his own business" I lied
"Why do you still work here when your boyfriend obviously makes millions of dollars..you do realize that car alone costs over three million right?"
"Of course I know that, I was with him when he picked it out" I scoffed and rolled my eyes as I lied to Tod.
But why the fuck was I playing along to begin with?
I shook my head as I walked away and waited for my customers to finish up, I clocked out and wiped down my table before leaving, I walked up to Yoongi's car and tapped the window
"I brought my car"
"I know, but you're getting in mine" he rolled his window up before I could say anything else so I walked around and got in on the other side
"Care to explain?"
"No" he chuckled as he started the car and drove off, I stared at him while he drove.
He kept clenching his jaw, and I loved the way his veins stood out on his arm and hand as he shifted gears
"You just gonna stare at me or what?"
"Sorry" I mumbled and blushed as I stared out the window
"I don't mind" he shrugged with a smirk
"What exactly do you guys do for a living?"
"If you're lucky sweetheart, you'll never have to know"
"Okay..that gave me literally nothing but bad ideas"
"Sometimes bad ideas are the best ideas"
"That made zero sense"
"You make zero sense"
I scoffed "excuse me?"
"You mean to tell me you were crying over that dork back there? I could chew him up and spit him out"
"Probably.." I mumbled "I don't even know why I fell for him" I rolled my eyes
"Something we can both agree on"
He put the car in park out front of a tall building, he reached into his center console and grabbed his gun sticking it in his waistband "wait here. I'll be right out"
He got out and I just sat there trying not to panic
The fucking gun.
I thought about what Gia said..but it didn't settle my nerves at all.
I sat in his car for what felt like hours, in actuality it was only five minutes, and then he was back in the driver's seat driving me to another unknown destination
"Why the gun?"
"Does it make you nervous?" He smirked and glanced at me before focusing back on the road
"A lot..actually"
He chuckled "don't be nervous babe"
"Gee that helped so much, why didn't I think of that?" I rolled my eyes and he chuckled again
"I like your attitude"
"Thanks, I guess? But are you gonna answer my question?"
"Nope. We're here"
I looked out of the window and we were parked at a diner
"You brought me on a date?"
"Yep" he smiled at me before getting out of the car, we entered the diner and were seated at a booth towards the back, he sat facing the front of the diner
"Order whatever you want"
"Does that include answers?"
"Nope" he answered making sure to put emphasis on the 'p', I slouched into the booth and stared at the menu
We ordered our food and while we waited I noticed him watching the door
"Who are you waiting on?"
"A client"
"Ooooh so it's not a real date then"
He chuckled "why can't it be? Kill two birds with one stone. I didn't think you would be interested in an actual date anyway"
"Oh.." I looked away
I should have known.
Now I feel stupid.
"So tell me about yourself.." I said softly as we ate
"What do you want to know?" He asked as he glanced at the door
"Whatever I'm allowed to know since you can't tell me anything I ask about specifically"
He chuckled "well, I like...hold on"
He mumbled something in Korean and stared at someone
"Who are you talking to?"
"Taehyung"
"How?"
He tapped his ear
"Oh.. okay.."
I ate in silence while he did whatever the hell he was doing. And then we paid and left.
"Where to now?"
"G's"
"Kidnapping..great..let's add this to the list of stupid shit that's happ-"
"Switch with me"
"What?"
"I need you to drive" he unbuckled his seatbelt and stayed focused on the road, he reached behind my chair and grabbed something
"How the fuck am I even supposed to do that!"
He dropped whatever he was holding, undid my seatbelt, wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me out of my seat. I was sitting in his lap and he let go of the wheel
"Not exactly how I wanted you to ride me" he joked while I started flipping out.
Every single bad word I had ever heard before left my mouth in angry screams, he spread his thighs apart making my ass make contact with his seat as he leaped over to the passenger side and grabbed a gun that was behind my chair.
It was definitely bigger than the one he wore on his hip.
"Speed, take whatever turns you can"
"I'M FUCKING SCARED!" He pushed down on my thigh making my foot lay onto the gas pedal
"Don't be" he said calmly as he watched something in the mirror, I took a right hand turn and sped up as fast as I could
"WHAT ARE WE RUNNING FROM"
"Hopefully you won't find out"
"THAT DOESN'T FUCKING HELP YOONGI WHAT THE FUCK"
"stop yelling"
I took a left turn a bit too fast
"Damn girl, look at you driving Tokyo drift style"
Shots.
We were getting shot at.
He started speaking in Korean again and then he kissed my cheek, rolled down the window, and started shooting.
He didn't even break a sweat or flinch.
I was screaming and ready to piss my pants.
I just kept taking as many turns as I could and trying to stop myself from screaming.
He brought his body back into the window and sat in the seat
"Make a left, and then a right"
I did as I was told
"Pull in here and park"
A parking garage
"Where do I park?" I asked as I slowed down and drove up the ramp
"Top level"
As soon as the car was in park we exited the vehicle, he pulled out a set of keys and opened up a giant metal door.
My heart was jumping out of my chest and my body was shaking.
"Is it normal to feel this way?" I asked out loud
"Horny or terrified? Yeah. It's the adrenaline"
"Who the fuck gets turned on by shit like that?"
"It's how your body reacts to the adrenaline honestly. It's the same chemicals for fear and arousal" he shrugged his shoulders as we walked down a vacant hallway, we took the stairs down to the lower level and he unlocked another door.
It looked like a conference room.
A long table set up with chairs, we walked through to another door, he punched in a code and it unlocked
"Ladies first..just don't panic"
I rolled my eyes and walked in. There were computers set up literally everywhere, giant screens with strangers walking down streets, some screens were showing people in their homes, some were in meeting rooms, it looked like something out of a spy movie, my mouth was wide open and then we entered what looked like a bar lounge.
Gia was sitting on Namjoon's lap as he talked with the other guys, they were all in suits again including Namjoon, Gia was wearing a floral shirt with slacks and flats like a business woman.
"What in the fuck" I whispered
"Ally?" Gia said sounding surprised as she stood up
"What is all of this? What's going on? Why did I just get shot at? How come no one has told me anything?"
I didn't realize that I had started crying while I was asking her a million questions
"First car chase?" Jungkook asked making Yoongi nod in response
"Come here love" Gia said softly as she pulled me into a hug "I'll explain everything okay?"
