ASHLEY’S POV

“Pull over.” Elena tells me as we drive down the street of a small town.

I’m mad at Damon and I know that he’s probably mad at me too after I tricked him and stole his car. But he should be happy that I didn’t let Elena or Rebekah drive it. They would have probably tried to crash it on purpose.

Unfortunately, it ran out of gas and we had to leave it on the side of some road. I did park it carefully and make sure it was all good before leaving it behind.

I’m not too crazy about driving around in a stolen car. But is it really stolen if Rebekah compelled someone to let us have it?

“Why are we stopping?” Rebekah asks Elena.

“We’ve searched 3 cities in the last 24 hours. I’m sick of top 40 radio, and I smell like leather.” Elena answers rudely as I pull off to the side of the road and put the car in park.

“And that’s my fault? Ashley’s the one who stole the list of Katherine’s possible whereabouts.” Rebekah says angrily, turning to face me. “Did you ever think that Damon had bad information?”

“Have I mentioned I can’t stand the sound of your voice?” I ask her rudely. Being with these two is really starting to piss me off. All they do is bicker and it’s starting to rub off on me.

“Too bad. We’re not done. Next town.” Rebekah orders me as Elena opens the door and gets out of the car.

“Not yet. I’m hungry.” Elena says, walking towards a girl putting stuff into her car.

“We’re not here for a pub crawl, Elena.” I say, getting out of the car and following her. I’d really rather her not make a scene.

“I want the cure, Katherine has it. We don’t stop until we find it.” Rebekah adds as the two of us walk over to Elena.

The girl that Elena is watching, finishes putting a bag into her car and then turns to see Elena standing right behind her. She jumps a little bit but smiles.

“Oh my god. You startled me.” She says softly.

“Did I?” Elena asks. Before anyone can react, Elena vamps out and goes for the girl’s neck.

“Katherine, what are you doing?” The girl asks and my neck snaps up. Katherine?

“You know me?” Elena asks, pulling away from her.

“Of course. And I know most people around here prefer you to feed from the neck, but I asked you to drink from my wrist, remember?” The girls says obliviously.

The girl pulls her sleeve back to reveal two bite marks on her wrist. Katherine is somewhere in this town.

“Oh my god.” I whisper.

“The conniving little bitch compelled the whole town.” Rebekah says, laughing to herself.

“I think we just found Katherine.” Elena says, looking over at me and Rebekah with a smile. I nod and Elena turns back to the girl. “What’s my full name?”

“Katherine Pierce.” The girl answers.

“How do you know Katherine?” Rebekah asks, walking closer to her.

“How do I know who?” She asks.

“Me. How do you know me?” Elena asks.

“Small town, everybody knows everybody.” The girl answers, looking at Elena.

“So everyone here knows Katherine?” Rebekah tries again.

“I’m sorry, I don’t know who you’re talking about.” The girl responds.

I take a step forward and smile to myself. “She compelled people to forget all about her unless she’s talking to them herself. Clever.” I say with a nod.

“How long have we known each other?” Elena asks, trying to get some answers.

“It’s…been a while. I can’t remember.”

“Where do I live?” Elena asks. “Where do I work?”

“I don’t know.” The girl answers honestly.

“Who do I spend time with? Do I have any friends?” Elena continues to question her.

“Well, you said we could all be friends with you, as long as we kept your secret.”

“What secret?” Elena asks with a frown.

“I…I don’t know.”

DAMON’S POV

Stefan pulls his car over to the side of the road and I get out, practically running to my car. Thank god I found it. Stefan comes up behind me with a tank of gasoline as I examine my car.

“If they so much as even scatched the paint on my car…” I start.

“Well, just be grateful Sheriff Forbes was able to track down the car after you let them, well, you know…steal it from you.” Stefan says with a shrug.

“Remind me to send her some muffins. Do we really need ten gallons of gas?” I ask as he shoves the containers into my hands.

“Well, they ditched your car after it ran out of fuel. You gotta fill it up. Got a hundred miles before we get to Willoughby.”

“Yeah, well I don’t remember that name from the list of places I got from New York.” I point out.

“Oh, the list?” Stefan asks with a smile. "The list that Ashley stole right out from under your nose, after you let your guard down? They’ll be there. Sheriff Forbes tracked down the car they stole after yours.”

“Screw the muffins. I’ll get her champagne…if Ashley is wherever it may be.” I say, filling my gas tank.

“Willoughby.” Stefan repeats. “Creamed corn capital of Pennsylvania. They’ll be there. Let’s just hope we get to them before they get to the cure.”

“Oh, silver lining. If Rebekah takes the cure, then she’s mortal and we can just kill her right then and there.” I say optimistically.

“Oh, dark cloud. Elena stays a vampire forever.” He says, mocking me. “Look, why don’t you just table the revenge fantasies for now, and just keep your eye on the prize. Find Katherine, get the cure, get out before you get your neck snapped…again.”

“Believe me, I learned my lesson. Don’t keep things from vampire Ashley because she will find out and she will get me back.” I say with a small laugh.

“She’s a strong girl.” He says, nodding.

“Look at that. We’re finally on the same page about something.” I say before getting into my car.

ASHLEY’S POV

We walk into a post office and Elena approaches one of the workers at the counter.

“Hey, excuse me, um…do I have any mail today?” She asks, pretending to be Katherine and trying to figure out her address.

“What happened to you hair?” The guys asks and I tense up. Elena’s hair is straight and Katherine’s is usually curled.

“I straightened it.” Elena says rudely.

“In the last two minutes?” The guys asks and Elena glances over at me and Rebekah.

“I was here two minutes ago?” She asks him.

“Are you feeling okay, Miss Pierce?” The guys asks with a strange face.

“Yeah, I’m…I’m fine. Thanks.” She says before walking back over to us. “She was here to minutes ago. That means that she can’t be that far. Let’s split up.”

I nod and head outside while Elena and Rebekah split up inside the building.

I walk through the parking lot, but I stop when I see a girl with dark curly hair getting into a black car. I squat down behind a van and watch as the car drives off. I get a better look at the girl through the window and I see that it isn’t Katherine.

I stand up and turn around, gasping as someone grabs me from behind and slams me against a car.

“I’m impressed. I thought I killed you.” I hear Katherine’s snarky voice as she keeps me pinned down to the car. “Oh, well. Here’s to second chances.” She says.

I brace my self for the worst when Rebekah comes out of nowhere and pulls Katherine off of me, shoving me to the ground.

I stand up straight as Elena walks over, smiling down at Katherine.

***

The four of us are in a diner. Rebekah is sitting next to Katherine, forcing Katherine to be on the inside of the booth. Elena and I are sitting across from them.

“Where’s the cure?” Elena asks.

“What? No, ‘I’m here to avenge my little brother and best friend speech’?” Katherine asks with a frown.

“People die. We move on.” Elena says coldly.

“After turing off our humanity switch.” Katherine says happily, realizing that that’s exactly what Elena did. Katherine turns her gaze to me as her smile grows. “Look at you, all strong and immortal. So sad for the boys though. Their special snowflake of human frailty…gone. Well, if we’re gonna be a while, I’m gonna grab some menus.”

I ignore her as she tries to stand up. Rebekah quickly stabs a fork through her hand. She moans in pain and collapses back down to her seat.

“You’re not going anywhere.” Rebekah threatens.

“I forgot how charming you were.” Katherine spits back, wincing in pain.

“I’m surprised you remember me at all, seeing as though you were so busy wedging yourself between my brothers.” Rebekah fires.

“Oh my god, what happened?” I hear a voice next to us and we all look up to see a waitress looking at Katherine’s hand.

Nobody says anything so I kick Katherine’s foot under the table. She glares at me and then looks up at the waitress. “I'm fine, Jolene. You didn’t see anything.” Katherine compels her.

The waitress nods and walks away and I look around the room nervously. We’re running out of time.

“Look, every minute that we waste yapping about nothing is another minute we give Stefan and Damon to find us.” I remind everyone.

Rebekah nods and the quickly grabs Katherine’s chin, looking into her eyes. “Where’s the cure?” She compels.

“I’m sorry, I’m on vervain.” Katherine smiles.

“Oh, I get to torture it out of you. Fun.” Rebekah smirks, releasing Katherine’s chin.

“Why do you want it, anyway?” Katherine asks us.

“The question is, why do you want it? Let me guess, to kill Klaus?” I ask.

“I’ve spent the last 500 years running from Klaus. I have no intention of being within sniffing distance of him. But since it can be used against him, I’m sure he’s just itching to get his hands on it. I give him the cure, he gives me my freedom.” She explains. That’s exactly what I thought.

“Oh, you poor victim. Where’s the part in your plan where you screw us over and somebody dies?” Elena asks.

“I have no reason to screw you over.” She responds and Rebekah laughs. “I know you don’t believe me, but it is the truth. People change. I’m not the girl you think I am.”

Rebekah laughs again and I sigh in frustration. Suddenly, Rebekah starts reaching into Katherine’s pockets trying to find the cure.

“I don’t have it on me.” She says, trying to push Rebekah away.

Rebekah grabs her cell phone and tosses it to me. I catch it and smile at Rebekah.

“I didn’t think you did. But I’m sure there’s something in that, that can help us find it.” Rebekah says confidently.

I quickly search Katherine’s phone and I find an event on her calendar today at 2 pm. All it says is ‘meet em.’ I’m not sure what that means so I show Elena.

“Who’s ‘em’?” I ask as Elena takes the phone into her own hands.

“A…friend.” Katherine says uncomfortably.

“It says here you’re meeting at 2.” Elena says, reading the phone. Katherine sighs and she looks worried. “I guess I’ll just have to meet ‘em’ myself.”

I smile at Elena’s idea and so does Rebekah.

DAMON’S POV

“Something’s not right. Katherine Pierce does not hole up in Hickstown, PA.” I scoff as Stefan and I walk down the street of a small town.

“Well, this is definitely the car they stole.” Stefan says, pointing to the expensive looking car parked by the street. “We’re in the right place.”

“Points to them for their choice of vehicle.”

“So let me ask you something. What happens when we find them? How do we get them back to Mystic Falls? I mean, they’re not exactly gonna go quietly, and they have an Original vampire as their bodyguard.”

“We do what we have to do. I don’t care if we have to throw Rebekah under a school bus and wrap Elena and Ashley in burlap sacks. We do whatever we have to do.” I tell him.

“I’m serious.” He says, raising an eyebrow.

“I am too. I don’t care what they want right now. Elena is close to going off the rails for good and I don’t want her pulling Ashley into that too. Elena is a pain enough.” I say seriously.

“So what happened to they guy who thought everyone should embrace being a vampire?” He asks.

“That guy got his neck snapped in New York and this guy is royally pissed off.” I say before walking away.

ASHLEY’S POV

I sit in the booth with Rebekah and Katherine as Elena walks out of the bathroom. She did her makeup and made her hair look more like Katherine’s style.

“What do you think?” She asks us.

“It’s close. I think you need more eyeliner.” Rebekah says.

“Yeah, it’s not quite slutty enough.” I speak up and Katherine glares at me. Let her hate me. She killed me.

Rebekah and Elena both laugh. “I’m gonna need your clothes.” Elena says, looking at Katherine.

“Yeah, that’s not gonna happen.” Katherine says sarcastically.

“Fine. Your bracelet, watch, earrings. Hand them over.” Elena demands, pulling the fork out of Katherine’s hand.

Katherine rolls her eyes and starts taking off her jewelry and placing them on the table.

“And your other bracelet.” Elena adds.

“That’s my daylight bracelet. It’s daytime outside. I’m gonna need it. Besides, it’s not gonna work for you.” She argues.

“Fine. I really am gonna need the jacket, though.” Elena says with a sigh.

“Alright, fine. Fine, fine.” Katherine groans, taking her jacket off. “This will never work, you know. The hair, the doe eyes. You’ll never pass for me.”

“You’ll never pass for me.” Elena repeats, mimicking Katherine’s voice.

“Throatier, more mannish.” I suggest and Rebekah laughs.

“You’ll never pass for me.” Elena says again.

“You all are pathetic.” Katherine scoffs.

“You all are pathetic.” Elena mocks her again and Rebekah and I both giggle.

“That’s perfect. Just the right level of contempt and hidden insecurity.” Rebekah says with a smile.

“Almost there. Something’s missing.” Elena says, looking down. “Your shoes. I want your shoes.”

Katherine sighs, shaking her head in anger.

***

Elena went to meet ‘em’ and Rebekah and I are still sitting in the diner with Katherine.

“You know, it’s funny. I’ve always been a little envious of the legend that it Katherine Pierce. The way you could wrap men around your little finger, the way Elijah betrayed Klaus for you, the way the Salvatore brothers stumbled head over heels for you. And yet, here we are, all these years later, in a town that you’ve had to compel into liking you.” Rebekah says with a laugh. “It’s really more sad than funny.”

“You know you can’t split the cure with Elena, right?” Katherine asks Rebekah, ignoring her comments.

“She doesn’t want it.” Rebekah says.

“No, but Ashley does.” Katherine says, her eyes landing on me. “Are you two really that dumb?”

“I want a normal life again.” Rebekah says and I nod with her. We both know that the other one wants it, but there's no use fighting over it until we actually have it to fight over.

“You mean you want a do over. Well, guess what. You can’t have it. The cure will only take away your immortality. Everything else you hate about yourselves, you’ll still wake up with that in the morning. And you won’t even be able to compel yourself friends.” Katherine says to Rebekah.

I feel bad for Rebekah, but she takes things into her own hands, grabbing Katherine’s wrist and crushing her bones.

“Ladies, playing nice?” I hear Stefan ask and I look up to see him and Damon walking over to us. Perfect.

Damon slides down into the seat next to me while Stefan sits next to Rebekah.

“There goes the neighborhood.” Katherine scoffs as Rebekah releases her.

“I see you got Katherine already.” Damon says, turning to look at me for a second. I nod slightly and he turns back to Katherine. “You’re losing your touch, evil one.”

“Where’s Elena?” Stefan asks with a frown.

“So let me get this straight. I tell you where Elena is, you shove the cure down her throat, and then I end up in a box, right? I don’t think so.” Rebekah responds.

“What about you?” Damon asks, looking at me again. “Where is she, Ashley?”

“Damon, I think there are a lot of things we have to think about once we find this cure. But let’s at least find it first.” I state calmly, avoiding the question.

“Things to think about like how you set me up on the roof, teamed up with Barbie Klaus, and then stole my car.” He fires at me.

“I’m sorry.” I say quietly, not wanting to fight with him right now. “You lied way before I did.”

“Oh, I love relationship drama.” Katherine says smugly and I shoot her a look.

“Where is Elena?” Damon asks, looking at Katherine.

“I can give you a hint. Start by looking at the town morgue. She’s probably dead.” Katherine says and everyone stays quiet, not sure what that means. “She went to meet up with a friend of mine. You may know him…an Original brother, impeccable taste.”

“Elijah.” I whisper, horrified that that’s who Elena went to see. This is bad.

“Elijah’s here?” Stefan asks.

“Well, you sort of have to question Elijah’s impeccable taste if he’s friends with you.” Damon comments.

“Oh, when I say friend, I mean friend.” She says with a smirk and I roll my eyes as Damon and Rebekah groan in disgust. “It probably took him about ten seconds to realize that she wasn’t me, at which point he probably yanked her heart right out of her chest.”

“Alright. Where are they?” Stefan asks, getting angry.

I start to worry about Elena so I decide to speak up. “They were supposed to meet at a gazebo by the park.” I admit.

“I’ll got talk to Elijah.” Stefan says, standing up.

“You go deal with Elijah. Katherine will take us to the cure.” Rebekah says.

“No, she won’t.” Katherine speaks up. “The cure is my one chance to win my freedom back from Klaus.”

“You’re gonna broker a deal with Klaus?” Damon asks.

“No. She’s gonna get Elijah to broker the deal for her. That’s why you need you little friend, isn’t it?” Stefan asks her. “Some things never change Katherine.”

“Fine.” Katherine says, turning to Rebekah who is blocking her in. “Move. You have to follow me.”

***

Katherine leads us to a little house in a neighborhood and Damon shoves her inside as we follow her in.

“No sudden moves. No tricks either. No Katherine-ing.” Damon demands.

Katherine walks further into the house while Damon, Rebekah, and I look around.

“Wow. A quilt and a fish aquarium. Who the hell are you?” Damon asks.

“A very old lady with terrible taste.” I say and Damon smiles a little bit. Rebekah laughs and watches as Katherine pulls a box off of the bookshelf. She opens it and digs around in it.

Her face changes and she looks up at us. “It’s gone. The cure, it was in the safe, but it’s not there.” She says and Damon shakes his head.

“Nope. Not falling for it. Where is it, Auntie Katherine?” Damon asks.

“I swear it was in the safe.” Katherine says seriously.

“What, just like Elijah’s really your boyfriend and this is really your life?” Rebekah questions.

“For all we know, this isn’t even your house.” I add and Rebekah nods.

“Yeah, it doesn’t look like the Katherine I know.” Damon speaks.

“Maybe you don’t Katherine at all. Did it ever occur to you that you have no idea who I really am?” Katherine asks angrily.

“Did it ever occur to you that you’re not that deep? This whole small town girl thing, we all know is an act.” Damon fires back.

“Where is the cure?” Rebekah asks. Katherine smiles a little bit and Rebekah lunges at her. Before she can do anything, Damon steps in between them, looking at Rebekah.

“Whoa, whoa. Hang on. We need her alive.” He tells Rebekah. “The cure’s not here. You check upstairs, we’ll check down.”

Katherine keeps a smile on her face while Rebekah sighs and walks up the steps.

“So, if I was a paranoid, distrustful sociopath, where would I keep my most prized possession?” Damon asks, walking around the living room.

“This should be fun.” Katherine laughs.

“Because I’d want it to be close, but not on me. Accessible, but not obvious. I’d want to keep it safe, but not so safe that it’d be too difficult to grab and run.” Damon says, stopping in front of the fish tank as a smile grows on my face. “Well, that is a fancy little treasure chest…in a tank with no fish.”

I try to hide my proud smile while Katherine stays quiet.

“I think I’m gonna have to check that out.” Damon says, reaching into the tank. He groan in pain when his arm hits the water. He quickly pulls his arm back out. “Vervain water. Looks like we have a winner.”

Damon picks up a net lying next to the tank to scoop the box out of the water. Before he can get it, Katherine rushes over to him and pushes his head underwater, holding it there as he thrashes around.

She pulls him out and throws him to the floor. I hear him groaning in pain, and I want to make sure he’s okay, but Katherine rushes towards the door with the chest in her hand.

I speed over and stop her in front of the door.

“Give it to me or you’re dead.” I growl strongly.

“You and Damon want to kill me anyway because I did this to you. So what’s more important to you, huh? Killing me or getting the cure?” She asks, pulling the small bottle from the chest and throwing it into the air behind me.

I run to get the cure before Rebekah can, and Katherine zooms out of the house. I see the vial of the cure on the ground and I lunge for it. Before I can get it, Rebekah rushes down the steps and slams me out of the way.

I fall to the ground as Rebekah picks up the vial.

“Look, Rebekah…don’t even think about it.” Damon says, slowly getting up and walking over to her. I take a deep breath and stand to my feet. “Let’s just talk about this, like the two rational vampires that we are.”

“Rebekah?” I ask when she doesn’t respond, staring at the bottle in her hands.

“Give it a rest. Me taking this cure is the best thing that’ll ever happen to you, Damon. You can have Ashley for the rest of forever.” She says, keeping her eyes on the vial.

“Don’t do anything stupid.” Damon says carefully.

“Admit it. You didn’t want it for Elena, you wanted it because Ashley wanted to be human again. You wanted to do what was right by her. If I take it, Ashley can’t and it doesn’t have to be your fault.” Rebekah says, looking up at Damon. “Am I wrong?”

I look at Damon with sadness in my eyes and he doesn’t say anything.

“That’s what I thought.” Rebekah says with a smile.

She quickly pulls the lid off the vial and before I can react, she puts it to her mouth and drinks it.

“No!” I yell as the front door opens and Stefan walks in to see what has happened. Rebekah coughs and gasps before falling down on the couch and passing out.

***

“Did you even try to stop her?” Stefan asks Damon angrily. Rebekah is still unconscious on the couch.

“You forgot the part where I was bobbing for boxes in vervain water.” Damon spits.

“All you had to do was stall her, Damon.”

“Sorry, it’s Rebekah. I didn’t have a pony to distract her, Stefan.” Damon scoffs, getting upset.

I stay quiet, not making eye contact with him. Damon told me he would do whatever he could to get me that cure even though I wanted Elena to have it. It was all a lie though, he never wanted me to have it. He wanted me to be like this…with him…forever.

“You let her take it, didn’t you? You were never on my side. Now Ashley will be a vampire for the rest of her life just like you wanted and we can’t even give the cure to Elena to save her from herself.” Stefan argues.

He’s interrupted when Rebekah gasps and wakes up.

“How do you feel?” Stefan asks her.

“I…I feel good. I…I feel great. I feel alive.” Rebekah says, smiling. It must be a nice feeling.

“Slight problem with being alive…” Damon speaks up from the corner of the room. “I can kill you now.”

Before Rebekah can react, Damon throws a letter opener at her. She moves her hand up at vampire speed and catches it. The opener slices her skin, but it heals right away.

“I’m still a vampire.” Rebekah whispers. “The cure didn’t work.”

“It worked just like Katherine wanted it to.” Stefan says with a sigh. “The cure was fake. It must’ve been a concentrated shot of vervain or something.”

I look over at Damon who is smiling a little bit. I’m not sure why he’s happy because I sure as hell am not.

***

Damon and I are walking in silence on a dark street towards his car. I take a deep breath and he stops walking. I stop too and I turn to face him.

“Stefan was right.” He says and I frown at him. “I let Rebekah take the cure. I thought for a second…I mean, literally just a second…if Rebekah takes this, then I get what I want. You forever. I knew you wanted the cure for Elena, but I also knew that Elena didn’t want it. I figured the cure would eventually fall to your hands and you would take it, leaving me to live forever, like this without you.”

I exhale deeply as I take in his words. As mad at him as I am, his words touch my heart.

“And then Rebekah took it. And I realized how badly I screwed up.” He continues.

“So, what’s your point, Damon?” I ask, trying not to give in to him too easily.

“My point is, I’m sorry, okay? I had a moment of weakness. You tend to cause those for me a lot. You are my weakness, Ashley.” He confesses and I smile a little bit.

“Look, Damon, I think it’s stupid of us to keep arguing about what we’re going to do with the cure when we don’t even have it.” I tell him and he nods.

“You’re right. Let’s get the cure, and then we’ll talk.”

“Wait, you still want to get the cure, even if it means you might lose me?” I ask, looking up into his eyes.

“I don’t ever want to lose you, Ashley.” He says, placing his hands on my face. “But I want you to be happy. Whether that means giving the cure to Elena, or taking it yourself, or throwing it into the Atlantic Ocean. It’ll be up to you.”

“I want it for Elena.” I whisper. “I would love to be human again, but being a vampire with a best friend who has feelings and cares about you…and a boyfriend who loves you…that would be pretty good too.” I say with a small smile.

Damon smiles too and he leans in, moving his lips close to mine. He’s about to kiss me when someone clears their throat.

I turn my head to see Stefan. “Have you guys seen Elena?” He asks.

***

The three of us walk into the diner from earlier where Elena is sitting at a table by herself. I sit down next to Damon, and Stefan sits next to Elena.

“You alright?” I ask Elena. She looks at us, but doesn’t say anything.

“What’s up with the silent treatment? You’re the one that texted us and wanted to meet up.” Damon tells her.

“You know I don’t want the cure. You need to know that I never will and I’m done talking about it. So…will you accept that and let me be who I am, or not?” She asks directly.

“Yeah, no.” Damon says, shaking his head.

“Elena, this isn’t you.” Stefan tells her gently.

“It is now.” She snaps. “And you all really need to accept it. Because if you don’t, there will be consequences.”

She takes a sip of her drink and the three of us exchange worried looks before turning back to Elena.

“Listen, Stefan was in the exact some situation that you’re in right now. His emotions were off. He wasn’t himself. And I refused to accept that. I didn’t give up on him.” I tell Elena. “And I’m not gonna give up on you either.”

Stefan and Damon both nod at my words. Elena finishes her drink and the waitress walks over to us, pouring more into Elena’s cup.

“Let me just top that off for you.” She says with a smile.

“Thank you.” Elena smiles up at her.

Suddenly, Elena jumps up and snaps the waitress’ neck, causing me to gasp and cover my hand over my mouth.

“Oh.” Damon says quietly.

“Like I said, consequences. That’s one body you three are responsible for. If you keep trying to fix me, there’ll be a second, a twentieth, and a hundredth. It’s your choice.” Elena says coldly before walking out of the diner.

Damon, Stefan, and I all look at each other completely speechless. I decide in that moment that I can’t take the cure. I will get through this, but Elena will not.

I will get the cure for her. And I will convince her to take it. This isn’t about me anymore.

I’m gonna be fine.
