Megan's POV
It was a Wednesday morning and I begrudgingly got out of my bed to get ready for lessons. Lily and Freya were already up and half done with getting ready. Lily doing her hair and Freya putting on her robe.
"Wow thanks for waking me up" I rolled my eyes joking as I sat up.
"Oops sorry, I was going to and then I forgot" Freya explained as she grabbed her bags, "I'm off to meet Sirius bye!" She quickly left.
Rolling my eyes I got up and started to get changed into my uniform and robes, thank god I had a shower last night.
"Maybe we can skip today" I grumbled as Lily and I walked down into the common room.
The marauders were all there besides Sirius who had left with Freya a few minutes earlier.
"Morning" James grumbled.
Remus looked up from his book and kissed my cheek as I had walked over to him. Placing his book away he took my hand and we began walking down the moving stairs to the great hall to grab some breakfast.
"I'm really craving toast" I began as we were stuck on a moving stair.
"I had that last week I ate like 10 slices in one go" James chuckled.
We quickly made it into the great hall and spotted Sirius and Freya smiling and talking as well as Sirius flirting to her like always.
Smiling we all sat down. Myself next to Remus and James and Lily sat next to Freya opposite us. Peter was on Sirius' other side.
As we sat food popped up and I immediately grabbed some bacon and eggs.
"Eww we have herbology today" Freya grumbled.
"At least we've already done mandrakes I don't think I'd be able to deal with their screaming" Lily shuddered.
I nodded and soon the post started to come in. A newspaper was dropped down but with it was two letters... Red letters.
Signed to Me and Sirius.
"Uhhh..Sirius.." I said in confusion as I picked up the letter.
"Why do we have howlers? I hope I did nothing wrong whilst staying at your house" I said as I held the red letter in my hand.
"That's so weird who would send them?" Remus asked as he looked at the writing.
Sirius paled as he looked at his, "oh god... it's from my mother.." Sirius muttered.
"Wh-what?" I tilted my head. "What is it about?"
"Maybe open then and find out idiots" James joked and laughed but quickly shut up when Lily hit him on the head.
"Who first?" Sirius asked.
"You can go first" I grimaced. There was no way I wanted to open mine.
Sirius started to peel back the Wax but it suddenly flew out his hand.
"SIRIUS BLACK WHY ON EARTH HAVE I RECEIVED INFORMATION FROM YOUR FRIEND THAT YOU HAVE NOT BROKEN UP WITH THAT WRETCHED GIRL AND ARE NOT DATING MEGAN! YOU ARE A DISAPPOINT TO OUR FAMILY ONCE MORE,HOW DARE YOU GO BEHIND OUR BACKS AND BETRAY US. WE RAISED YOU BETTER. YOU MUST COME HOME IMMEDIATELY TO DISCUSS THE CONSEQUENCES AND IF YOU DON'T ABLIGE THERE WILL BE SERIOUS CONSEQUENCES"
The great hall was silent. Despite the fact it was half full no one spoke, they were all staring at the marauders and us girls.
Sirius was pale.
I took a deep breath and opened up the envelope.
"MEGAN SHADOWS WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING,I WOULD EXPECT YOU COMING FROM A PUREBLOOD FAMILY YOU WOULD HAPPILY MARRY INTO THE NOBLE HOUSE OF BLACK.WHY HAVE YOU FAILED TO DUMP THAT FLEABAG OF A WOLF AND NOT COMPILE TO OUR DEMANDS. YOUR MOTHER AND FATHER WILL BE EXPECTING YOU TO GO AND KNOCK SOME SENSE INTO YOUR HEAD."
The red envelope tore itself up and I was shaken. Did they just put Remus' and possibly my own lycanthropy....
Remus grabbed my hand and before I knew it we were following the others outside.
Freya was so frustrated that she began kicking a tree, it was as if she was knocking sense into the tree and not my own head.
Remus pulled me into a tight hug.
"It's okay we can figure out who exposed our plans, and I won't let you break up with me" Remus chuckled.
Sirius let out a deep sigh and sat down on the grass. Everyone else quickly followed and we all sat in a circle.
"Who would do that?" Peter spoke up.
I looked around the group and leaned towards Remus and he wrapped his arm around my waist pulling me closer and kissed my cheek.
"Everyone who we told us here right?" James asked.
Looking around the circle I nodded.
"Yeah... it makes no sense" Freya spoke up, "unless someone here betrayed us" Freya glanced to Lily.
"That wasn't me! That was Amy and you know it" Lily argued to Freya before anyone could even begin to accuse her of betraying.
I learnt over and squeezed Lily's hand , "Don't worry I believe you."
As we began trying to figure out who did it our attention was drawn to a person in green robes walking towards us, they held a smirk on their face.
"Wow.... You know I can't believe you guys actually trusted me" the person spoke up.
"I was sitting there the whole time, I may not be a pureblood but I have my connections" she spoke.
I glared at her as she continued. No one dared to speak up.
"I'm a slytherin, of course I can pull a few strings and just so happen to become besties with the one person who's relationship I wanted to destroy. Good luck trying to fix it" the girl giggled and walked away.
How could we have been so stupid! Emma was there the entire time, of course the snake in her had to be revealed at some point. I felt my own tears coming, why is everyone out to get me and Remus.
Remus pulled me into another hug. "Why...why does this always happen to me, first Amy, then technically Lily and now Emma" I choked out.
I felt someone hug we from behind and then Sirius shouted "group hug!"
I began laughing but the force in which they hugged maybe me become uncomfortable and also struggle to breath. "You can let go"
As I was released from the big Sirius looked at me dead in the eyes. "I have plan"

Sirius POV
It was the weekend and I had to make my way back home to my families house. Luckily my mother allowed me to come by floo because there was no way I was taking a 7 hour train journey in my own.
It was about 1pm when I had plucked up the courage and boldly spoke "12 Grimmauld Place".
Wow the name really does fit the atmosphere grim old place . As I landed in the living room my family were already seated.
From the disapproving tuts I already knew they expected me to dress up. But they don't deserve me looking at my finest.
"So you came" my mother spoke in slight surprise.
"Mhm" I nodded and sat down opposite the failures of parents I had.
"Speak properly Sirius" my dad growled.
"Speak properly Sirius" I mocked under my breath.
The father leant back gritting his teeth, "let's make this short shall we, break up with that girl and date Megan"
I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms over my chest as I leant back on the sofa.
I then leant forward, "no you listen to what I have to say"
The parents glanced at each other and gave each other unsure looks but my mother motioned me to carry on.
"You won't make me date Megan" I looked my parents dead in the eyes.
"You won't make me break up with Freya"
I stood up making sure my eye contact didn't break.
"You won't have me follow your rules"
My father let out a low laugh breaking eye contact, "you really think that trying to perform the Imperious Charm would work"
I gulped, damn I hadn't been subtle enough. I guess I will have to be good with my words now.
I slammed my wand onto the old coffee table with force.
"DO YOU REALLY THINK I WANT TO LIVE HERE?!" I raised my voice. That made them jump. Good.
I began shouting at them, "you gave me no freedoms, no actual love Regulus got all of that, I feel like I'm suffocating in this house, you make me do things I don't want to do, and I have to live under these stupid rules which don't even let me live my life. that's why I don't want to follow your stupid guidelines" I took a deep breath.
"Yes well-" my mother began.
"I'M NOT FINISHED!" I glared at them and stepped towards them, they took a step back.
"I want to leave this rotten house and get away from here forever, I don't even want to be associated with any of you, you can burn me for all I care! You really think that I want to be part of this family when I can't love who I love. So just burn me like Alphard and Cedrella, like Marius and Phineas. I will go and enjoy my life how I want and be happy just like them. I will leave this house and never return because I for sure never want to step foot in this household whilst you are still alive"
My parents looked shocked and scared. I'd done my job. What I needed to do.
"Fine get out of this house Sirius and never return" my father lit up his wand and immediately stuck it into the family tree on the wall. My face was being burnt and boy did it feel good.
