Vernon smiled as he held Y/n's hand tightly, they were walking together, " What does my wife wanna do today?"
Vernon turned his head to Y/n and she just gave him a small smile
" Let's just relax..." she said in a low tone which made Vernon worry " Are you okay?" he cups her cheeks and placed his hand on her forehead, " You're not sick are you?"
Y/n removed his hands from her cheeks and smiled and shook her head, " I'm fine, can we go home?" Vernon smiled and ruffled her hair, " Sure "
They finally arrived home and Y/n slowly took off her shoes as well as Vernon, " Vernon?" Vernon hummed looking at her
" Can I go somewhere later? It's urgent" Vernon smiled, " Sure why not?"
Vernon has noticed Y/n has been going out a lot lately, he didn't know why but it was kinda making him worried
he who trusts her so much knows that she will tell him why one day, so he just continued to love her with his whole heart
Vernon back hugged Y/n as she was about to go inside their room
" What's wrong?" Y/n asks, " I was just noticing you haven't been yourself these days
" Y/n chuckles, " I'm fine, just really tired nowadays, " they entered the room and Y/n made him let go of the hug, " I'll use the bathroom for a sec, okay?"
Vernon smiled and pecked her forehead, Vernon looked around their room spotted something, piles of paper sticking out under the bed
he knelt and picked them up, he felt like his heart shattering when he read the words on the paper
" V-Vernon...." Vernon stood up and threw the papers at her, " What's this!? "
Y/n started to sob quietly, " Is this why you've been acting up lately? Y/n why?" Y/n picked up the divorce papers and Vernon watched her every move
" C-Can you please sign this-"
" Are you serious? Y/n what did I do? Please I can change, I don't want a divorce- I just get out first, please " Vernon sighed
Y/n gently placed the papers on the table and walked out of the room, but Y/n had a reason why she wanted a divorce
~ A few hours later ~
" How have you been feeling these days?" Y/n smiled
" Well I feel weaker and weaker, but I can continue with my routine, " You can lower down your blood pressure to lessen the risks of dying too early, "
The doctor sat in front of Y/n, " But I can still die right?" the doctor nods, " I mean there is no cure, but don't get your hopes down! It won't go away completely, but you can lessen it right?" Y/n nods
" And I heard about you wanting to get a divorce, you and he are happy aren't you? " Y/n nods
" But I might die even if I lessen the risk, I want to divorce Vernon make sure he's happy with another woman before I die " the doctor pats her shoulder
Y/n had CAD ( coronary artery disease ), she began noticing going to the doctor a few months ago
knowing that there's a risk of dying made her close her heart towards Vernon, even though she loved him a lot, " I hope you make the right decision "
the doctor smiles at Y/n, but behind that door who was listening to their conversation the whole time was Vernon
as Y/n opened the door she found Vernon who had tears rolling down from his cheeks, Y/n was scared, but Vernon hugged her tightly and sobbed on her shoulder
" P-Please don't leave me "
