Asylum

Chapter 2:

They opened the dusty old doors, they creaked as they closed behind them. Leaving the group inside the dark, dusty building. "This place is already lame," Tara sighs, Harry flicks her on the back of her head. "Don't be such a downer." He says.

"I want to go to the top!" Scarlett exclaims. Niall looks at her, his blue orbs shimmering in the moonlight coming from the broken window beside him. "Me too," he adds. Niall and Scarlett were much alike, in looks and personality. They fought like siblings a lot as well.

They began to walk. The halls were narrow and had broken glass scattered everywhere along with graffiti on the walls filling every inch of it. Scarlett and Niall walked a little slower than the rest of the group, talking amongst themselves about how cool it would be to live in an asylum.

Niall and Scarlett were weird like that. They understood each other on levels other people could not. They both had weird horror sides that both were scared to explore. But they explored together. With their friends dragging them along of course.

They finally found the staircase and began climbing, nothing much on the staircase except demonic symbols. "They say this place is still haunted by patients," Tara explains, as if we didn't know. "Well I can't wait to find me some ghosts!" Louis yells, Harry quieting him down because they couldn't draw attention to themselves for fear of getting caught by the cops.

They explored more of the floors and levels. They ended up splitting up into groups, niall and Scarlett, Harry and tara, zayn, Liam and Louis. Scarlett wanted to go to the top, so that's where they went.

"The view is beautiful! It's so peaceful up here." Scarlett says, Niall was looking out among the trees and ocean that was far away but close enough to be in eye view.

"I'd say the view is very beautiful." Niall says, but he wasn't talking about the trees and ocean. He was talking about Scarlett. He has had a thing for her for as long as anyone has remembered. The way they got along and just everything about her, had Niall in a daze.

The daze was broken by a screeching sound from below. It sounded much like Tara.
