SHE, WHO SUFFERS ANXIETY

I'm worried for my best friend. It's been weeks since she suffers anxiety. But his father didn't even care about her. He doesn't understand what my best friend is having. I can't take this anymore. I want to take care of her instead.

I went to their house to visit her, para naman hindi niya ma-feel na mag-isa lang siya.

I sighed before entering her room.

Pagkabukas ko ng pinto ay bumungad sa akin ang isang babaeng umiiyak. I was surprised when I saw her covered with blanket, crying and comforting herself.

I went straightly to her and gave her a big hug.

"Sophia, nandito na ako. Tahan na..." I said, and even tight my hug.

Habang yakap ko siya ay nararamdaman ko ang nginig niya sa takot. She's biting the tip of her nails while crying and overthinking. I think she's stressed.

Pinakalma ko muna siya, hinaplos ang likod niya at ipinaramdam na huwag siyang matakot, saka ako nagtanong.

"Can you tell me what's going on?" I asked.

"I-I d-don't k-know what t-to a-answer on my m-modules. I-I'm a-afraid I'll f-fail t-this y-year..." Her voice cracked and tears started streaming on her cheeks. "Hindi ko na alam. I'm stress and keep overthinking kung ano na ang gagawin, pero wala akong maisip na paraan, hindi ko alam kung ano ang sisimulan. Look at my scores, hindi pa naka abot sa passing score. If I fail this year, mapapagalitan na naman ako ni Papa. Ayaw ko na. Natatakot ako. May online class pa. I even have been assigned to report, pero wala pa akong nasisimulan... Hindi ko na kaya. Bakit ba sabay-sabay lahat? No one even wants to help me, I asked for it, but no one is willing. They all care about their selves. They're still so competent about academics. I don't care about my honors, anymore. I just want to survive this school year... I'm afraid to be a failure." she added.

I just lowered my head, cried, and said, "I feel you."

Ramdam ko ang bawat salitang binitawan niya, dahil lahat ng sinabi niya ay nararanasan ko mismo. Want to know why?
