"Mhm she better had replaced it. Imma treat her ass when we go out tomorrow night." I say rolling my eyes looking back at my homework.

Clair hugs me tight asking me how my day went. We talked for a while then she tells me how she met this girl at her book club session who she thought was cute.

"What's the girl name?" I asked Clair.

"Nah ion wanna tell you because you might scare her off or some shit." She says laughing.

I gave her a stale face."girl shut up what's her name?"

"Her name is Amya Johns."

My mouth opened agape. "She's in my architectural class. We was partners for a project. She seems pretty nice when I worked with her."

"Shit tell her to holla at me then." Clair says writing a note.

"Bitch we are in college not middle school. You grown enough to talk to her yourself because I ain't passing her a damn note." Grabbing my phone I browse around trying to find something I want to eat.

She sighs and sits on her bed."you right Ro but what if she not into that stuff?"

"Then move around Clair what you mean. It's not the end of the world if she not into girls. Girl what you want to eat I'm buyin?"

We came to an agreement to get tacos. After placing the order we drive to get the food. Stella works there as a waitress so of course we had to see our girl.

"Y'all bitches stay eating." Stella says handing me the bag of food.

"Girl hush you act like yo ass don't eat the food on the clock."

"I do bitch." We all laugh and say our goodbyes to Stella as we exit the restaurant.

As soon as we walk out the door I see Nel holding on the arm of some dark skin guy. We make eye contact as we walk past each other.

"You know her or something?" Clair says opening her car door.

"Why you ask?" I said taking out my phone.

"You just stared her down like y'all got beef or something." She starts up the car cranking on the heat.

"It's nothing girl."

Holy shit! What in the fuck is this bitch doing here!?! Out of all the places to be seen why here and now.

I text Kai telling him that I saw Nel and he instantly called me. I declined the call because I didn't want Clair to be right, we did have some beef back in the day. Let me not worry about it though because I know I'm gonna get antsy about it.

On the way back to our dorm we jam to some music then Clair parks in Walmart pulling out a blunt in the glove compartment. She lights it up and passes it to me. I missed smoking I ain't smoked in about 6 months because college is a handful for me. 

We started eating afterwards it didn't take long for me to get high. I get a text from Chase asking if I wanted to go to this kickback with him at his friends house. After a while of thinking I tell him yea. Then I tell Clair to take me back to the dorm because I have homework I wanna finish before the weekend.

Driving back to dorm we pull up to see a couple arguing outside. As we get out the car we sneak up the stairs trying ease drop on them arguing. This girl dead ass kicked him in the balls then took his car and left while he was trying to run after her. Like damn bro sucks to be you.

Getting settled into my bed I eat a few then get straight back to my homework while Clair fell asleep. Me and Clair had an agreement to leave the lights on if one of us was still up doing homework just so we can get it finished. We valued each other's careers and dreams so we did what we could to be there for each other.

After a long 3 hours of finishing I call Kai to see if he's awake and he answers.

"So how did you see Nel? This shit is unreal how the fuck is she out there?"  Kai says as soon as he answers the phone.

"Hello to you too nigga....I don't know man but I'm not worried about her."

He smacks his lips saying. "Well I am. You don't know what this bitch is out there for so keep a close eye out for her ass. We don't need no more damn drama."

"Oh for real? I thought you be happy to see her since you fucked her behind my back." I say to him rolling my eyes.

"Really Rora? You dead ass gone bring that shit up again? It's not my fault that shit happened." His voice starts getting louder in anger.

"Chill out I was kidding but I'm going to sleep baby goodnight." I say holding up the deuces.

"Aight well I love you Aurora don't forget that. I also have surprise for you but you'll have to wait til tomorrow. Goodnight baby." He says before blowing me a kiss through the phone.

"I love you too Kai." I say smiling as my voice gets higher.

One thing that man knew how to do was make me blush and wet.
