POV: Eadlyn Schreave

I knew that I made the right choice. As I knocked on the door I was met by the face of the man I loved. My whole world. Kile Woodwork

"Eadlyn!" He exclaimed, glad to see me but confused as to why I was here.

"Hey Kile!" I said, matching his energy.

"What're you doing here?" He questioned.

"As you know, I know who I'm going to propose to..." I started.

"So I'm here to ask you a question."

"What?" He asked in a loving tone. My eyes were starting to water which probably wasn't the best sign to him.

"Kile, I love you. I want the beach house you designed, I want a mini-you running around the castle, and tugging on my skirt calling us mommy and daddy. I want a big white wedding with Josie and Ahren and everyone important to us. I want you to be my King and do great things for the country. I want to wake up to your face and go to sleep next to you every night."

At this point I was crying and he was tearing up too.

"I guess what I'm asking, Kile, is that I want you to be my husband and the Prince.." I said. I took a break to calm myself. Somehow, I couldn't so un-surprisingly, Kile got down on one knee.

"I'm half sure I imagined that," he said, earning a watery chuckle out of me.

"But, if you actually just said those things, Eadlyn, will you marry me?"

We both were crying now but I manged to speak through the knot in my throat. My heart was beating out of my chest, like it was trying to get to him.

"Yes, Kile, yes. I will absolutely marry you."

I sank down to my knees too and pulled him in for a kiss. Our lips joined together and parted at the same time. We both drew in a breath at the same time while our tongues played a game of tug-of-war. After we broke apart, he hugged me tighter than ever.

After, some time of us being mushy we stood and after wiping off our faces (mine of which had makeup running down it) walked over to the box I had put on the table. I opened it revealing almost thirty rings, all made for a queen.

"It's for you to pick." I said.

After staring at his options for a while he finally lifted up a gold band with diamonds all around it. It had a skirt and reminded me of a beautiful flower. When I looked through these earlier, that one was my pick. He runs his finger over the front of the ring. Then, he softly pulls up my left hand and slips the ring on my ring finger. He then plants a soft kiss on my finger. I pull him to me and kiss him softly.

"I love you, Eady." Kile whispers.

"I love you too, Kile." I say.

We stayed there basking in each others light. We were on Cloud 9, in a state of complete bliss. I hated having to go resume my duties, but we needed to get ready for the Report. Once I had firmly made my decision to chose Kile, I had told Henri (and Erik).

"Kile, we need to get ready for the Report. I'll formally propose to you then and everyone will know." I say.

"Okay, I guess you have to go then." He says, slightly disappointed.

I myself got disappointed then. How could I not? I had just got engaged and mere time after we had to separate, however short we would be separated it would be difficult to contain my excitement. Surely, Eloise would see the ring and my lovesick grin. Maybe, it wouldn't be so obvious. I was Queen Eadlyn Schreave and no one in the world was as powerful as me. Kile gave me a quick peck on the cheek, then another on my nose, then on my lips, concluded with my forehead.
