Hi guys! I'm finally back 😛 My internship is over now and I finally have the time to write again so I promise that you won't have to wait that long again for another chapter. Anyways, on to the story! Have fun reading 😁

It's been a few weeks since me & Brad had our little skip day. Him & I were hanging out every day like we usually would, which is so nice. It seems like our little fight never happened. He's also doing his extra best to make me forgot. Bless him!

Every single morning, he would drive me to school. And then again after school, he would drive me and Charlie to my home.

Oh yeah, I should probably tell you that me & Charlie have been hanging out a lot more as well. We went shopping last week and yesterday we went to the movies. I'm really starting to grow on her.

I just love her bubbly spirit and the way she makes me laugh. She never seizes to surprise me with her attitude.

Today it's Friday and we have a sleepover planned. Apparently her dad is out of town this weekend for his work. She doesn't want to stay at home alone, so I offered her to stay over. My parents were not really happy about it but I managed to change their minds.

So here we are, almost finished with class. Sitting in our usual seats, right next to each other. Focusing on class while writing notes in our notebook. Me & Charlie are the only ones who still write notes on actual paper, everyone else is busy typing away on their laptop.

A part of me is happy that Charlie is like that as well. Now I'm not the only who's old school in class.

Before we know it, the bell rings. Signalizing that class is over.

"So, what are our plans this weekend?" Charlie asks while we gather our stuff.

I hadn't really thought of that. To be honest, I was too busy hanging out with Brad.

"Uuuhm, I hadn't really thought about it, if I'm being honest."

She looks at me like a deer caught in headlights.

"You're telling me you have absolutely nothing planned?" She asks in disbelieve.

"Honestly, I kind of like the wing it sleepover. The ones where you just do random stuff."

"You're no fun."

She crosses her arms, pouts and walks towards the door. I just smile at her childlike attitude. When I leave the classroom, I think that she is already outside since she is nowhere to be seen in the hallway. Damn that girl is fast.

Upon going outside, I see that she is indeed already outside, waiting by my car. I told Brad not to drive me since I was taking Charlie with me after school.

He threw a tantrum but agreed in the end. That boy is something else.

While I was in class, he sent me a text saying that he and Cleo were going to hang out after school. Because I was in class, I didn't reply so I quickly pull out my phone and reply to his message.

A: 'Use protection!'

I finally reach Charlie and unlock the car. Within a second, she opens the passenger door and sits in the passenger seat.

Her enthusiasm is very infectious. It immediately puts a smile on my face.

As soon as we start driving, I feel my phone vibrating in my pocket. I immediately know that it is Brad replying with a sarcastic response.

Charlie's & I small talk and hysterically laughter throughout the car ride is backed up with music from the radio.

"And all I did was just stand there! I was completely frozen. It's like my feet were nailed to the ground."
