ᴏᴄꜱ - ᴇʀᴛʜɪᴏɴ ᴀɴᴅ ʟɪɴɴɪᴏɴ

Good morning, my little elflings!

So... if you're not new to my artbook you probably have heard way to often, that I'm currently working on my book "Ashes" over on my second account Amarthel (yeah yeah.... I get that you guys know it slowly, but I'm excited about it, so I'll just mention it a gazillion times until my next writing project comes along).

And over there we have our main character Bronadan, who is also the father of Ruindîr. Here's the front red for him, in case you forgot how he looked since the chapter before this one.... and in case you forgot his colour palette.... The dyed hair does indeed come quite a bit later in the story though, so for most of the time he just has his natural red curls....

Now that we have successfully remembered Bronadans glory, I'd like to intoduce to you two friends of his, that are very important:

Erthion and Linnion.

... yeah... they don't know each other. Erthion popps up in Part 2 of Ashes and Linnion in Part 3 and I use them to reflect Bronadans desires in life in different phases he's going through.

So yeah! Let's start with Erthion then:

He was born in those two sketches, that watty refuses to show the proper way around... The goal was, to make him represent the punk-equivalent culture that Bronadan get's thrown into during homelesness.
This was especially interesting, when designing his appearance properly and thinking of clothing for him.

In the end I'd also like to use his character to make Bron realise his own character development and how his own life had changed for the better over the years, since our little prince never saw the destructive nature in his way of living.

So what does Erthion do, how does he live and what's his personality like?
Well, he's very nihilistic in most of his approaches, and yet extremely excited in nearly everything he does. He plays music as a passion, is an environmental activist, whilst also believing in anarcho-communism and fighting for the downfall of the monarchy.
He became a drug addict after his father died and got thrown out of the house because of it, living homeless for most of his life that day since, until meeting another musician.
The two of them lived together in an appartment, financing their life through playing shows and helping out at cafés or bars, until his friend decided to go to rehab and start a new life.

Erthion then kinda picked up Bron from the streets and the two lived together until Bron had to flee from the Empty Eye Clan. The two kept in contact via letters for a whole while, until Erthion stopped responding, since he was homeless again and couldn't afford paper anymore.

Overall he's very extreme in his beliefs, is completly devoted to his fixed view upon things and determined to make the world a better place, eventhough he doesn't know how. He's also very messy and chaotic, eventhough below all of that "nope, stay away from him"-energy there is still a loving and caring guy, who likes literature, music, history and cooking.

Let's come to Linnion. Linnion also picks up Bronadan from the streets and let him live with him. Other than Erthion though, Linnion is a model citizen, living together with his elder brother in an apartment and being part of the city guards.
Linnion is indeed hella clumsy and get's scared easily. His need to never do anything wrong does indeed make him seem a bit uptight and childish, but he's good at heart and always tries his best to make the people around him happy.

Other than that, he's very orderly with a pure chaotic energy that nobody can quite comprehend. His room looks like trash and he himself looks a mess, and yet he has a fixed plan for everything and knows precisely where everything he owns is at the moment. He also knows where everyone elses stuff is... and he usualy knows other peoples plans and shifts better than the person themselves.
He's also a fan of weapons and battle tactics, whith tons of books on the history of those in his bookshelves.

So yeah! Those are my two boys, to the left we have our musical junkie and our literall angel is on the right:
