Suilad my darlings!

Soooooooooooooooooooooooo...... remember Ruindîr? If not, then you must be new around here, in which case I will welcome you to this mess of my artbook ^-^

Now. Some of you may remember this really crappy ref-sheet I made of him in.... may? Anyways, here it is again, so you don't need to go and hunt through my artbook:

Well, the crucial difference is, that he went through a lot of character development throughout 2020... probably more than most of my characters... (okay... Bron got an entire redemption arc and Phen is... well, not dead. And then we have Cevrond who suddenly morphed into being a god..... yeah, I actually changed way to many OCs...)

So now we have this dude. And I wanted to make a new ref sheet, which also fit's neatly with the christmas-secret-santa organised by jyneaa ^-^

Plan was, to have his name on there, since I forgot in the first one -_-" , I also wanted to have a full body with an outfit of his, which also shows his personality a bit.

So I drew a handy dandy portrait and started to sketch out this... thing:

so I went ahead and sketched him, as an artist does, since we all can't be Huta Chan and magically produce lineart out of nowhere. This was also the moment in which I realised, that I never drew this dudes face in 3/4 perspektive... and that was scary, because I had no reference for him now whatsoever...

Otherwise I decided to make this first sketch mainly to portray his relaxed self, since we get the strict ruler personality on page 2, the godly-ruthless side of his on page 3 and on page 4 we get the depressed and insane part of his personality.
I thus threw the outfit on the left on his tiny body (dang... the poor lad is so skinny that it's a pain to sketch out his proportions):

And then I threw some scrolls in his hand, because my boy likes to build together magical mashines in his free time :D
Oh... and Ru usually doesn't wear his arm and leg prosthetics when he doesn't have that much work to do, so I also wanted to throw that in there. More info about the prosthetics themselves will be found on page 2, if everything goes by plan that is ^-^"

Anyways. So then I had the sketch and started to line the entire thing. I was extremely tempted to just use the sketch as lienart, but since I used parts of the outfit sketch I didn't really have a choice QwQ

And in the end, I think I lost the likeness in his facial features. It still bothers me and I still am tempted to go back and redo the face. But I won't because I'm a busy gal... just.... see the sketch as the more accurate face, kay?

Yeah. I had a ton of fun working out the mechanics of his crutch, since it has this rather natural walking thing going on, making things a lot easier for Ru, especially with his missing arm ^-^

And then... well then I added the colours... which was fun but also a pain, because it was getting late and I desperately wanted to get the picture done before sunday xD

But since I don't know what else to add I'll just shove the final product in your face:
