So, since I am slowly getting used to drawing on my tablet now, I decided to try and draw a typical portrait drawing of mine, in an attempt to make it look as close to my normal works as possible.

So here we are! Guess who my two test subjects were??

yeah, I forgot that you can read titles.... and I forgot that I put the names in the title... so that was a surprise I already stole...

Anyways, I decided to draw the cutest couple in the entirety of my books: Maethdess and Feredir. Why? Oh, because I am working quite a bit on their stories at the moment and missed drawing my girl ^-^"
I also finally wanted to draw Feredir with his wild hair and tattoos, since I always drew him before he got this really cool dude.

I don't have work in progresses, BUTT I have something better... well, I will have something better, since I recorded my process (long live that tablet) and will upload a speedpaint of that sometime on my YouTube account :D

I'll probably update this chapter as soon as the video is out and stick that somewhere here, but I'll also throw it around in my 2021 Artbook "Jade", so if you're curious, then just stick around my Artb- ...
I just... I just realised that I could've just told you lot to subscribe to my channel, like some wannabe-famous YouTube bloke... hm... anyways, I guess I indirectly just did that too, so there you have it xD

Wel, obviously you aren't here to have me ramble about YouTube, you are here for a drawing and here it is:

It was... oh good lord, so difficult to get the effects right, but also really fun, since it still is a lot of experimenting. Especially with the lineart-brushes, since none of the pens in sketchbook seem to have the same pencil-ish texture I desire... but I think I found a pretty good alternative for now ^-^

Also, through experimenting I ended up forgetting some crucial things... like that Dessies tattoos are actually glowing... or Crook's scars... but nonetheless I do indeed like the drawing quite a lot. It always sparks joy to draw Maethdess for some odd reason... she's my only female OC that I draw now and then, which I find kinda interesting >w<

Since I drew that thing nearly a month ago (yes, I am indeed extremely efficient when it comes to chapter-writing, why are you asking?) I can't really remember all too much about the process, so here's some random notes I made in the middle of the night about the Empty Tree Herbal Shop, so you still have a lot of other stuffs to look at or read:
