17. two different worlds

POV Nini

It's been weird with Ricky. I don't really know him like at all so we don't have a lot to talk about. And he talks always about girls, like it is his only topic, not that I care, it's just annoying

"You and douchebag... friends?", Kourt said and chuckled a bit, I give her a warning glare
"We are... friends and not gonna lie it's been really weird", i told her
"Why weird?", she asked me
"We are just from two different worlds, we have nothing in common", i confessed
"Yeah. I could have told you that before you got involved with him", she said disgusted
"Lets not talk about...him. What happened with
the guy, Jackson?"
"He is soo cute and we went on a date, he brought flowers", she said excited.
"Omg, Im so happy for you. You had a crush on him since I came here"

Flashback from 2 weeks

"Who is that?", Kourtney said almost drooling over my book as we sat in english class

"I think he is new. His name is Jackson and he is...", i started

"... a fine man", she continued

"Ask for his number", i slightly pushed her

"Nah. Im good", she said opening her book

"Where did the confident queen Kourt go?", i asked her sarcastically

"she saw him", she slightly pointed to him

"you always tell me to be confident and don't let a guy steal it and now look at you", i pointed out

"i'll talk to him when Im ready", she assured me.

Flashback end

"You deserve this", i said smiling at her

"stop girl. You are gonna make me cry", she chuckled and I hugged her tight, she really became my best friend here.

We get interrupted by people sitting at our table.

"Did we interrupt something?", Big Red asks

"What are you guys doing at our table", she points out

"Since Nini and I are friends now we can all sit at one table", Ricky said

"that doesn't mean you can sit at our table!", she snapped louder and Ricky just rolled his eyes at her and let me tell you nobody rolls their eyes at Kourtney

"sooo... Nini I need your help. Well not really me but Big Red", he said completely ignoring what Kourt said

I didn't say anything I just looked at him confused. What could Big Red possibly want from me?

"Would you give him Ashlyns number?", he asked. Ashlyn? What did I miss?

"Why"

"Because he thinks she is cute"

"No", i said kind of laughing, does he really think Im dumb?

"look dude I told you- wait did you say no?", he asked shocked

"Do you really think, i'll give the number from a really sweet girl to him, he'll probably just play with her", i said mad

"You don't even know me", Red defended

"If you have been spending so much time with Ricky than I do know you and you are not going to hurt my friend", i said getting off the table

"Hopp off girl!", Kourt said proudly and went with me.

POV Ricky

"Did just I thought that was hot?", Ricky asked and Big Red rolled his eyes

"Im never gonna get her number", he said as he was defeated.

"Bro no, just ask her", i said trying to get his confident high and he just sighed. Big Red and I are like two different people, you would think I would have ''turned'' him into me, but he helps me to not go all crazy... so he is the one helping me in a way and I am thankful for him.

"I'll get you her number some how", i said thinking about what I could do.

1. I could just ask her as if I wanted her number
2. Tell her about Red and that he likes her
3. convince Nini to get me her number

So I went with 3 because Nini will help me... she will right?

I walk into the music room where Nini was sitting at the piano humming.

"Hey... Nins", i said breaking her from her trance

"what?", she asked annoyed

"Big Red is nothing like me, he would never hurt Ashlyn I promise", I said to her sitting next to her

"Why should I believe you?"

"Because... we are friends now, right? And friends trust each other and if he hurts her than you can slap me", i said trying to convince her

She tried to hide her smile but she knew I was right and I know she wanted to slap me

"I'll have to talk to Ashlyn first", she said

"No, no. Just give it, it'll be a surprise for her and if she doesn't like him she can just block him", i explained

"fine", she said rolling her eyes

Yes. I knew I could convince her, Im just good at that, but I am good at everything.

"Great", i said heading out but before I left I remembered, "hey, you coming to the party tonight?", i asked

"what party?"
"Im having a party"
"you just had one"
"party's should be everyday"
"No, i don't think..."
"Come on, you can't miss my party. Friends don't miss each other party's", i pointed out.
"Fine, maybe i'll stop by"
