Chapter I

[Jaime]

After all these years, I never thought that this would be happening.

I thought we'd be happy forever, I thought no one could break us apart, but sadly, I was terribly wrong.

'Okay.' I whispered as I slowly walked back to my bunk.

I quietly climbed in and closed the curtains. My headphones went in my ears as I turned up the music to its fullest.

I turned on my side so if anyone decided to open the curtain, they wouldn't see me crying.

'He's in there.' I heard Mike say.

My playlist had reached its end but my headphones were still in my ears.

'Come on buddy, get up. Set time.' Tony said, while shaking me gently.

I took the headphones out of my ears and turned around, thankfully, to only see Mike and Tony standing there.

They looked worried.

But why?

They hadn't hurt me.

'Let me just wash my face and we can get going.' I said softly, my voice almost unrecognizable.

They stepped aside as I got up and out of the bed.

I sauntered in to the bathroom and closed the door.

This was gonna be a long day.

'What if I can't forget you? I'll burn your name into my throat. I'll be the fire that'll catch you.' I screamed my heart out.

I know when I had first written those lyrics and sang them to Vic, they weren't meant for him. But now, as we stand in main stage at Warped Tour 2014, they are.

Sadly.

'Thank you everyone! Have a fucking amazing day!' Vic yelled into the mic.

We walked off stage, everyone patted me on the back saying 'good job' and praising me, everyone except Vic.

He just looked at me, I turned away immediately, not wanting to see his face.

'Hey are you and Vic okay?' Tony asked me.

'I-uh... Ye- no.' I stuttered, rubbing the back of my neck. 'Vic broke off the engagement.'

'WHAT? WHY?!' he yelled, motioning Mike over.

Oh great, I didn't want him finding out too.

If anyone else found out, they'll bash on Vic and then he'll get upset. And I don't want that.

I still love him.

'Mike, Vic broke off the engagement with Jaime.' Tony said, still shocked with the news.

'He what?' Mike asked, obviously shocked.

'Vic broke off the engagement with me.' I said slowly.

'Why did he do that? You guys have been engaged for like two years, you were just a few months away from getting married. What the hell happened?'

'Well he said that he couldn't be with me anymore... Because uh, his uh his heart belonged to someone.. Else.'

'But who?' Mike asked.

'Rachel.' Tony whispered.

I snapped my head up, surprised that he knew.

'How did you know?' I asked.
