I'm Low On Vic & You Need A Jaime.

Chapter IX

~

[Vic]

'Oh God Vic, that-that was amazing.' Jaime panted as he slowly rolled off of me.

'Glad you enjoyed it as much as I did.' I smiled.

'Damn right I did. I love you Vic.'

'I love you too.'

---

We quickly gathered our clothes and slipped them on after we had a quick cuddle session while we caught our breath.

As Jaime and I were walking out hand in hand, we were suddenly stopped by someone clearing their throat, or should I say two someones.

'Can you guys please explain what that is?' Mike demanded as he pointed at our hands.

I felt Jaime let go immediately, and it sucked, it was like a dagger being  jabbed into my stomach.

'Uh, it's nothing.' I lied.

'So you broke up with Rachel?'

'N-No.'

'Well it sure sounded like you did.' Tony said crossing his arms.

'Can we explain at dinner later? We have a show to play.'

'Alright but we want y'all two back at this bus immediately following us.' he said.

'Okay.'

Boy, this was gonna be a looooooong talk.

---

'If you wanted to set me free, why the fuck would you say something?' I sang as I walked on stage. 'See I was just over 17, made of poison set me free. Oh no please, don't abandon me.' I continued singing as I put the strap over my shoulder and placed my guitar in front of me. 'Mother father, I love you so, but this is just me disguised as me. I'm the killer who burned your hoooooooooooooome.'

I looked over at Jaime who was busy looking out into the crowd as he played that bass.

Yeah, this is what I lived for.

'This home!' I screamed. 'This is the street youth rising, uuuuup!'

We all started jumping as we began playing 'Hell Above.'

'I cannot spend another night in this home

I close my eyes and take a breath real slow

The consequence is if I leave I'm alone

But what’s the difference when you beg for love?' I sang as I looked at Jaime.

'As I run through the glass in the street

Kerosene hearts carry the name that my father gave me

And take the face of the wolf

'Cause this is a wasteland, my only retreat

With heaven above you, there's hell over me.' I sang before Jaime started playing the  bass part.

'I met a girl who never looked so alone

Like sugar water in your mouth luke warm

She tied a cherry stem for me with her tongue

We fell in love and now we’re both alone

‘Cause I don’t need any more friends

And another kiss like a fire on pavement

We’ll burn it down to the end
