Frank and Gerard were sitting in Frank's living room, exchanging random facts about themselves to pass the time. They had to wait around ten minutes until a show they both wanted to watch came on TV.

"Alright, your go, Frankie." Gerard reminded, resting his head on his hand tiredly as he stared at his boyfriend in awe, awaiting a response.

"Uhh.." Frank mumbled and pursed his lips as he thought, looking around the room to suddenly try to remember a fact about himself. "I- like dogs?" He shrugged, to which Gerard just laughed. "You think I don't know that already?" He chuckled.

Frank giggled with him and dug his phone out of his pocket, checking the time.
"Oh, dude! Wife Swap is on!" He exclaimed excitedly, bolting up from the chair.

Gerard grinned at the news and got up, rushing to the couch. Almost immediately it had turned to some sort of challenge, the two boys subconsciously competing with each other to see who was the fastest.

It's quite obvious who won-- it was, obviously, the taller of the pair. Gerard smiled mockingly and stuck his tongue out at Frank, snatching the remote from the coffee table.

"That is so not fair. You're, like, 5'8!" Frank complained with some sort of fake pouty face, moving to lay upside down on the couch, only to sit back up again. "Ow, fuck. All the blood went to my brain, I feel like Megamind-" he groaned, rubbing his temple to ease the pain.

Gerard laughed at his stupidity and draped an arm over his shoulder lazily, pulling him into his side. "Idiot." He muttered under his breath, kissing the top of his head affectionately.

"Shut up." He rolled his eyes, though couldn't help but crack a small, unwanted smile. He leaned against his partner comfortably as the show started playing, only making his smile widen even further. "I feel like a middle-aged woman just chillin' with her husband. Is that weird?" He questioned, tearing his gaze away from the screen to look at Gerard instead.

"No. We're watching Wife Swap together, that's literally old married couple culture.. but I'm honored that I could be considered your husband." He stated in response, glancing down at Frank for a split second, the sight of him leaning against his side making his heart swell with happiness.

"Got a point there." Frank shrugged, letting out a quiet laugh as he set his gaze on the television screen again. "Of course.. I mean, you're my boyfriend, after all. Took us awhile to get there, but it was all worth it in the end."

"You're so sappy." Gerard sighed, acting annoyed- although we all knew that he was internally melting at his words. "How many rom-coms and clichè Christmas movies have you watched to become like this?"

Frank couldn't help but let his smile widen adoringly at that, deciding not to reply to Gerard's question.
"Love youuu-" he reminded, dragging out the last letter to emphasize his statement.

Gerard kissed the top of his head and nodded swiftly, snatching the blanket that was laying at the end of the couch to drape it over Frank's small frame. "I love you too." He said calmly.

"Promise?"

"Of course."
