Chapter 1

Lisa's POV

Last night was beautiful. I smiled at the thought. I still have my eyes closed as I try to feel the bed.

Jennie.

I sat up when I realised no one is lying beside me. "Hon?" I called. I stood up and tried to check the bathroom, but to my surprise, she wasn't there. I tried to look for her inside the closet but no sign of Jennie. I traveled my eyes across the room when I saw something on my night stand. I walked towards it. I sat on my bed.

To Lisa

I don't know why but something inside me is afraid to open the letter.

My Princess,

I'm sorry. I know what I did was unforgivable. I'm sorry to ruin the most beautiful love that we have. I'm sorry because I am too weak to tell you everything. I'm sorry for being a coward, I'm sorry, but this is not our time Hon. Someday, our paths will cross again. Don't look for me. I love you Lalisa Manoban, always and forever.

"No, no, this can't be" I need to find Jennie.

"AARON!!" I screamed. my tears were falling from my eyes.

"Your highness?" He came in rushing.

"Where's Jennie?" I asked looking at me as my tears fell down.

"I saw her left the palace at dawn" He said.

so she did left me.

"I need to go to the Kims" I said. I didn't bother to dress up, I took out my coat and proceeded outside the palace. I hopped inside the car and drove. I don't care about stupid policies. I have to find Jennie.

I pressed on the gas pedal hard and I arrived at the mansion in no time. As I arrived, they bowed down to me but I didn't care anymore.

As soon as I entered the mansion, "Where's Jennie Kim?" I asked one of their maids.

"Your highness, the Kims left the country this morning" She said.

"Do you know where they went?" I asked. I got no for a response. I rushed to Jennie Kim's room. As soon as I opened it, it was empty. I saw a photograph on her night stand. It was a picture of the two of us.

"Why did you leave me? you told me you won't leave me, you told me that you'll always be there for me, you told me you love me, so why then leave me Jen? Am I not worth it?" I can't help but cry at the picture.

"Priya" I heard a familiar voice. I turned my head to where the voice came from and I saw Chaeng standing a few inches from me.

"Where's Jennie?" I asked looking at her with my tear-filled eyes.

Third person's POV

The pink haired girl hugged the princess who's confused and broken. As much as Rosé wanted to tell her everything, she know that its not her place to meddle. Her tears fell as she listens to the cry of her sister.

I'm sorry Lisa. She thought. She never thought she'd see the latter in this situation. She can feel the pain, and wish that she can take the pain away from Lisa but all she could ever do is comfort her.

"Did she really loved me?" The princess questioned that broke the heart or Rosé.

"She loves you so much Lis" She said caressing the hair of the Princess.

"Then why leave?" Lisa uttered with a broken voice. Rosé wasn't able to answer. She thought that there's a right time for everything.

On the other hand.

"Jen, do you really need to do this?" Jisoo said as she helped Jennie carry her luggage.

"I need to chu, for her" Jennie said trying to hold back her tears.

"why didn't you say goodbye?" Jisoo asked. Jennie took a deep breath to answer the question of the older lady.

"I might not have the guts to leave her if I see her cry" She simply said not noticing the tear that fell from her eyes.

"What you did was painful for her Jen" Jisoo said. "I know chu, I don't want to hurt her, but I don't have a choice. Sooner or later she'll understand" Jennie said wiping the tears that are constantly falling down her cheeks.

"Take care there Jen, I'll visit you soon" She said hugging her little sister.

"I will chu, please tell Rosie to be with Her and help her" Jennie said. Jisoo nodded. She thought, her friend really made her decision.

Jennie's flight was called and It was time for her to leave.

We'll see each other again my love.

For Jennie, life without Lisa is the hardest, she has to adapt to the thought that she left and that Lisa is no longer hers. Every single night, she cries herself to sleep, looking at Lisa's pictures. She's never been this broken. Her parent's respected her decision to live independently. She was eager to live on her own, because that's what she think is the best for her. she drowned herself with work, no time for herself, no time to date guys or gals, no time for her own happiness. for her, it was the best escape but every night, she deals with the nightmares on her bed. After working hard for many years, she was able to establish a name for herself, she now owns one of the biggest company of event organizers around the globe, the company she built on her own because this is the last thing she did for her love. the party.

Lisa on the other hand was struggling of the thought the Jennie left her. But Rosé was there for her. She helped the princess and went through the struggle with her, she never failed to do her job as a friend and as a sister. She saw how Lisa grew from the situation and slowly accepted her fate. She witnessed the coronation of the princess. Every princess' dream was to wear that crown, but not Lisa. Not even a single hint of happiness was visible from her eyes during the event. The Queen wasn't able to do anything to comfort her granddaughter, instead, she supported Lisa to every decision she makes, she gives everything she can for her granddaughter.
