"This is a duel to end a war. Light vs dark, good vs evil. It is a duel of the fates."

The Rebel's knights broke off from us and set a perimeter around the ruins of the temple. They would be our line of defense against any storm troopers that come our way.

I look up at the ruins of what used to be our grand temple. Of what used to be our home.

It is a suitable battleground. If all goes according to plan the Sith will die in the place where this battle started eight months ago when they struck. And every Jedi who was mercilessly slain in its halls would be avenged tonight.

"Are you ready for this?" Ashoka asked me.

"Ready as I'll ever be." I said, not looking down at her.

As one we all walked inside. The fire had destroyed most of the inside and the passages. Ash mixed with dust covered the floor. It looked horrible.

A lump formed in my throat as the memories of that night flooded my mind. The blaster shots, the screams, the dead bodies. But tonight they will be avenged and the Sith will fall. I can feel it.

" So nice of you all to join us." Sidious's voice boomed through the temple.

We looked up and at the highest passageway that was still standing. There he stood in all his evil glory.

He pulled his down resting it on his shoulders, the face of the man who used to be my mentor was revealed. But he looked different, mainly in the eyes that shone a bright yellow.

"We have been awaiting your arrival." The voice of Count Dooku echoed.

He appeared from behind Sidious, and the coughing hunk of metal General Grievous soon followed.

All three of them stood tall and looked down on us with hatred.

I smirked, we had expected them all to be here, planned for it actually.

"Where is she?" I yelled at them.

"She is safe.......for now."

"You have to let ger go. You said that if we came you would let ger go."

Together they laughed.

"Jedi fools." Dooku said.

But we weren't fools, we knew that they weren't going to just let her go. I just had to play along.

"It is time to surrender Jedi. Bow to the power of the dark side." Sidious commanded.

"Surrender we will not." Master Yoda said.

We all reached took out our lightsabers and ignited them, the different coloured blades hummed together.

"Then you will all die."

They ignited their blades. Obi-wan and Ashoka rushed to Grievous who coughed and spluttered as he jumped down amd met their blades with his own.

I ran to Dooku while the rest of the council went to face Sidious.

Dooku met my blade with his amd our battle of power and furry began.

The blades swooshed and collided with shear force it made me stumble slightly. He tried to take my miss-step to his advantage amd cut down my legs, but I jumped out the way and blocked the hit.

He tried to break the hold I had on his blade but I didn't let him. Our blades were inches away from our faces.

"It is such a shame that this will all end soon Skywalker." He said.

"Yeah, I might actually miss your snarky comments when we fight." I chuckled.

I pushed back making him stumble, I tried to slash for his abdomen but he blocked the hit. He kicked my feet from under me, as I fell my lightsaber was thrown away from me. He angles his lightsaber so the tip of the blade was just inches from my neck.

" This is the end boy."

He raised his blade above his head, as he was about to bring it down I used the force to summon my lightsaber to my hand. I ignited the blade and sliced off his feet.

He hollered in pain and I slice off his hand. He collapsed to his knees and I caught his blade that had been flung into the air when he fell.

I crossed the blades at his neck.

" This may be the end but not for me."

I sliced his head off.

I looked out, Greivious's body was laying on the ground below.

I jumped up to where the council and Sidious were.

Obi-wan, Ashoka and the council were on the ground. Lightsaber wounds to their arks amd legs. They moaned amd groaned in pain their hands wrapped around their wounds.

Only Master Yoda was left. I watched in awe as he and Sidious furiously battled it out. Red and green blades clashed together in a blur.

Their duel was epic, fast, and full of skill. This is a duel to end a war. Light vs dark, good vs evil. It is a duel of the fates.

I could see that Master Yoda was growing weary and his strikes weren't filled with as much strength.

Holding mine and Dooku's blades in each hand I jumped into the fight. But despite having three blades coming at him Sidious still managed to block each of our strikes.

He pushed Yoda back into the wall with the force. Yoda tried to scurry back up but he was in too much pain.

It was only Sidious and I left.

"This isn't how I wanted this to go Anakin. I wanted to make you my apprentice. I could have taught you how to embrace your full potential in the dark side. Together we could have ruled the galaxy. You could have been a powerful sith lord, gone down in history, and remembered forever. "

I shook my head.

"I would never have joined you in the dark side. Not then, not now, not ever."

His expression twisted to one of pure hatred and his eyes began to glow brighter.

" Such a shame. You could have been great, but now I have to kill you and then when I'm done with you I will slice off Padme's head."

He came at me, but as his blade was about to slice my throat I pushed him back into Yoda's waiting blade.

The green blade pierced through Sidious's stomach making him gasp in pain.

Using all his strength he angled his head to look in my direction. He reached his wrinkled hand put to me.

"Ana-"

He wheezed, his head rolled to the side and his heart stopped.

A sigh of relief slipped through my lip.

The battle was over, we had won.
