*Riiiing*
My head shot up at the sound of the bell ringing. Did I fall asleep in class? Crap how did that happen? I know I stayed up late practicing my piano but I seriously didn't expect to fall asleep! Man my mom's gonna let me have it if she finds out.
"Ah keade is awake" I looked up to see Gonta's friendly face.
"Gonta what are you still doing here" I raised an eyebrow.
"Ah well gonta see that keade had fallen asleep and gonta figured it not very gentlemanly to leave lady friend asleep in empty classroom" he explained.
"Well thank you very much for your kindness gonta" I smiled at him. He really is far too sweet for this world "hey what time is this"
"Oh" gonta looked at his watch "it was 9:30"
"9:30!" I gasped "but it's almost class time. We're going to be late!"
"Being late is not very gentlemanly!" Gonta jumped to his feet "come keade. Gonta will take your hand and we shall run together!"
I nodded and took his hand without a second thought. As we ran down the hallway together I began to notice something. His hand felt soft and warm. They were big but I also felt protected as he held me. Like no one could ever hurt us.
I felt myself blush slightly. What are these feelings?
