chapter 7

After shopping,they all went to Guero's place because Massi had some serious work to complete with Guero at his office.well,home office.

Fey and Daisy had a whale of a time together.
Fey designed styles for Fashion experts.She loved food, partying,
making money,spending money and f**king Massi. ~her words

She had met Max at a 5 star club. She did notice him staring at her but payed no attention.
And when he had requested for her number she asked for his instead,promising to call when she returned home but ended up leaving him a short text a month later.

"Wtf. You didn't like him?" Daisy had asked stunned

"Whatttt?...hell yes! I loved him.I thought about his gorgeous face every f**king day.
You know,most men dont appreciate what they didn't work hard for" She took a sip of her wine then smiled.

They spent the remaining time watching a horror film at Guero's private cinema located at the underground section of his mansion which Daisy hadn't been to before.

At the end of the movie,they both had their arms wrapped around themselves with the horror stalked in their heads. Like the weird silence in the large room wasn't enough,the projector automatically went off leaving them in pure darkness.

"Oh no" Daisy muttered

"F**k I hate this shi.."

Fey suddenly turned to the door
"Hey" she called
"Hey" she repeated

"Yo,stop there's no one's there" Daisy chuckled trying to reach for her in the dark.

"I can see someone,a guy.you don't see him?"

"I don't see no-one" Daisy shrieked this time

"He's nodding his head right now" Fey whispered seriously

"Stop playing with me,there's no-one here except us" Daisy whispered back

"He has a black top on"

"i can't see my white crocs and you can see his black shirt?"

"You not afraid?"

Daisy hesitated before answering "No"

"Then why you whispering?"

"because you're whispering"

"Ok.turn on the lights"

"Who? Me?"

"Yeah"

"No.you go"

"I guess we'll have to just remain here since we both don't have the guts to get off our chairs" Fey sighed

"But imagine f**King in a room as dark as this" she added

"Are you being dead serious ? Like right now?"

"Yeah,why not?.....

"C'mon i'm kidding" Fey giggled
"I have my phone with me tho.i'll call Massi"

"Why not just put on your touch and we'll find our way out?"

"No way, that's death. Imagine if someone suddenly grabs me or you from the back, we'll be dead in 2 minutes. I would rather die while banging"

"just call, please hurry"

"Babe can you come get us? This place really creepy "

"Ok thankyou"

"Massi is such a sweetheart" Daisy complimented

"I know right?"

12:15pm

Stepping out of her bathroom,
Daisy stared amazed at the locked window in her room.
She was convinced she had left it opened before leaving for the bathroom in order to ventilate the room.

She shrugged at the situation,not making a big deal out of it.She probably forgot to open it.

She opened the window again before changing into her silky pyjama in her closet.

Stepping out of the closet dressed for the night,she noticed the opened window had been shut again.

The situation was quite alarming.she rubbed her palms over her eyes.

"Ok...nothing big" she simmered herself down.
"It was a double casement window,the wind could have shut it" she justified.

To avoid any further misconceptions,she shut the windows completely and turned on the air condition before walking off to the kitchen, grabbed a green apple and hurried back to her room.
Staring satisfyingly at the still shut window,she got into bed and bit a mouthful of the apple.
She focused on the crunchy noise from her chewing until she got distracted by the squeak of the window handle,like someone was trying to get it open.

She paused startled with her eyes widened,she was scared af. Who wouldn't?
She had locked it,like locked.with the bolt.
And then she heard someone grunt as the window drifted open.She immediately jolted off the bed.her apple rolled to an extended corner of the room.

"Wh.. who's there?" She squealed

"I said who?" She asked again expecting whosoever it was to respond.

She quickly got Fey's number on the dial.
After three rings with no response,
Fey's voicemail said
"Hi! This is Fey. Leave a message,i'm banging"

Daisy exhaled deeply and decided to leave her a voice message.

"Hi Fey"she whispered with her breath unsteady.

"I'm sorry i called this late but there's.. there's something strange going on"
She explained as she tiptoed slowly towards the window.

"someone keeps opening and shutting my window"

Daisy stuck her head outside the window looking left then right to see if there was anyone

"Incase if anything happens to...."

A sledgehammer slammed  her face,her body dropped weightlessly to the floor.
