She was different. She still had her childish tendencies of course, she was only 5. But there was something extremely off about her. Her face was somewhat sunken, as if she hadn't gotten enough to eat. And what should have been a vibrant (S/C), was paler than it should have been. Those bags under her eyes is also something a 5 year old probably should not have. Speaking of her eyes, they held wisdom much beyond her years, but they also held unknown horrors. There was something very different about her. She would talk to thin air, as if someone was actually talking to her. Now, this wouldn't be alarming if that was a part of her quirk. But she's quirkless. So why would she be talking to thin air? That wasn't the only strange thing about her. She also talked to her kitten, Mr. Midnight. He had a sleek black coat with wide golden eyes. She never left without him. There were many strange things about her. The mentions of a man named Itward, secret doors, a monster named Remor, and other strange unworldly creatures. But she was indeed a beautiful little girl. She had large (E/C) orbs and (H/L) that was a beautiful (H/C). She had strange teeth as well, there were two sharp k-9's on either side of her mouth and the same on her bottom jaw. She almost always wore a pale yellow dress with a blue bow along with black and white striped leggings with cute brown boots and she always had a dark brown messenger bag. Her parents were quite worried for her. She always said things like 'look, it's uncle Shepherd!' or 'don't you see Itward? Why do you ignore him?'.

They took her to a therapist, who only was concerned with what she called the five realities. He could explain that these people, for example Itward, as her imaginary friends. As a way of coping with trauma and so she wouldn't feel lonely, as she had no friends. But other realities? Midnight adventures to other worlds? Not so easy to explain. After that, she started to disappear. She would be in the living room one minute, and in the locked study the next. She would claim that 'I took the underground passage'. Then she started to talk about things called kamalas. After that her parents started to get even more concerned. But not for her well being, oh no, for their image. They were a white picket fence family. Or that was the image that they wanted to uphold. Behind closed doors was a broken alcoholic father who worked for minimum wage, and a cold drug addict mother who worked for a strip club and brought her clients back home for her own pleasure. And then there was you. YOU were different. You went to go play outside instead of listening to the screaming matches in your home. You licked to go on adventures with your friends. It didn't matter that no one else could hear or see them, but that was because you were different. And being different was okay.

You were outside, just walking around and picking up trinkets as you went, stuffing what you deemed useful into your bag. Mr. Midnight sat perched on your shoulder, talking every now and then. But other than that, it was a comfortable silence. But oh how today would change your future. As you walked into the next neighborhood, you heard a loud yelp from the house across from you. A little boy ran outside, sobbing, and he pattered his way across the street, towards you. Wait, was he getting closer? He bumped into you, and you both fell.

"A-are you okay?? I'm s-so sorry! P-please don't be mad!"

In front of you was a bout with dual colored hair, half white and half red. You could only see his right eye, which was a brown-grey color. The other being covered with bandages. He was frantically apologizing tears still streaming from his visible eye. He wore a baby blue shirt and dark brown shorts.
