Chapter 1 | The Beginning of Her Tale

-8 Years Ago-

Aphmau Irena, Princess of Healing. She was only but nine years old. Aphmau had yet to control her healing perfectly.

Aphmau ran, she was running in a flower field, Aphmau loved nature, she loved the plants, animals, even the butterflies and bees.

The young girl giggled, as she fell onto the grass on her back. "This is so peaceful!~" She says. The day was, perfect and beautiful. No wind, no clouds, the blue sky stretched so far. It was quiet, aside from the chirp of the birds, running of the deer in the forest nearby, and the sound of the crickets.

"Aphmau! Where ar- There you are!" A girl about a year older then Aphmau walked up, she had blue hair and blue eyes. Aphmau laughed, standing up. "Hi Katelyn!~" Aphmau says. "You got to stop running off like that," Katelyn says, she seemed a little out of breath.

Aphmau only replied with a giggle. "Well then you got to stop looking away from me!" She says. "Shut up" Katelyn said. Aphmau laughed.

That was the last time Aphmau really interacted with Katelyn, because Katelyn had went missing. No one knows what had happened to her, it was a mystery.

{-aphmau's perspective-}

I was sitting at my desk in front of the window, writing in a diary. I always wrote i it, at least last year, after I got it on my birthday. It has been about eight years since I saw Katelyn, my best friend. I stopped crying about her a long time ago. I pretty much...ignore that memory.

Just then, it started raining outside. I groaned. "Can this day get anymore depressing?" I ask, clearly annoyed. I stood up, getting of my chair and started heading to my door. As I walked in the halls, I heard my annoying brother, Ein, who was two years younger then me.  "Hey Aphmau!!" He says, hugging my arm. "Ugh let go" I say, already wishing I hadn't left the comfort of my room.

"What if I don't want to?" Ein asked. I groaned, rolling my eyes. I walked on, Ein was walking with me, still hugging me. My destination was the kitchen. So I could eat breakfast. But it was hard to do anything with my brother attached to me.

I then arrived at the kitchen, the cooks were there waiting, as If they knew I was coming. "What would you like for Breakfast you two?" One asked. "Eggs and Bacon!" Ein says happily. I hate it that me an Ein are so different, but so alike. "Same as him I guess" I say. I then start walking to sit down at the table, and Ein is still attached to me.

I sat down, Ein sitting right next to me. He id starting to annoy me, not that I already was annoyed by his actions.

He then leaned his head on my shoulder. "Can you not?" I ask. Ein ignored what I asked. After one or two minutes, the eggs and bacon were done cooking, an was handed out to us on a plate. Ein started eating it immediately. I rolled my eyes, eating mine.

"Mom, Dad, can you get him off of me?"

I had decided to go to them to get Ein to stop hugging me. Mom only giggled, and Dad sighed, he thought it was funny too because he was smiling.
