Chapter 3

Jaxon's POV.

I am on my way to grab my lunch at the cafeteria. Hindi kasi ako naka pag almusal kanina dahil nag mamadali akong umalis at makapasok dito. My Dad never wanted me to enter Raven Dale,  hindi naman daw kailangan dahil wala naman daw itong kaaway and the people love him—pero may iba akong kailangan dito. I also need to check if Patrick is there, as that little brat said.

Napapangiti nalang ako pag naalala ko ang nanyari kanina. Ang tapang-tapang nito kanina ng unang kita namin pero hindi man lang nanlaban sa mga bully na ‘yun. The thing is, you don't see fear in her eyes yet...I saw enjoyment. Maybe I should never underestimate students here, this is not an ordinary elite school that I used to know. As far as I know they will not pamper and cuddle you here.

The cafeteria is big enough to cater the junior and senior high students, just like the guide that was given to me stated. Merong tatlong cafeteria ang school, isa sa first year at second year, isa rin sa third year at forth year at ito ‘yung isa pa. The headmaster also given me a black card, it’s especially made for each students to buy their food and also serve as a key to their dormitory. He also took my biometric earlier para ma-encode daw sa system ng eskwelahan.

Maraming estudyante ang nandirito at napatingin ng pumasok ako. Hinanap ng mga mata ko si Patrick but I can't find him, that's why I decided to get my lunch instead.

“Your the tranfered student right?" Tanong ng babae na nasa counter ng namimili ako sa screen ng lunch ko.

“Yes, I guess everybody know that I'm the new guy." I politely said after I press my order.

“Ang mga estudyante dito simula grade school nandito na, kaya pag may bago makikilala agad.” pahayag nito.

“I see..here’s my card." At inabot sa kanya ang card ko.

She made some tap on the screen in front of her and swiped the card and handed it to me afterward. Mayamaya kinuha nito ang order ko at bumalik.

“Here's your lunch Mr. Monteverde." At ngumiti ito sa'kin kaya tinanguan ko nalang ito.

“Anyway, welcome to Raven Dale." Pahabol nito.

“Thanks.." I answered back.

Everyone keeps on welcoming me, is it a good thing or a bad thing? I was about to look for a table to seat when someone pat my shoulder.

“Hey, dude!" It's Patrick—finally.

“Hey, long time no see." Sabi ko dito.

Patrick is my cousin on my Mother's side. We're close to each other and we often hang out pag umuuwi ito sa kanila during holiday and summer vacation.

“Let's go, join us on our table." Paanyaya nito kaya sumunod na ako sa kanya.

Pumunta kami sa table kung saan may nakaupong tatlong babae. Nakilala ko ang isa sa kanila, I meet her earlier, I think I remember her name as Maggy.

“Just as I told you, your cousin is here." Said the girl with the glasses.

“Hindi lang ako makapaniwala na nandito s'ya.” dahilan ng pinsan ko at sabay na kaming umupo.

“Anyway this is Dhapnee Priaz." he pointed the girl at the corner na busy sa pagkalikot ng cellphone nito. She turned to me and nod and back to her phone again.

“This is Kristelle Evone Sy and Margarette Gregor." Both smile at me.

“Pagpasensyahan mo na si Ash kanina, she's not her usual self kaya ganun.” said Margarette.

“Yeah, mainit lang siguro dugo nun sa'kin. By the way she's the one who told me that you are here." Pagbigay alam ko kay Patrick na ikinagulat nito.
