Evelyn's pov

After doing some stupid homework, I called Xavier for some real work, he is the second closest to Red and me, I am the first one and one of the few who has seen Red

"Hey, stranger" he picked up on the second ring

Xavier is the jolly one opposite to his name. His family left him when he was a kid and he became a part of Red
how? It's a long story which I don't intend to explain.

We are his only family and of course his girlfriend who doesn't know about Red
He is very loyal and smart he is the one whom I can count upon

"Hey, Xav, how are you?"

"Bad" he replied dryly and I chuckled I haven't met him in a looooong time which is only 2 weeks but it's long for him

"I'll meet you soon Xav" he snorts

"Keep saying that" I chuckled again

" Okay okay. That's enough, tell me what's going on?"

"Mr Wilson, he called again "

" Red has already said to not reach him Xav, he"

Someone knocked at the door

"I'll call you later"

"Bye stranger" ending the call I opened the door

"Yes Olive"

"Busy?"

"Nah, come in"

" today is welcome PARTYYYY" damn she is too excited

"and?"

She looked at me like I had grown two heads

"We need to get ready, girl" oh oh

" uh... Olive, I am not going "

"Yes you are "

"No"

" Please, I will be alone without you " she gave those puppy eyes which generally don't work with me but she was right she will be alone so for the sake of her I said 'yes'

" Woohoo, this is going to be so much fun" she exclaimed happily

"So do you have a dress?"

" yup"

" Great, I will bring mine, we will get ready together. You don't have a problem with that right?" she asked hesitantly

"Of course not " she left the room skipping

She is crazy
Olive came back after 10 minutes.

"Here this is my dress, show me yours"

Her dress was beautiful. It was white,
Mine was red

We got ready soon because according to we were late

I kept my hair down in its natural waves

"Damn, you look hot eve"

"Thanks, you look amazing too" I smiled she truly was looking good

"Thanks" she blushed

"Let's go, we are getting late"

"Oh my gosh, it's 8:30 " and with that, she dragged me to that boring party

Life is not always as easy as it looks.

everyone has some problems in their life
but sometimes those problems are so big that it breaks you to the point where you just want to give up but giving up is not an option not for me. I have to stand up for my loved ones and myself
