Rome and Germania's eyes widened in shock as Gaul was struck.

Gaul let out a near bloodcurdling cry of pain. She fell to the ground as blood began to seep out of her body. She began to tear up from the feeling of betrayal.

"Gaul!" Rome and Germania exclaimed.

They quickly dropped their weapons and dived to the ground towards Gaul. They turned her over so she was looking up at them.

"Gaul, are you alright?! Please, tell us you're going to live!" Germania cried.

"I'm sorry Adelwulf. I needed you two to stop fighting. And look at that, you're not fighting anymore." Gaul smiled bitterly, ignoring the blood dribbling down her chin.

"We don't want you to die! What about France, Holy Rome, Andorra, and the rest of your children? What about your niece and nephews? What about your sister?!" Rome exclaimed, now beginning to cry.

Gaul visibly flinched. "They'll understand. I could feel I was supposed to die soon, and I told them. I just didn't think I would be killed trying to stop your dumbasses." She chuckled.

"Genovefa." Germania said sadly.

"Don't worry about me. Please, just look after my- our children. You too Rome." Gaul smiled through tears.

She didn't stop smiling trying to comfort the two sobbing ancients. Eventually, her chest rose and lowered one last time as the light left her eyes. Her hands fell limp, dropping from their faces into the the blood pooling from the wounds on her body.

"Gaul." Rome began before being interrupted by a pair of gasps.

"V-Vati, how could you?" A young sounding voice gasped.

Germania's head whipped around. He saw Francis and Ludwig with wide eyes. Francis mouth was gaping, while Ludwig looked ready to break down in tears.

"France, Holy Rome, I-"

"How could you?! She told you to stop fighting, and you kept fighting! And now, she's dead! Is this what you wanted?!" Francis screamed through sobs.

"Francis." Rome began sadly.

"Ta gueule batard! It's your fault my maman is dead!" Francis screamed.

"Francis?" Germania asked softly.

"Be quiet Germania, you're responsible for this too!" Francis growled. "I will never forgive you for this."

"How could you do this Vati?" Ludwig asked quietly. It looked as if all the light in his eyes had disappeared.

"I'm so sorry." Rome and Germania thought to themselves.

The scene faded at as a gasp was sniffle was heard.

The other nations turned to the source of the sniffle, being France.

France tried his best to choke down a sob. But he wasn't able to keep down the tears.

"W-Why? After everything." Andorra's voice trembled as she spoke.

Spain and Portugal ran to engulf their little sister in a hug to comfort her.

"M-M-Maman?" Monaco stuttered.

Germany was shocked. If France was his twin, then that meant Gaul was his mother. His own father killed his Mutti?!

"What, how? I thought they would've- how could he?! My own father, my own mother?!" Germany thought to himself.
