"Don't" I sigh.

"What do you mean?" He asks confused.

I look around to make sure no one was around.

"I'm staying at Oscar's house until my dad's get back from his trip" I sigh.

"What?" Latrelle replies. "why?"

He sounded mad.

"My dad made me stay over here" I lie knowing he'd get mad if I told him the truth.

"Right" He whispers.

"I should go" I whisper not wanting to talk anymore.

I quickly end the call and let out a huge sigh.

"Is everything okay?" Oscar asks walking up to me.

"Everythings fine" I smile as I begin walking inside.

"Alma" He whispers grabbing my arm.

"What is it?" I ask putting on a smile.

"I'm heading to Rosa's to get dinner. You wanna come?" He asks.

You know what why not.

"Sure" I whisper.

A smile worked across his face as we headed into his car.

We began driving to Rosa's

I rested my head on the window as I left the cool breeze hit my face.

We arrived at Rosa's shortly after.

As we begin to head in, Oscar notices a familiar green car in the car park.

"Shit" I whisper to myself realising the prophets were here.

Latrelle was here.

Why were they here?

This is Santos territory.

Oscar storms into the restaurant. I chase after him.

"Get out" He shouts pointing at the prophets.

Latrelle's smile fades away once he notices I was there.

"I think I wanna stay" Crack sighs jumping off the table.

The leader of the prophets was called Crack. Latrelle mentioned him a few times but I had never met him.

"I said get out" Oscar shouts causing the prophets to laugh.

"Oscar let's go" I whisper grabbing his arm.

"Listen to the bitch" Crack laughs.

"Don't you dare?" Oscar shouts clenching his fists.

Latrelle stands up from his seat but Jerome pulls him back.

"This is their territory" Jerome whispers causing Crack to get mad.

The rest of the prophets nod in agreement.

Oscar seemed to notice Latrelle could not stop staring at me.

"Fine we'll go. Adios mama" Crack winks at me as he and the prophets leave the restaurant.

I could tell Latrelle wanted to speak to me but I shook my head telling him to leave.

As they drove off. I turn back to face Oscar.

"I'm sorry about them" Oscar sighs sitting in a booth.

"It's okay don't worry" I sigh taking a seat beside him.

I wrap my hands around his arm as I rest my head on his shoulder.

A smile returned to his lips as he rested his head.

We sat there for a few seconds before getting interrupted by the sound of Ryan's voice.

"Hey guys" Ryan smiles causing me and Oscar to jump up.

I quickly let go of his arm and nearly fall of the seat.

Ryan looks at me weirdly before noticing Oscar was with me.

"My eh shift just ended. I'm gonna get someone else to take your order" Ryan stutters before rushing off.

Me and Oscar begin laughing as we watch Ryan race off.

-------------------------------------

We headed back home to see the Santos and Cesar sat in the living room playing video games.

"Foods here" Oscar shouts holding up the bag.

The boys jump up in excitement.

I head towards the bathroom to freshen up.

My phone begins to ring.

It was dad.

"Hey dad" I smile holding the phone to my ear.

"How is everything?" He asks.

As I leave the bathroom I stop and watch as everyone sat on the couch eating dinner.

The smiles on their faces made me smile.

"Good dad. Everythings good" I smile.

"Night Alma" Dad smiles.

"Night" I whisper before hanging up the call.

--------------------------------------

The time now read 11pm. Everyone was asleep.

Cesar made me sleep on the bed even though I insisted sleeping on the floor.

He fell asleep on the floor within minutes and here I was wide awake.

I couldn't sleep due to his annoying snoring.

I decided to get up and grab a glass of water from the kitchen.

The santos were all sat on the couch.

Oscar let's out a cough motioning them to stop talking.

"You okay Alma?" Oscar smiles.

"Yeah good. Just getting water" I smile back.

The santos sit there in silence waiting for me to leave.

I knew they were discussing what happened in Rosa's.

"Night" I smile and they wave as I leave.
