Suddenly Kid rapids fires with Liz and Patty the two doge the attacks. I bite my lip as I realize that the ringing of Kids pistols could disturb classes near by. Sure enough I look around and see a few kids looking through windows looking at me then Kid then Soul then Black Star then me again. I give a nervous smile and wave at them. They with draw from the window and I bit my lip harder and the metallic taste of blood rose in my mouth. I turn back to watch the fight just in time to see Kid jump into the air and try to kick Black Star in the head, but fails as he blocks the attack with his arms. Kid jumps back and lands a few feet away taking note that he couldn't land attacks easily on him. As Kid lands Soul goes charging forward his hand suddenly turning into the tip of a scythe and he swipes at Kid. Kid blocks the attack with Patty and shoves Patty to Souls gut. Shock spreads across Soul features as Black Star yells "What the Hell." My heart skips a beat as I realize how out matched these two were compared to Kid. Kid fires Patty and compressed wave links of his soul hits Soul. Soul flys back his hand turning back to normal. I scream as he hits the floor. I'm about to run over to him when he clutches his stomach and yells "Ow that really really hurt!" I sight in relief as I see that he's ok. I look behind me as I hear a rolling sound I see a man in a rolling chair with Gray hair and round glasses. He had a scar on his face and a cigaret in his mouth. He wore jeans and a black T-shirt under a long lad coat with gray stitching's on it. Beside him was two girls one with tan hair put up in pig tails and green eyes. She had on a white long sleeved shirt under a tan/yellow sweater vest and a green and yellow stripped tie tucked in. Along with a black and red checkered skirt. The other girl had long black hair up in a pony tail she wore a long tan dress with a yellow star to the top left. It had a metal chain like design around the waist and the side of the dress was cut up to her thigh showing her right leg and a pair of black knee high socks. They all looked at me with curious eyes. A confused look on all of their faces. I gave a nervous smile toward them not knowing what else to do. "Hi!" I said after a long dragged out moment of silence. " I assume your here with Death the Kid." the man says. I nod. "Me and Kid are both new students. It's our first day." I say nervously. The man frowns "I was only aware that Death the Kid would be joining the academy." He says through narrowed eyes. "He goes by Kid, and I assure you I'm a new student as well." I reply back. The man nods and turns to watch the fight. I turn as well to watch and sigh again. Soul and Black Star were making no progress. When ever they charged in to attack, Kid either deflected it with Liz and Patty or fired at them making them have to stop and doge more bullets. But as the bullets rained down on the two boys they manage to group up. Soul turns his arm back into a scythe. Kid stops firing. "Let's hurry up and finish that guy off." Black Star says. I hold back an other laugh. "That ones full of confidence isn't he?" I mumble "It's about time." Soul says in agreement. At this point I'm very confused. They hadn't even touched Kid much less land an attack. What were they planning? I look to Kid and see he had the same puzzled look that I do. "For what?" Kid asked not sounding concerned at all. But as I watched my concern started to grow their confidence unnerved me. "You should quack in fear of your impending death!" Black Star yells. "When you say that it just makes me wanna laugh." Kid replies back his cool expression showing no sighs of worry. "You won't be laughing when you taste the power of our friendship!" Black Star continues "Thats right the power is beyond belief." Soul chips in. As I hear this I can't help but snicker. Friendship? It's sounds like something out of a cheesy movie. "What?!" Kid says sounding quit shocked for someone who had been the obvious winner just moments ago. Suddenly Soul jumps into the air a flash of light surrounds him and for a moment all you can see is the bright light. But it disappears as he comes down. To my surprise he was now a scythe again.As Black Star opens his hands to catch him Soul falls on to him the sharp blade hitting Black Star's head. Blood gushes from his head for a moment but it quickly stops. "Why'd you catch me by the blade!" Soul's voice yells through the Scythe "I don't know!" Black Star yells back. As he bends down to pick Soul up. Black Star doesn't lift Soul up it looks like Soul is to heavy. His eyes bulge from to the effort. I smile as I watch. "Black Star and Soul are definitely lacking in the compatible wave link department." says the tan haired girl. "So it seems." The gray haired man chuckles. I watch as electrical sparks pass through Soul and Black Star's wave links blocking each other. "It's almost hard to watch. These two can't seem to sense each other's wave link at all." mumbles the tan haired girl."Before a mister and a weapon fight against an opponent they have to match wave links." Mentions the gray haired man. Soul turns back to human form and turns his back to Black Star "Black Star, It's over between us." Soul says dramatically. Black Star puts on a shocked expression. Then BANG! Kid shots Black Star and Soul. "Kid!" I shout angrily. He looks over to me the corners of his lips slightly raised holding back an amused smile. "My fingers slipped." He states. My anger disappears as I see this and a small smile crosses my lips. Soul and Black Star get up angrily. "We can't just quit in the middle of a fight." Soul growls "We can't leave, not till we beat him." Black Star snaps jumping up into a fighting stance. "K, we'll see how well that works." Kid says giving them both death stares. They charge him. Black Star runs up electricity sparking in his hands he try's to hit Kid but missed as Kid knocks Black Star's feet from under him Kid then hits him in the gut causing Black Star to fly over his shoulder. Black star lands on his feet as Soul charges with his once again Scythe hand Kid blocks the attack with Liz "Your as slow as you are stupid." Kid snaps. Soul jumps back and charges Black Star holds a chain in is hands and charges as well. Kid shoots both of them again and they are engulfed in smoke. As the smoke rises I notice Black Star's chain around Kids right ankle. I gasp. How did he? But it was to late Black star pulled on the chain and Kid fall backwards. Soul jumped at the chance and turned into a scythe flying through the air and aiming toward Kid. As Soul approached Kid leans to the right managing to avoid the blade. Kid does a backwards roll over and caused Black Star -who was still holding the chain to hold Kid in place-to slam face first into the blade of Soul because of The sudden movement . Kid was a few feet away now when he says suddenly "And now it's time to see the power of a grim reaper." O No! Wind started swirling around him dust rising up from the floor. " O no, O no, O no! Their resonating souls!" I mumble under my breath. As Kid starts to rise up into the air a few feet off the ground. Kid was surrounded by a huge blue bubble like think. Is soul. Only certain people could see a persons soul and I could tell Soul and Black Star were not one of those people. They challenges him unknowingly if only they could see his soul. Then they would understand what they were up against. Liz and Patty began to change. They turns from pistols to sliver Steel cannons. The air around him stopped him and he fell to the floor landing in a crouching position. He didn't change his position and black sparks surrounded him. "Execution mode, prepare to die." Kid said in a deadly tone. I notice Soul and Black Star's cool expressions start to show panic and worry and I couldn't blame them. Red rings started to circle Liz and Patty and I knew that in any moment know they'd be ready to fire. Kid slowly raised the two cannons and they soon stood side my side in front of him "Death Canon" Kid mumbles and a black of orange and red energy shoot toward Black Star and Soul. "This doesn't look good! We should run!" Soul yells and then the energy hits them. Black smoke rises and I run through it looking for Kid a small smile of my face. I found him as the smoke cleared and ran over to him. As I hear the black haired girl cry out "Black Star!" And I hear the running of her feet as she runs over to him and the slow foot steps of the tan haired girl behind. As I approach Kid he suddenly starts to fall backward. I burst into a run but don't make it as he crashes to the ground with a loud thud. I as I get to Kids side Liz and Patty come out of weapon form. They kinda looked alike I guess Liz was taller then Patty, she has long brown hear and wore a red tube top with a white tie and a pair of jeans and a weird hat I couldn't begin to describe. Patty wore the same thing but she had on puffy black shorts, and had short choppy blond hair. She also was shorter and had wider eyes then Liz. "What happened!" I shriek as I look down at Kid. Liz looks up at me "I have no idea Alex." she replies. I look to Patty for any answers she but she just shrugs her shoulders. I think "I know what happened." said the tan haired girl I turned to her, she smiles at me and I smiles back. She didn't seam to hate me. I wondered if she didn't make the connection that me and Kid were related. Or maybe she just didn't care that her partner was just beat by my brother. "Well I'm pretty sure it happened during Soul's last attack on Kid. I'm pretty sure Soul had cut part of Kids bangs. Then once things died down and the battle was over Kid noticed that one side of his bangs was shorter then the other. His symmetry as off. So he fainted." she finished and I laughed. "Leave it to Kid to faint over something as simple as uneven bangs" I say through gasps of laughter. I looked over at him them to Soul and Black Star.I guess this fight was more of a tie considering the state Kid was in. I giggle and I start to -with Liz and Patty's help- carry Kid home. Already making arrangements in my head for rebuilding the part of the school Black Star fall off of and broke. Knowing it would help Kid.
