The flashbacks that are happening, sickens me to the core.
I woke up, sweat all over my body. I had a hard time breathing. Gasping for air as my hands trembled.
I closed my eyes while tightening my grip on the bedsheets.

The way I dreamed of this dream on the same day as my breakup with him. how ironic.
I let out a breath, getting down from my bed as I can't sleep anymore. Somehow, everything feels surreal.
I glanced at the window, the moon still glowing outside. At this time, I could only think about one absolute question,

I can't believe it's morning already. I have always had the thought of being able to live this dreadful life.
I got up, not ready for what the world has in store for me.
"Miss, can I come in?" A voice spoke behind the doors.
"Yes, come in," I replied shortly.
The door then opens to reveal a maid.
"Your mother is looking for you ms, she's at the dining table." The maid told me.
"I'll be there in a second." And with those final words of mine, the maid left my room and closed the door.
I sighed, I had never been close to my mother. I felt as if she is a stranger to me.
She always had high hopes for me.
She always forces me to have good grades,
Screaming,
Yelling,
Hitting,
Those cycle never stops until I become the perfect daughter she always wanted me to be.
She would always have an obsession with my grades.
After all, that's what she only cares about.
I quickly washed up and grabbed a pair of clothes and then leaving my room, heading towards the dining table downstairs.
I sat on one of the chairs, her glancing at me.
"y/n, how are your studies going?" She said, with a small smile.
"I need to revise all over since my grades are bad," I replied shortly, looking down to my plate.
My father who was next to me said, with a nice smile,
"If that's the case, I can appoint a private tutor for you. I even have an acquaintance that is in the same field as you. He just graduated with an incredible degree."
"No, I don't need it," I said emotionless, not even sparing a glance at them.
I flinched at the sound of someone banging the table.
"Y/n! I have had enough of your insolent behavior, we gave you everything and now you do this? What is wrong with you? Have you gone mad? You were an incredible student in the past, how in the world do you end up like this?" My supposedly called mom, yelled right in front of my face.
I quickly stood up
"I've finished eating, I'm gonna go," I spoke with an emotionless and straight tone.
"Y/n stop! You are being a disgrace! I'm not finished yet." She shouted.
